The scallops were amazing. For the main course we tried the salmon and pork chop. The chop was huge and well prepared. The salmon was also cooked to perfection. The deserts were good, nothing special. One issue was we were not offered coffee or tea at the end. We almost always get the price-fixed dinner ($50) with your choice of soup/salad, entree and dessert. We had their delicious mushroom soup, duck and a souffle. My only comment would be that the duck should have been accompanied by a potato dish (their scalloped potatoes are to die for) or the little carrot souffles they used to serve. Quality of ingredients and preparation were both of the highest standard. Next is service. The entire staff was very informative, non-intrusive and knew every detail of the menu and the offerings from the wine cellar and bar. Ambiance is next and again top notch. Appointments were high quality and the view is also very enjoyable. Convenience; parking is plentiful and access to the restaurant is quick with good signage leading the way. The food was excellent. We both had the buffalo steak and it was outstanding and done perfectly. Service is impeccable, attentive without being overbearing. The staff is laid back and not intrusive, the accoustics are good so you can hear a conversation, the view of Arlington is great and the food was amazing. The Escargo appitizer was unusual and got our attention right away. The scallop was the best I have ever tasted and the Endive salad was a hit with my wife. The Buffalo tenderloin was delicious rare and well done. I am rather picky about green beans, especially when fresh and crispy. These were great. The bananas foster souffle was unique and impressive. The chochlate souffle was good but not attention grabbing. The Irish Cream brulle was smooth and the flavor just exploded. Their regular service is now priced as their special occasion, like Valantine's Day, but their main portions are getting smaller. A very nice place, but priced above its value. Very friendly. Great for a romantic dinner. Loved the way they were not always near the the table which kind of made the place feel private.
