The food was great, the server was friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere was perfect for a celebration. My fried chicken was excellent and others at our table enjoyed small plate selections and the catfish dish. We were seated right next to a group of 10 20-something gals. As a former 20-something gal myself, I knew how loud it was apt to get, and asked if we could get another table. They accommodated our request for a more quiet table, which was lovely. The server was very personable and appropriately present; there when we needed her and nearby when we were good on our own. She was honest in her recommendations of what we might or might not want to try. We all got something different; me, pasta. Dad, rib eye. Stepmom, chicken.
