Cabernet Steakhouse is a Classic New York Style Steakhouse with an abundance of seafood. We have white table-cloth service in a lavish setting. We offer 5 Private and semi-private dining areas for every type of function. We also have a cigar bar and patio where we feature live entertainment Wednesday through Saturday. We literally could not say anything to the people across the table from us. It was impossible to have a conversation. This is an expensive restaurant and one would expect to have a relaxing meal. I had a petite filet that was perfectly cooked (medium rare) and it cut like a hot knife through butter and melted in my mouth! Did I mention that with amazing steaks there is no need for steak sauce of any kind. The fried lobster tails for appetizer where also amazing, my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our date night out at this one of kind restraunt"

  • "Dined here before, and it's always a great experience. Our server Blair was knowledgeable of the menu, entertaining, and had a great sense of humor. I felt like I was talking with a best friend. We told him we weren't in a big hurry and asked if that was okay. He said he would take care of us as long as we needed him. They have a 1/2 price wine list that had wines half off the regular price, and it was an extensive list. The sushi grade tuna appetizer was excellent. We all ordered the filet, Pittsburghed; cooked perfectly. Cream spinach & gratin potatoes also great. We had 2 bottles of wine from the1/2 price list. TIP: the prices on the list are the full price, not the 1/2 off price, and it's a great selection. So splurge without regret!!"

If you're looking for geat service and steak this is the place, also you must try banana foster. I could go on and on you must try it for yourself."

  • "We entertained a client here for dinner one night and a separate client for lunch the next day. Both experiences were excellent, and I'm sure I'll be back. I've had better steak, and that's the only reason I didn't give 5 stars; but that's not intended as a complaint. Cabernet's steaks are top quality. We had several delicious sides with dinner, the wine list is quite good, and the 20 yr old Tawny Port was wonderful finish after dinner. Lunch was nice with a varied menu with reasonably priced sandwiches, while still offering the higher end steaks and seafood. The blackened Ahi Ahi sandwich I had was very tasty and cooked to perfection. Service and atmosphere were excellent for business conversation. "

  • "Have been to Cabernet a number of times. Our waiter recommended the rock salt ribeye and it was the best steak I've ever tasted--in my life. Ordered the rock salt ribeye on 2 other occasions after that first try and it was not the same. One time it was extremely salty and undercooked--tasted like I got the bottom of the barrel ribeye. So we just went back this past weekend and ordered the bone in ribeye because I didn't want to take my chances on the rock salt. Bone in ribeye was amazing!!! I think the last two times I had the rock salt was just an unfortunate luck of the draw (maybe the chef was on vacation) but it was disappointing. The au gratin potatoes are the best and always amazing. Get the lobster tail app. So good!"

My wife had the Lobster scampi the sauce was very good and there was lobster in it than we expected. I had the prime rib. It was cooked perfectly. We had the bananas foster dessert prepared table side it was excellent. The next time we are in the area we will return."

Service was good but not up to the restaurants standard. Next time, as I normally do, I will order the new york strip and forget the fish in a steak house. Still a nice restaurant, just a bad night.."

  • "We've eaten at Cabernet several times and they are always rock-solid. They don't knock it out of the park in any one area but they are consistently good enough to keep us coming back. Their bar is a cigar bar (please note that in case you or your spouse abhor cigar smoke) which frequently hosts lounge singers and/or one-man entertainment. They have a good selection of Scotches (maybe 25 or 30?) and other whiskies as well as a strong wine selection. Appetizers: You have to try the Satay beef...excellent! We both ended up with a filet for dinner; my wife an 8 oz and myself the bone-in. Both were cooked to perfection and excellently prepared. Sides of creamy mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms, and haricots verts all great. No dessert."
