In order to have this status their pizza and dishes must adhere to certain preparation in honor and respect for tradition. This is the second one I have dined at and the pizza was amazing. Would highly recommend. Staff should tout this certification much like the place I went to in Colorado. They did not make such a big deal of it in Napa, but they should. I made reservations on OpenTable, but you definitely could just show up and snag a table. My server was super upbeat, friendly, and helpful. I was given a little bag of baked pizza crackers while I waited for my pizza. Based on my server's recommendation, I had their "award winning" porchetta, arugula & fresh pecorino cheese pizza. I liked the salty porchetta. The pizza was good, but it did not have a crispy crust. Apparently that is normal for the Neapolitan style pizza. It was definitely a fold and eat type of pie. I liked my lunch. And you can bring some home with you.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Place for Napolitan Style PizzaThis restaurant, located at Oxbow Public Market, turned out to be a nice surprise. We opted to sit outside on the balcony with a view of the parking lot, but the evening temperature was pleasant and perfect for outdoors. The napolitan style pizzas are a must here, lots of choices with fresh ingredients and chewy crust. The wait staff is young and fun, and we particularly enjoyed our waitress Tanya. Beware of the spicy olive oil which is optional with dinner, it can render a pizza inedible if you're too generous. The tiramisu in a jar was a deliciously creamy dessert and the afogato (espresso over ice cream) ended our meal and helped subdue some of the heat from our olive oil drizzled pizzas!4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMEssentially, the food is gourmetEssentially, the food is gourmet and the prices rival other local "fancy" restaurants. We all ordered pizza and each one of them was excellent. They have Italian beer by the pitcher, which is most unusual. The wine list is not large, but it is excellent with a good representation of Italian wines. We visited on Saturday night with everyone celebrating St. Patrick's Day. The service was absolutely Sterling. This is a great restaurant for Italian food and you will not be disappointed with your food, ambience or service.
