Daniel Boulud isn't often here in person, but his Palm Beach Chef does him proud. The restaurant is charming inside (wonderful colorful art) and outside (lush courtyard); the menu ingredients are superlative and wonderfully prepared; the service is friendly without being intrusive. I love this place.

  • Matched the Buildup -- Terrific

We enjoyed a great anniversary dinner at Cafe Boulud. From start to finish it was relaxed elegance -- wonderful good and service, lovely dining atmostphere. Foodie wife enjoyed multiple apps (instead of a full dinner), including a shrimp risotto, lobster and a wonderful beet and burrata salad. I went the more traditional route -- foie gras appetizer which was marvelous, and a Dover Sole prepared tableside that was perfectly prepared. Try the chocolate souffle for dessert. Strangely enough, the two couples at the next table were whining noisily about their service which, I think, one can chalk up to the difference between eating and dining. We had none of that...all perfect...and it didn't detract one bit from a terrific experience.

  • Not as good as last time..

The food wasn't as good as lady months - it was then amazing, every mouthful of every course as was the martini. Just wasn't as good this time- fish was over cooked and dry, martini too acidic but overall still good and staff excellent, friendly and attentive.

The menu was somewhat confusing. The food was fair, not bad. The plates seemed to be right off of a runway in Milan, but lack real flavor and substance. Service was poor and snobby (not sure why). We ask for bread 3 times in a 15 minute period and did not receive it until well after our orders were placed. The ambiance was beautiful. However, all in all, we were truly disappointed.

There are new wonderful additions to the Fall menu, whig I had on the first night of the new menu. The items are influenced by french colonial "indochine" dishes. I am reminded of one of my old my favorite restaurants in Cambridge, which was "The elephant walk" which had a dual menu for french classics and Cambodian dishes as well. The new dished are delight fro those trying to eat healthy as they include steamed dishes with incredibly flavorful broth-bases sauces.

We stayed at the Brazilian Court Hotel for a week and of course went to Cafe Boulud few times. I want to give them five stars all the way, all the staff was very professional, giving a lot of attention to the customer. The waiter and/or sommelier, Imre, was impressive. Every meal that we tried were all amazing. Thank you for making this stay special! We'll be back!

    Dined on 9/28/2014
This is, in my opinion, the only truly classy place in Palm Beach! The food is by far the best, and the menu changes constantly. Food presentation is art here. Friendly and quiet it's one of the few places where you can have an actual conversation with friends, or feel romantic, if alone with your partner. The service is impeccable, though occasionally you hear the odd rude person asking for a discount or complaining about something out loud, and the wait staff are calm and always obliging. Thank you!

All around nice and classy dining experience. Service was very good and attentive as expected for a high end dining establishment. One disappointment on the well selected wine list: no sweet wine from the King of sweet wines - Kracher from Austria. That was a setback.

Cafe Boulud's branch in Palm Beach merits the buzz. Beautifully presented food, imaginatively prepared and delicious, attentive yet discrete service, and a marvelous wine list (with plenty of excellent choices, "sixty below sixty") make for a memorable evening. As might be expected, the fish entrees were extraordinary; so was the dessert. Well worth a visit.

Great service, ambiance and food. Slightly pricy so the Flavor of Palm Beach 3-course menu for $35 was a wonderful opportunity to go. The main dish of mussels was quite small and I was not impressed with the dessert plate but everything else was really nice. We sat outside on the closed off patio with A/C. The A/C was turned on pretty high so I was happy that I was wearing a long-sleeve blouse.

This upscale restaurant is part of the Brazilian Court Hotel situated on Palm Beach Island in the middle of quiet, wealthy neighborhood. Their menu focuses on seasonal ingredients, curated by type of cuisine with 4 different sections each dedicated to a different region, preparation, or type of cuisine. Their cocktail and wine menu is notable, and beverages are expertly mixed and delicious. The food was really beautifully prepared focused on simple flavors and care for the ingredients. Wild and unexpected game was also on the menu, which I hope to try next time I return.

Café Boulud is an establishment nestled in one of the most beautiful historic hotels in palm beach. The food speaks for itself and stands up with the very best restaurants in the country. What makes this one of the best places I have ever eaten and the reason I constantly return is the staff; they are superbly qualified and attentive but do it in such an unpretentious way that you feel very comfortable even if out of your depth particularly with the amazing sommelier. The wine selections are great and the unassuming advice given simply serves to make it one of the best nights you will have in Palm Beach. A definite night out!

Went to in the past for both lunch & dinner and the results have usually been good. This time we went for Price Fixe lunch. we were disappointed on a number of levels. Beet tartar appetizer had no spark. OK but not exciting. Salad was pedestrian (plain ice berg tastleless lettuce). 2 of us had the Lamb Burger which was overcooked and tasted like heated mush. Moules Frite/ mussels & sausage was acceptable. Chocolate breadpudding & Panacotte sorbet was excellent.I ordered a double expresso. It arrived cold 7 tastless. Its hard to find good expresso out of Italy & I should have known better. When I complained and asked for regular coffee, it didn't arrive until the server asked how I liked it she was shocked when I said that it never came.
