  • "I think this restaurant is fantastic. The food is excellent, the service is great and you can carry on a conversation with the people you are dining with. You are on the ninth floor so you see the scenic view of Six Flags, the Texas Rangers Stadium and the Cowboys Stadium. It is not inexpensive but I also think that it is priced reasonably for outstanding food choices. I would eat here every day if I could :)"

  • "Went for my wife's birthday. They had a table for us against the widow facing west. So we were treated to watching the sun set. The food is outstanding, the service is very good and the waiter was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and gave great suggestions."

  • "This was our first time dining at Cacharel and we loved it. My husband's Aunt& Uncle were visiting from Philadelphia and we wanted to take them somewhere special......we hit the nail right on the head! We all loved the food, the ambiance and the view. The wait staff was very informative and were quick to give suggestions. We will definitely go back for a special occasion."

  • "Selected Cacharel for Valentines dinner with wife, over several choices in Dallas. Have dined at Cacharel many times over the last 6 to 8 years and have always been pleased. This night was much different. Service was average at best; inattentive. Food appeared to have been prepared significantly in advance. It will be hard to go back."

  • "When I was planning my valentine date with my wife I used google to find a five star restaurant. In the past we had to drive to Dallas to find a restaurant of the quality I wanted. When Cacharel popped up I was intrigued. I made reservations & crossed my fingers. We had a meal & night to remember. New York & Chicago do not have a better restaurant than Cacharel! Highly recommend for anyone who cares about fine dining."

  • "I loved the view! Restaurant had a cozy romantic feel to it. Food was excellent specifically the pecan crusted chicken loved the texture and perfect tenderness it had! Dessert was magnificently delicious. The only thing I wasn't completely satisfied was that our waiter seem to neglect us over all the others. Everyone would get refills and get checked on constantly I felt that it may have been because we were't white like everyone else I don't like to jump to conclusions but that's the way it felt. The restaurant was pretty empty and most servers were just standing around so it doesn't explain why we we weren't treated the same as everyone else."

  • "My wife and I come here every Valentine's Day as the atmosphere, view, service and food is excellent. We had lobster bisque and Belgium Endive, beef tenderloin done to perfection and Bailey's Irish Cream creme brulee and chocolate souffle. We could overlook Ft Worth and Arlington viewed from our window table and listened to classical guitar for entertainment. Wonderful!"

  • "I ordered the Salmon and corn risotto and my fiancé ordered the seak without any sides . The Salmon was under seasoned and the risotto was very watery, but he said the seak was welled seasoned. The Appetizers were good we ordered salads. For dessert I recommend the cheese cake and would avoid the bananas foster it was not a traditional one (more of a suouffle) and I didn't like it at all. But they were nice enough to accommodated a special request for strawberry sauce instead of raspberry for the cheese cake. We were the last table to be seated before the kitchen closed so maybe that was the problem. Overall I think for the food quality it was a bit over priced. I am a foodie from New York so I have no problem paying $200+ for a good meal."

  • "It was the perfect place for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner. Excellent service, food and scenery."
    Dined on 2/14/2014
  • "I was so disappointed with Cacharel considering I have been there before and think it's the classiest, nicest, most romantic place in Arlington. Valentine's Day was a very busy time for them and they just couldn't keep up with the amount of people that came for a romantic evening. I had reservations for 9, was there at 9 and then waited until 9:30 to be seated. I was not the only one that had to wait even though they also had reservations. Far be it for me to tell a restaurant what a reservation is for, but waiting a half hour when I was on time and had a reservation is just plain unacceptable. The menu was also changed especially for Valentine's Day which gave you literally one choice for dinner and that was 75 dollars."

  • "Food was excellent, view was nice, service dis-organized. Priced at a great value for the quality of the meal. Love the menu set up, specific choices, 4 entree's, abundant appetizers and excellent desserts, based on that nights offerings, menu changes offerings ."

  • "Cacharel's Valentine's set menu was a dis appointment. I think the price is too much for the food selection that you are getting. A three course meal with chicken as a main entree for $75 is just rediculous!. I can go to a steakhouse and not feel robbed or taken after a meal like that. When I called to request something the guy answering the phone for the restaurant is very rude and unaccommodating. And you call this restaurant fine dining?"

  • "My and wife and I choose to dine here at least twice a year for the past 10 years, usually for her birthday and personal celebrations. Service was horrible and the food average. Their website didn't mention valentines menu, I was ready to enjoy a ribeye and shrimp cocktail but had to settle for tenderloin and salad for money. We saw our waiter 4 times during the whole 1:45 minute process, offered us more bread after salad which we never got, our tea and water went dry and 30 minutes went by before being refilled, never offered us wine, just left the wine menu on the table the entire meal, 45 minutes after finishing meal until our pre ordered dessert arrived. Not near the service typically received here, food was average as well."

  • "Food was very salty this time...unusual. Had the lobster bisque and the beef tenderloin. The salt interfered with the flavor of the food. Excellent choices in each category. Skimpy serving on the ceasar salad....why? Beef tenderloin exceptionally tender. Hostess very nice and helpful and handled a busy night well. Took three requests to get bread, then it was cold."

  • "Food was great but service was too slow. Took too long to get our drinks and it was just slow in general. There was too many people and not enough staff."

  • "Extraordinary service- Individually and collectively this group is in synch; which makes for a memorable experience for discrete diners. The quality of cuisine is "looked forward" to. Proud to have Cacharel here in Arlington."

  • "Food very good. Had 7pm reservations for 4, sat at 7:15. No napkins on table, 3 wine glasses. Waiter passed by about 10 minutes later asked if we wanted cocktails, said no, wine list please. 7:45 got wine list and basket of bread. Still no napkins, and discovered no butter on table. Busses gave us some from other table. About 8, we ordered 2 bottles of wine asked for both to be opened, only one was. Fixed menu at $75 per head,3 courses. Again, food good, ordered 3rd bottle of wine, took 20 mins to get to table. Asked for bill about 9:30, finally got it 15 mins later. It was wrong, charged for 5 meals. Waiter took cards back, said he would credit cc back and re charge. Finally got corrected bill at 10ish. Called visa still double charged"

  • "It was the perfect place to celebrate our 22nd Wedding Anniversary. It was small, quaint and very nice. The service was excellent and the food was to die for. It was a bit pricey but for everything we got it was well worth every penny. I highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "While I wasn't that impressed with the rib eye, the buffalo was really good. Their chicken wrapped in pecans was absolutely terrific. Side dishes were better here than at a lot of the top dfw restaurants. I would recommend and will come back."

  • "I had lunch here and the dining experience was excellent! The food quality was less than expected and was nothing fabulous but the service was excellent. Professional crowd at lunch with plenty of quaint seating. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a romantic dinner but don't expect outstanding cuisine. Typical banquet style offerings."

  • "The food is always excellent, as is the service. The ambiance is nice and the vantage point is a plus. A special nod to the chef for the pork loin dish that my wife had it was tender, juicy, and flavorful. We also love the chocolate souffle for dessert - it's to die for!"

  • "My husband had never been to this hidden gem. So when it was my turn to arrange "date night" I knew we had to try this. It had been several years since my last visit. But everything was as wonderful as I remembered. Needless to say we will be back soon."

  • "The minute you walk in, you hear the beautiful music coming from the live guitarist in the middle of the room. As they walk you to your table, the staff begins an outstanding and memorable dining experience. Every server in the restaurant is pretty much a sommelier. They not only know exactly how the food is made, but know everything that needs to be known about wines and how to pair them with your meal. The food quality and taste is always superb. You know that the Chef and his staff are carefully crafting your meal and personalizing it just for you. The desserts are incredible. Not once have we gone there and left thinking "boy that was not worth it." The price for the three course meal is fair and within market. Make reservations!"

  • "I recently dined solo at Cacharel. I was given a table next to corner windows, so I had fabulous views both to the east and the south. Service (by Tom) was impeccable and made me feel very welcome. Tom selected an excellent glass of Malbec for me and gave me recommendations on the menu. The food at Cacharel is always excellent, and I always look forward to having one of their souffles for dessert. I highly recommend Cacharel for special occasions, or just to treat yourself to a fabulous meal."

  • "We celebrated my wife's birthday at her favorite restaurant, Cacharel. What a great evening. They seated us is just the right place, waiter was attentive but not hovering. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious and well prepared. We especially liked the one price complete dinner courses option. Would highly recommend this restaurant to those who appreciate excellent food and good service."

  • "I loved the ambiance, the service so personal, and the lovely choice of food on the menu. But the soup was cold and I was too embarrassed in the group to send it back! I will next time as I did not enjoy it. Overall delightful, I will go back."
