  We had some terrific food for a birthday celebration. The front desk needs work. We arrived for an 8:45 pm reservation - the lady at the front desk had left it for a few minutes - so a waitress filled in. There was some confusion as to who the next person in line was. The front desk lady came back - she did not have the confident, welcoming look required and was distracted - this is the most important job for connecting with a newcomer to the restaurant - the eye contact was just not there. All was resolved with an excellent waiter who knew how to serve. We had delicious avocado bruschetta, wonderful pastas (one with duck confit) and the desserts were outstanding. I'd made a good choice. My husband was delighted with his birthday dinner....More
