  • "Cafe Boulud never disappoints and is my favorite spot for outdoor dining. A classy experience all around. "

  • "we wanted a special place to bring our granddaughter for her 25th birthday that had great food and ambience that would be as good as any in new york city. Well there was no dissappointment it was wonderful in all aspects.Great food, service and beautiful as well."

  • "We have eaten at Cafe Boulud Palm Beach many times in the past. Always an excellent meal. When we arrived (Saturday night in April 7:30) the place was nearly empty. I was expecting a small crowd. It soon became apparent. The service was extremely poor. The waiter took our orders, and we never saw him again. Thank goodness for the 2 bus servers. They not only poured our water and cleared plates, but also took wine orders, described our meal, and brought the check. The food was good (although not quite at the standard of Cafe Boulud NY), but for those prices, the service should be special. It was poor. Daniel Boulud's reputation is not being treated well at this establishment. We won't return."

  • "Everything about our evening was outstanding. Beginning with the service and server(Ion), ambiance, and unbelievable food and presentation!"

  • "We really enjoyed the service and the ambiance at Cafe Boulud. The food was good - albeit, very expensive and I wasn't fully satisfied. I loved the dessert - it was the highlight of the meal. (Deconstructed Key Lime Pie). Both meals were great - I just didnt think they were worth $45 an entree. I've had better for less money. (Charley's Crab, La Sirena etc etc)"

  • "Having been to dbBistro Miami, I extolled the cuisine & service to expect. Not even close! A no salt request on the entree was ignored; when finally our waitress returned we were told it was 'without extra salt' - hardly the same thing. Bread arrived long after we ordered & never refilled. The only attentive server kept our water glasses filled. A request to swap the memorable pea, for the offered soup, we were first told no & when prodded, the waitress said for a surcharge of $5. The vichyssoise was tasteless albeit velvety; the mahi was over-cooked, the liver unexciting, the vegetable risotta forgetable. The only item worthy of Daniel Boulud was the chocolate bread pudding. That was indeed divine! None of us would return. "

  • "Cafe Bolud was beautifully appointed not unlike the French countryside inspired cuisine. The smoked salmon appetizer with rye flatbread, carmelized onion chutney and mustard seed and soft cream cheese was perfect. The marinated beet and arugula salad was simple and terrific. As a main course I had the marinated chicken with lemon and asparagus. Again, a straight-forward dish but it was prepared and presented like a priceless portrait. My wife and I wanted some wine but did not want to drink an entire bottle and they offered 1/2 bottles of some of Napa's greatest wineries. In short, Cafe Bolud is terrific and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food in Palm Beach. "

  • "Good food. Nice place. The service was to fast, please don't bring the desert before our wine is finish. The somelier advice was soso, we have lamb and salmon. We found it strange to offer a Châteauneuf du Pape with the salmon. A lighter redseems more appropriate. Overall we where very appy with our dining Gérard "

  • "For my birthday I had made a reservation to Café Boulud. Unfortunately, it was a dissapointing experience; this restaurant is overated. The decor is nice, the dining room comfortable. I would have appreciated to eat in the garden area but it was not offered to us. We took the fixed menu. First it differed from what was posted on their internet site for Sunday. Second, at 45$ per person, one would have expected a menu with something more than a bistro experience. It was good but definitely did not meet our expectations. The staff was uptight, cold, not really attentive to us. What was supposed to be a great evening, was a sad experience. The value for money was simply not there. "

  • "We took my mother-in-law to celebrate her 93rd birthday. Although my husband and I had been to Cafe Bolud many times, it was a first for her. We wanted to take her somewhere she had never been and that would truly be a memorable evening. She absolutely loved the place. Both she and my husband had the lamb chops which were the best lamb chops they had ever had. The restaurant is expensive, but for special occasion such as this it is well worth it. It's especially worthwhile to go in the summer when they run specials. In addition to the tasty food, all of it is presented in a pleasing and creative manner. I highly recommend Cafe Bolud for special occasions."

  • "This is our favorite lunch venue, especially on the patio, which overlooks a fountain and gardens. There is hardly a more delightful experience to be found elsewhere nearby. The food, wine and service were all up to (their usual excellent) snuff."

  • "Went with friends and had the worst dinner I have had in Palm Beach. The bread was stale and we sent it back. I asked for olive oil which I never received. I had the 3 course meal for $45: overcooked and dry fish, a first course that I cannot describe and an overly sweet rhubard brulee. Another person had the lamb chops for $52. Even though most of the tables were empty at 7 PM, our waiter was hardly seen. I will never go back."

  • "Coming to this place is a special event. At least for those of us who do not spend this much on sustenance. But when the occasion is special, this is one place that should be considered. It is a great experience."

  • "We have been to Cafe Boulud at Palm Beach numerous times, we love celebrating special occasions here. On March 29th we dined at Boulud, and for the first time, we found the food a bit disappointing. We order the roasted beet salad and the tuna crudo as appetizers. The beet salad was good, the tuna wasn't, it was simple, not bad, but nothing special, not at this restaurant's level. Then we ordered the Australian lamb chops, which were average and a fish (can't remember the name) served over a bed of white rice, which was very bland and uninteresting. Service was good but a bit lower this time around. Overall, a very average dinner, having said that, we'll definitely give it another try."

  • "We are fans of Daniel Boulud and he continues to surprise us with his creative dishes. Excellent products prepared to bring out their ultimate flavor. Beautiful presentations and excellent service. We have been customers of Boulud restaurants world-wide for decades and have never had a bad meal. Don't pass up the Madeleines after dessert. Devine!!"

  • "Great food, atmosphere. Only miss was I did not love the mussels. They had a smokey flavor which is just not my taste however someone else might just love it. They credited my bill and that was not even necessary. GREAT service."

  • "Food and service well executed at this pricey but special local. Prix fixed nights available but otherwise expect to spend an easy $250 per couple if you go from apps through desserts. Well worth it for a special occasion...or if rolling in the dough eat there always. The Masada seasoned lamb chops are a must have."

  • "We had a new waiter who was trying much too hard. He was actually running through the restaurant to get things done. We felt rushed all night long. They need to calm this kid down."

  • "Very much like the seating area outdoors. The food is good but sometimes the prefix menu is limited to choose from.$5.00 for a cup of coffee is excessive."

  • "I have eaten at many of Boulud's restaurants. This was my third time at Boulud;s Palm Beach outpost. A flawless execution from arrival to departure. Excellent, professional service in a very attractive room. The tables are well spaced, allowing for private conversation and a feeling of intimacy. The food is, as one would expect, prepared and served at the highest level. The brunch menu available on weekends is varied allowing one plenty of scope between traditional breakfast foods and lunch entrees. The three course prix fixe brunch is very well priced and offers a good selection of dishes from which to choose."

  • "A quick early dinner before evening concert at Four Arts. Grandmother and I had sides and appetizers. My adult son had full appetizer and entree selections. We shared the chickpea fries since we were all curious. The dining room is gorgeous, the table well-appointed, and our server Curtis was friendly and attentive. Appetizers were delicious (escargot a la greque, octopus salad, and moules velouté). My son was not keen on the red risotto; too soupy and rich without depth. Wine selections by the glass were perfect and reasonably priced. We finished in great time for our next event. Valet service was a bit slow for 7 pm. Will definitely return for a less hurried experience: "Cafe Boulud" should be a destination event by itself."

  • "This was an especially memorable meal. I really enjoy thoughtful wine pairings with especially good wines, which are not always available by the glass. However, they were here. The menu was very appealing and well executed. The wait staff coordinated very well with the kitchen, making sure that the wine appeared before the course to avoid cold food and I had whatever time I wanted between courses. All of the courses were very good and a couple were outstanding. My main waitress was especially gracious, attentive and effective in coordinating my meal. The menu is not quite as ambitious as Daniel in NYC which I think is very appropriate to both the setting and the clientele. It was one of the highlights of my time in Florida."

  • "This was our second time at Cafe Boulud and we enjoyed it as much as our first experience there. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing The fixed price dinner, at $45 is a bargain. Each course is beautifully presented and delicious. All four of our party were impressed and happy. Thank you"

  • "Everything served to us was excellent and in some cases quite special. We were a group of four and we all tried each other's dishes and all were wonderful. I would recommend this for a special evening meant to impress whomever you are taking to dinner. We enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an impressive evening and is not too worried about the cost."

  • "Whether you are a resident or a tourist, Cafe Boulud should be on the top of your dining list. This is a place to savor a delicious, leisurely lunch or dinner in gorgeous surroundings. It is not for an eat and run meal!"

  • "The 3 Michelin starred great Chef Daniel Boulud created this oasis of haute cuisine in Palm Beach proper, located inside the lovely Brazilian Court hotel. Put simply, one will not find a better meal anywhere in Palm Beach county. It's virtual perfection!"

  • "Ambience was excellent and service was at a high level. We were treated very nicely. Food itself was good but not what we would consider a standout, given the reputation of Boulud restaurants."
