"Hard to park, but food was good. Went for Pasadena Restaurant week, but their lunch menu for the special event was a bit limited. So that was kind of a let down. However, what I did get from the menu was tasty. The burger however was ordered with no cheese and came with cheese. Ordered medium and came out well done. I think they literally took the burger that had cheese on it, scraped it off, and re-fired the same piece of meat. I could be wrong... but everyone else at the table liked their food."

"Everything here was delicious. I came with a party of 10, and they all loved their dishes. Most of them had the ravioli of the day. I had the artichoke and a margherita pizza. It was just delicious. Another friend had some sort of blanco vegetable pizza of the day and that was good too, although I prefer sauce on mine. The house bread was addicting. We had a lot of baskets. The staff were also quite attentive and friendly. There is validated parking, always a plus."

"I usually go here for a business lunch and it is quote good for that. Dinner on the patio was pleasant but not notable. The prices are not much different from Smitty's around the corner which is much better, with a more distinct menu. This was a good place to grab a quick bite before we attended the Pasadena Playhouse, but my sense is they either need to polish it up a bit or price more like a neighborhood restaurant than an upscale cafe. Wine selections need some work, especially at the per glass price, a little more creativity here would go a long way. No complaints, and service was good, just not memorable for the competitive Pasadena market at dinner."

"I chose this place because it had vegetarian friendly options and because it was open on Easter. I had never been here before or even driven by it for that matter, because I don't live in the pasadena area. I ordered the veggie burger and was very pleased with it, it was so yummy, and a perfect portion size for me. My family members also enjoyed their orders. Although, my father ordered the special ravioli and said he wished he was given a little more. Other than that, we were all satisfied with our meals. Service was great also. We had a reservation for 4:30 and were seated immediately. I would go here again."

"I have to retract my previous review. After I wrote it, the restaurant contacted me and indicated that they were sorry for the poor service; that is not what they are about. They invited us back and true to their word, they fixed everything. I decided to go again and this time I brought my parents for their anniversary. The food was fabulous, cooked as ordered and the service was great! Everyone was very impressed."

"Ok - thanks to Heather the Manager - she read our last review and asked us to return to try their spot again. We did and it was 180 degree turnaround - this time we sat outside - enjoyed the end of the week - attentive service - good food - very pleasant environment for an end of the week Friday evening - thanks to Cafe 140 for turning it around - we'll be back"
