It was a slower night, there were plenty of servers to give excellent service and they were all over our table however seemed to lack communication amongst themselves. Once we ordered the food came out very well timed and everything was delicious heirloom salad was incredible as was the capellini, my husband thoroughly enjoyed their take on a Caesar salad and the Waygu steak. Great options for a vegetarian and meat lover. The food quickly made us forget the rocky start, we enjoyed every delectible bite. The French Martini generous in size lasted the entire dinner. My tuna sashimi appetizer was full of flavors ginger, lemon, wasabi and pepper with the most delicious salad dressing. I opted for the appetizer portion of the grilled octopus and prawn dish with mushroom and pea risotto so I would have room for dessert so perfectly prepared with each item intense and individual in taste. The waiter from Greece was efficient friendly and not obsequious. The entire staff is professional and really know how to serve properly. Dessert was beautifully presented with a platter of tiny treats. My Benedict Boulud had a hard cooked fried egg, and when I inquired as to whether this is the way it's usually served, our waiter assured me it was. That surprises me. If you're going to feature a dish as a prix fixe "special" it should measure up to anything else on the menu, a la carte or otherwise. The food is delicious, you have a good selection of dishes for each course, and the service is lovely. However, you have to ask for the prix fixe menu - it is not given to you. Happy hour at the bar is from 4-7:30, when drinks are half price (not sure if that is every night or not). We have also been there on a Saturday night (last year), which was less satisfactory. The table we were given looked into the bushes, the service wasn't as good, and the prices were about twice as much.
