The soy bacon cheeseburger (get it on toast! not the bun!) can't be beat. It's decadent and delicious. I also like the brunch items--especially the tofu 'eggs' benedict. I crave the food here.

I loved the food, and they had a good Belgian Stout.The food is organic and vegetarian. We were not rushed, even though there were people waiting. Everything was delicious. I have also had the live raw nachoes and a soup of the day here before and they were all delicious as well. The service is a bit slow but the waitress was very nice and took pictures of my group and I. It's both imaginative and comforting all at the same time. The main restaurant in Chelsea has more of a special feel about it, but the food at the Cafe is equally good, if a little less fancy. While I was worried that tofu can be tough and chewy, I decided to have the pistachio crusted tofu anyway. It actually melted in my mouth! Other members at my table had the pasta alfredo, also amazing, and the vegetable lasagne. Everyone was more than happy with their meal. My husband, however, had the vegetable platter, and found it to be a bit bland... but then again, look what he picked! For dessert we shared the chocolate mousse pie... YUM! and a slice of the lemon cake. The lemon cake was a bit dry and lacked a lemon taste. That was our only disappointment. Couldn't believe pesto could be so great without cheese, and that the dipping sauces were as amazing as they tasted. The only small down side was that the menu was a bit too creative for my 9-year old's taste buds (he had cheese-less lasagna). But overall, a gem for vegetarians and meat-eaters alike!
