Cafe Boulud - Four Seasons Hotel TorontoSome of the best food in TorontoCafé Boulud after a bit of a rough patch now has some of the best food in Toronto with friendly professional service to match.10/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThe waiter was very attentative,The waiter was very attentative, prompt and disnt forget to fill up my special request for almond milk with my coffee. We went there just before an appointment at the spa upstairs and the waiter made sure we were not going to be late, despite being stuck in traffic and running late for reservation. All the staff was friendly, the food was great. I would definitely come back with family, mom, girlfriends... Was really a great little spot.7/4/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous sauces, great menu,Fabulous sauces, great menu, all-star cooking and presentation, and personal service.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMNot to missThis beautiful restaurant is located in the magnificent and new Four Seasons Hotel in Toronto.
We enjoyed dinner with an excellent risotto with black truffles , delicious and delicate ravioli, and more. The service was impeccable. I commend the manager for training the staff so well.
I loved the lively atmosphere and the beautiful, relaxed decor.6/4/2013 12:00:00 AMSpectacular! One of the best fresh cuisines i'd ever had in Toronto! From the wine list, appetizer, first, second and dessert all were amazing. Service was excellent coupled with nice ambience! Highly recommended5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMSpecial mentionService and attention was impeccable. My husband accidently dropped his napkin and the waitress was immediately there with a fresh one. First time ever this has happened to us. I injured my toe on the washroom door and the staff were very discreet, attentive and efficient to get me a band-aid. Well done.5/18/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply superb!A delightful restaurant with a cool ambiance. Excellent quality selections and exquisite flavours. Hazelnut Gianduja with limoncello sorbet was everything I had imagined it would be and more! I recommend this restaurant and look forward to dining there again soon.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMAvant-garde cuisineI love the unpretentious vibe of this restaurant. I would definitely return to try more dishes and already recommended this restaurant to friends and family. I had the B.C. Black Cod Persillade (loved the parsley broth) which was amazing. The two appetizers that we shared [seared Albacore Tuna and Octopus á la Plancha) was an absolute hit. Service was excellent and overall the food was affordable.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMThe overall experience, foodThe overall experience, food and service was AMAZING! Would definitely go there again.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMall so flavourfulthe food was so flavourful and the portions perfect...not so much that you were full, but it encourages you to try more, and therefore, it engages the diner's palate more. I went especially for a repeat on the grilles octopus with marcona almonds that I had loved in New York...there was an absence of the Jerez vinegar in the Toronto Boulud..the only disappointment.. service was attentive and helpful throughout. Lots of business men as it is in the Yorkville district, but not exclusively so. I would really recommend it for those tired of the huge plates of pasta, or the overly small plates of Tapas. Truly delicious!5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent meal and service.Excellent meal and service. Well chosen wine pairing with each course. Simply outstanding.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat restaurantThe Boulud restaurant is new to the city and is first class. The chef's presentations are really something to talk about.
This was our first time and we will go again.
Waiters were intentive, friendly and most helpful in explaining all the food on the menu and also recommended wine which would go well with the meal.
A pleasant experience - from the check in to the end!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat food and serviceI celebrated Mother's Day Brunch at cafe Bolud. The food service and ambience all great I was especially impressed as it was a very busy day - but the service never falters. Also - restaurants tend to do short fixed menus for these occasions that aim to keep the table turning - the food was great and a great selection (I especially liked the Mediterranean themed dishes). I will definitely go back5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA great dining experienceIt was my second time to Cafe Boulud and once again I was very pleased with my evening. The food is good (as it should be at the Four Seasons), but what really sets it apart is the level of service. From the hostess to the sommelier, everyone provided exceptional service. It was attentive when required, but not hovering and notable for the lack of pretension. My only complaint with the restaurant is the wine list. I would like to see more wines in the $70 to $100 range. It's possible to achieve this even at a fine dining restaurant. Scaramouche is a case in point. Besides that, everything was perfect. We will definitely be back.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMHonest FoodI love how the food is prepared. Simple and Honest. Nothing pretentious to make fancy and impress. Delicious and well balanced plate. This restaurant is great for special occasions or simply to unwind and be away from the dense crowd of the city. I would recommend the Cumbrae Beef Duo and the Terrine.
Service was excellent. Knowing you're in the 4 Seasons Hotel, how can service go wrong.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat dinnerI enjoyed the atmosphere very much and the service was great. the food was outstanding and I would love to come visit again!5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing !I treated my family to dinner at Cafe Boulud following a special occasion. Everything was perfect - the staff outstanding, the food amazing both in taste and visual! What a treat!5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent meal. GrapefruitExcellent meal. Grapefruit grive was an interesting and delciious dessert. Would definitely recommend and reorder it.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThis resto has received someThis resto has received some bad press which based on our evening is entirely unjustified. Not as good as the NYC location but still quite good. Assured food well presented, effective and unobtrusive staff. Appropriate for personal or professional get-togethers. Toronto needs more restaurants like this.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMDaniel Boulud has a winner in TONot every restaurant opened by a celebrity chef is a winner. But Daniel Boulud has done a wonderful job here. I think it all starts with the staff he has put in place as I'm sure he is not there on a regular basis. Great job from the front and back of the house. We will be back!2/4/2013 12:00:00 AM4seasonsDaniel Boulud has taken toronto to a new level. Quality product and well trained talent make this restaurant superb.2/4/2013 12:00:00 AM
