  • "The Queso dip was really good. My husband finished that off. We weren't very hungry so we got the shrimp appetizer and chicken quesadillia appetizer. They were the perfect size and so delicious! Band on the patio after we ate. It was great!"

  • "Had a great time at Cabo Wabo. Food was very good, we had chicken enchiladas and the shrimp ceviche. The shrimp was very light and refreshing with the right amount of citrus. Fantastic choice before our concert."

  • "We needed a place to watch the fights. $25 cover was decent. Reservation was great. Good was decent."

  • "Would have liked to been made aware of the $25 cover charge either when booking the table or when I called for information."

  • "I can't get enough of the chicken tortilla soup. It is the best I've had. Too it with a cocorita. Doesn't get better than that."

  • "This is apparently THE place for late night dining in Vegas. the place was packed at 10pm but our table was ready and we got to sit on the patio overlooking the Strip (in the day cooled by mist). Our server changed midway thru but both were nice, friendly and pretty fast considering how crowded the place was. Live band was good and added to the fun atmosphere. Food was all uniformly good although not great or special. Typical Mexican fare, large portions and cooked properly. We enjoyed the Cheese crisps, the Short Rib Enchiladas and the Chicken enchiladas. All were good. The Margaritas were excellent - large and strong. We had quite a good time - prices are high but not compared to others on the Strip."

  • "The food was very good & the drinks were delicious! Try the key lime martini!"

  • "Appetizers were large with plenty to share for a group of 4. Dinners were excellent, especially the shrimp. Margaritas were excellent."

  • "Had my daughters birthday party there and the food was mediocre but the staff and atmosphere was anice vibrant Vegas night."
    Dined on 6/20/2014
  • "Food was good but not great, and the portions are pretty small. Drinks are way overpriced. I love CW tequila but it's not worth a $42 pitcher of Margie's. Service is very good but there is better Mexican food in Vegas. The original in a Cabo puts this one to shame. Also a $20 cover for UFC with these drink prices is criminal."

  • "This is the best place for having a great meal on the strip. The outdoor patio rocks and the service was fantastic!"

  • "Loved the ceviche! Drinks were strong, but good. Staff was very attentive. "

  • "The waboritas were fabulous, but the price for such little food was insulting!"

  • "Everytime we come to Vegas we eat here. The frozen margaritas, the guacamole and the steak fajitas are the best!!! We literally order the same thing every time we visit. "

  • "Food was good for a Contemporary Mexican restaurant."

  • "With it being cinco de mayo, and being a Sammy Hagar fan my wife and I thought it would be the place to be. WRONG! First problem was there were 2 birthday parties going on in the small restaurant area. The staff decided to sit us in the middle of them. One was for a young child it felt like we were at Chuck E Cheese.THE worst part was our waitress, it seems she wanted to be part of the birthday party instead of taking care of customers. the margaritas we're good food decent but the staff was a joke. Las Vegas is not a place for children. One bright spot was the cashier it the the shower gift shop counter very friendly very helpful. "

  • "Went for a late afternoon meal on cinco de mayo. They had a beer special that day five for twenty one dollars. Other than that nothing else special for cinco de mayo. Had the fajitas for two for $36. More like for one anywhere else. Food was decent just not much of it. "

  • "Had a great breakfast on the patio... noise level makes it almost impossible to talk which could be a good thing or bad thing! Our waiter was beyond awesome! The make-your-own mimosas table side were delish! They give you the whole bottle of champagne and endless orange juice for $11.00! GOOD TIMES!"

  • "We had a very pleasant meal at Cabo Wabo. We went at around 10am for breakfast. The only hiccup we had was that we wanted to sit outside, and the restaurant said the reservation is for indoors, so we walked back and forth before the hostess sat us outside. Also, for whatever reason, Cabo Wabo cancelled our reservation after we already dined there, so I had to contact the restaurant to get the points for dinning there. That was a bit confusing, but not disastrous."

  • "Great reservation seating, we were early and our seats were waiting for us right where we requested. Excellent service by our waitress. We never had to wait for her to come by to order drinks."

  • "This is a Vegas gem, excellent in every way - food, service, and drink. The Mexican fare is delicious."

  • "I thought the food was overpriced and poor quality. The specialty drinks that we had tasted funny, my husband asked the waitress for her help she said and a quote (Sammy's rum taste like tequila) At the end of our meal to make matters worst the restaurant added a resort tax on the bill ,It's a free standing place on the strip"

  • "Great food... Great Service... Great times... We go there for the ceveche and the fish tacos. Only Cabo WaboTequilla in the margaritas. The outdoor dinning area is a great place to people watch (overlook the Las Vegas Strip at the Miracle Mile) . A piece of Cabo in the Las Vegas Desert."

  • "Food was mediocre at best. Sammy Hagar music cranked up ridiculously loud. I for one enjoy Mexican music at a pleasant volume. Do yourself a favor a skip this place, it is a waste of your dining time in Las Vegas!"

  • "I love this place, great ambiance, good food, lots of people watching, view of the Bellagio fountains, large portions."

  • "Having eaten many times at Cabo Wabo in Cabo san Lucas, I had high hopes for dinner at Cabo Wabo in Las Vegas. We arrived early, about 6:30 pm. Not many indoor customers yet. There was a crowd on the patio. It was quite windy, so several groups moved indoors; and other diners arrived. The place was fairly full by 7 pm. Service was very friendly and prompt. The menu has a nice variety. We had Sammy's Shrimp. It was good, but not quite up to par with the Cabo location. Chicken Tortilla soup was excellent and filling. The lobster enchiladas were okay, but not great. The carnitas were good. The best part, of course, was the Waboritas. We did not see anyone else drinking them, which is a shame; they are fantastic!"

  • "My boyfriend is a big Sammy Hagar fan so when I found out we were heading to Vegas and he had a restaurant there I made sure it was on our list of things to do. The staff was friendly but overall we were disappointed. We ordered chicken quesadillas since we had a big lunch thinking we could share the appetizer. There were TWO small pieces on a plate - that's it. $9.00 for that was not worth the price. They were tasty but that's about it. We were also drawn in (like many others as the waitress told us) by the fact that Sammy had a special rum-erator made on American Restoration which is also in Vegas. BUT that piece is not displayed in Vegas it's in Cabo San Lucas. :("

  • "Great food! Good value! Huge portions! This is one of my top two favorite restaurants in Vegas! I would definitely recommend it too everyone!!!!!"

  • "Made a reservation on open table. Arrived 5 minutes early, didn't get seated for 25 minutes though they seated several walk ups ahead of us. Seated and no waiter assigned... After long wait hostess took drink order.... Wait.. Wait... Finally snagged manager... He apologized... Took order again... Still no service.... Then a waiter tried to take order 3rd time... Took forever... Only consolation is manager took 30% off our check. Very much a " we are popular so we don't need you" feeling type of restaurant."

  • "Had a wonderful breakfast (Chilaquiles} with great service & enjoyed it so much we booked a reservation for the following day for lunch (lobster enchiladas) & enjoyed it very much too. A great spot to dine al fresco due to the location, but since it was a cooler day we chose to dine inside which was nice too. If you're an old rock & roller like me you will enjoy seeing the display of Sammy Hagar's guitars & gold/platinum records too."

  • "Delicious drinks, eat fantastic food, take in a view of the action on Vegas Strip. This is certainly the perfect place to take it all in. Sit back and relax with friends watch Fountains at Bellagio (across the street). When you order the Cabo Wabo drinks you keep the hurricane glass. My favorite Vegas souvenir."

  • "My husband and I decided to try the restaurant on a recent visit to Las Vegas. Excellent food, great server (even if he did get my husband's order wrong...he gave him the chance to get the right order but decided to eat what he brought and he gave my husband a "free" beer for the mistake)! We ordered a Sampler Platter and the Chicken Tostado Salad...everything was great!"

  • "Horrible experience - server was rude and extremely inattentive. Didn't offer to refill our $14 drinks even once, and we had to flag someone down to ask for the check after pushing the plates away 35 minutes earlier. Food was worse than the service - $9 Queso? It tasted like they opened a can of nacho cheese, poured water in it and microwaved it. The nachos had the same watery cheese product. The enchiladas had more lime juice in them than my margarita - same with the rice and beans. If you want good Mexican on the strip for the same price, try Diablo's at Monte Carlo. If you want to spend a couple extra dollars, try Javier's at the Aria or Taqueria Cañonita in the Venetian."

  • "We got a pitcher of margaritas and fajitas for two. A great combination. Our server was attentive. TV's had the football game going which kept us around long enough for dessert, which we don't usually order. The only drawback was the three gals at the front check in stand didn't even greet us or acknowledge that we were standing right in front of them. It literally took about two minutes for them to notice we were there and that was after I walked past them to see if there was somewhere else we were supposed to be checking in at. Everything after that was fine."

  • "Lots of fun, noisy, and average Mexican food. A bit pricey for Mexican food because you pay for the location and the drinks. We had a good time while watching the college bowl games. 11 of us cost $330 without tip and not everyone was eating a full meal."
