I visited Cafe Antonio for the
second time this weekend. The first experience was not very good but we gave them a second chance. We waited a long time for a table. They do not have a large area to wait or seating while waiting. The service was average but the food was below average. They served scallops with my fish entree that appeared to be boiled and raw. I sent them back to be cooked longer. When they returned they looked like they were microwaved. We will not come back. There are much better BYOBs in Newtown."

What a great place! We were really
impressed by the service here, and the food. Diego, our server, prompt professional and delivered a well paced meal."

I tried the Baramundi, it was
incredible, thanks 'Elias' for the recommendation. I have never had a disappointing meal at this establishment, keep up the good work."

This was our first time at Cafe
Antonio and we will be back. The service was impeccable. Warm fresh bread was brought to our table. We shared the special stuffed mushrooms/stuffed shrimp appetizer which was excellent. I had the basic grilled chicken with fresh bruschetta and broccoli rape. It was done perfectly and the portion was huge. My husband had the Chicken Scarpariello which was also a large portion. Our only complaint is that the appetizer we chose from the specials that day took FOREVER to come out. It took 45 minutes to get our appetizer. If it's on the specials it should be practically ready to go. Luckily we had bread and salad to fill us up but, by the time we ate the appetizer we were not hungry for our main entree."

I had a cup of the soup of the
day, which was some sort of Creole soup. It was fabulous! Ordered the linguine with clams in a white wine sauce. This was where the experience became a little lackluster. The linguine came out with about six clams in the shell and a bunch of clam meat (the sort that comes in the canned clam chowder soup) piled high onto the pasta. I asked the waitress if this was meat from a giant clam, and she laughed (thinking I was joking) and said that it was just chopped meat from clams that the chef had taken out of the shell because they took up to much room in the bowl. I was skeptical, so although I had a bite or two of the chopped clam meat, most was left in the bowl. The pasta, however, was very good."

We have visited Cafe Antonio
umpteen time, and have never been disappointed. The food is consistently outstanding; as is the service and the atmosphere. You feel welcomed from the moment you arrive, til the time you leave, and you will be satisfied."

We always enjoy Cafe Antonio's.
They made valentines day very special with all their little touches. Everyone is very friendly. The owners are always around and greeting everyone and making sure your dining experience is just right. The food is always delicious."

It was date night and this was the
perfect place. Both of our chicken dishes were delicious. The portions were a nice size, I had plenty to take home for leftovers, The service was also very good. Nice neighborhood restaurant. We will back."

Cannot say how much we enjoy this

Amazing Italian food every time we

My wife and I and 2 other couples
went here for New Years Eve dinner. This was our second or third trip here. The food selection was a limited New Years Eve Menu, and by the time we got served they were out of 2 of the selections 3 people in our party were going to select. . We asked the waitress if we could order something off menu and she and the cook allowed us to do that for what we asked to have.. The food was very good and the portions were quite large. It was a little pricey but I guess that is what you have to expect on New Years Eve.. I would go back but probably not on New Years Eve. Most of the things on the menu I would have liked to try were not available on their limited menu."

You are missing out if you are in
the Yardley/Morrisville area and have not tasted the food at Cafe Antonio's. The service and food are great. Their catered food is excellent too. I use them for catering and had parties at the restaurnant. I always get compliments. We dining alone with my wife we look forward to their specials. Love the place!"

For the restaurant to be so empty,
the service was extremely slow. Good food"

We have been going here for years.
It's always very good to eat at the restaurant, but we do a lot more take out then eat in."
Dined on 10/20/2013
The food was very good, as always.
I was MOST impressed with our waiter. As he was pulling the cork on the wine that I had brought, the cork broke - twice. Without hesitation, he took the 20 year old bottle to the kitchen and expertly decanted it and returned the carafe to the table. Attentive service. Excellent choice for dinner and it is a bonus that it is BYOB, so you can bring that nice wine and have it treated expertly."

This is a good local place for
reliably good food. Anthony/Fran (owners) do a great job, very attentive to details...always engaged in the Business, and it shows."

Pricing has increased over the
years to a point that this restaurant is to costly to eat at."

The food is always good at Cafe
Antonio. Never had a bad meal there. I love that it is BYOB. I like to sit in the front room with all the windows, nice atmosphere."

We were introduced to Cafe
Antonios by good friends of ours and are so glad! Service is outstanding, food is authentic - homemade pasta daily! Cannot get any better! Portions are huge - which are great as it then lasts a few days (and the Vodka Rigatoni is better after the 2nd day!). The fact it's a BYOB is awesome. Decor is very nice, with quiet 2 person tables by the window."
Dined on 8/24/2013
The level of service and meal
preparation continues to impress my family! We enjoy the relaxing atmosphere."

I took my two nieces (ages 13 &
18) to Cafe Antonio to celebrate very special school achievements. It was their first dining experience and I was a bit concerned about the younger one's limited food 'likes'. The menu was plentiful and she found several selections which interested her. My guess is that the owner/manager recognized that it was a celebratory night for us and to our surprise, he made us a special appetizer which was delicious. The waiter was very helpful when we inquired about various dishes Overall, both nieces loved the place, the food, and the ambiance (the harp player added a nice touch to the dining experience). Thanks to Cafe Antonio, I was able to provide both nieces with a memorable experience."

This was our first visit to Cafe
Antonio, we were a party of 4 adults. It was highly recommended. We were pleasantly surprised by the interior, it was really nice. The food was excellent. Our service was just awful. We had a 6:30 p.m. reservation and did not get our dinner until a little after 8 p.m. When we asked our server what happened to him, he told he was taking care of a large party. What? Are you kidding me? I emailed Cafe Antonio the day after our dinner to let them know about our service and the auto response email said they would get back to me, they didn't. We left the Cafe a little after 9 p.m. and we didn't even have dessert! I'm not sure that I want to try them again since they didn't even bother to email back."

Been here several times and
recommend for good consistent Itailian-American food. Large and varied menu. The chef pays attention to detail. It's a BYOB. So, the price is very reasonable. Service is attentive an knowledgeable. If you live in the are this can be a reliable regular."

unusually slow despite it was not busy. ?????"

My husband had the Fra-Diavolo,
which he said was superb and spicy, as noted. I had the Spaghetti Bolognese. It was some of the best meat sauce I have had out in a long time."
Dined on 6/20/2013
My family and I have dined at Cafe
Antonio many times over the years. The food is always great and it is a plus that it is a byob restaurant. We have celebrated many special occasions at CA because of the atmosphere and the consistent quality of the food and the service."

On a recommendation, made
reservations via OT on a trip in the area. We arrived ~20 mins early but no worries and were seated right away on a FRiday evening. Service was friendly, quick, attentive and efficient. Audrey (the server) was very friendly and knowledgable. We had the Veal Sorrento and the Seafood Pasta Purses and both were phenomenal! Both came with hot homemade bread and salad. Great value for the money and they even take requests (I asked for pappardelle instead of capellini and they made it resh for me). Will return soon!"
Dined on 6/1/2013
The food was outstanding and the
service was the same. I go there often as I can, and just can't seem to leave empty handed."
Dined on 5/22/2013
Exceptional Italian selections.
Everything is homemade, including the pasta and unbelievable crepe desserts. Not like any other Italian restaurant you've been to. If you are not nearby it is worth driving a distance to try Cafe Antonio."
