A word from Ca' Momi
We were born and raised in Italy and believe that when it comes to Italian food in the U.S., a lot has been lost in translation. We created our winery and our restaurant to pursue our passion for the true flavors of life. We believe the true flavors of authentic Italian cuisine are beautiful. Italian cuisine began with dishes made with few, simple ingredients (flavors) that were strong enough to stand on their own. In effort to capture them, we use select local organic, and Italian ingredients and prepare our dishes in strict accord with traditional regional recipes. Ca’ Momi is Italian for “House of Momi”, Stefano and co-owner Valentina’s family home in Veneto, Italy. The house was named in honor of “Momi dea Bionda”, who is legendary in the Veneto region for his fiery obsession with safeguarding his home. We believe Momi’s protective spirit is still watching our property. Our food, like our wine, is a celebration of his passions and his quest for the simple pleasures of life. Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "I have wanted to eat here for a long time, but each time I have come the wait has been long. This time Iwe arrived early and we each had a delicious and creative salad and shared some pizzas. I have never had pizzas that tasted so fresh. The food was exceptional. Now we see why it has been so crowded. Everyone loves the food!"

  • "We are regular diners at Ca' Momi's as it is one of our favorites! Good quality ingredients and consistently good authentic Italian food. The pizza is the best! The Gnudi is delicious! Everything we've tried has been great... including the fabulous pastries! The people are friendly and the service is good too."

  • "The pizzas are outstanding, fired in a wood oven. The salads are very good. The waitstaff is consistently friendly and attentive."

  • "What a find. We never explore that side of Napa & were so happy to find this restaurant. The food was freshly prepared & I loved the variety of items on the menu. The nose to tail slow cooked items were amazing! This restaurant has to be a stop on your next trip to Napa!"

  • "We had just traveled across the US to get to Napa Valley and needed a relaxing environment for dinner. Only a 5 minute walk from our hotel (River Terrace Inn), this place was perfect. Great food, great service, relaxed environment. The Carbonara pizza was perfect and for Napa had one of the better craft beer lists."

  • "Always good pie, visit about twice a month. Service good, but not spectacular. Outdoor seating nice and quiet - inside can get quite loud."

  • "I had the porcini pizza which was awesome and my friend had the pepper spaghetti....which was also awesome. And I completely understand about no changes or substitutions for the pizza, we sat next to a couple who were 80+ and wanted to share a pizza...one part cheese and one part with ham. I felt for them as they said they were on a budget, and really just wanted to share. The server was very nice and explained however I feel sometimes there should be an exception. Just a thought...."

  • "Loved the pizza. Wine list is meh, but the food is delicious. We've been a few times, and service is usually stellar, but this last time I can only assume they were short staffed. Our server seemed rushed and forgot a couple things. I would still have no problem recommending this to anyone. Good pie!"

  • "The wife and I stumbled into this restaurant and was blown away by the service and the staff at Co-Momi, we were walked to a table that was prepped for us after we booked our reservation on-line, The staff was ready with water as we sat and took our drink and appetizer order right away, The young lady was very knowledgeable in selecting a wine for us, the meal was spectacular and the patio was nice and warm as they sat us near the fire as we requested KUDOS to all"

  • "Surprisingly good authentic Italian wood-fired pizza, excellent green salad, wonderful pastries. Very well-trained and attentive servers. Ambiance is fine for groups, business meetings, friends, and families, but not at all romantic unless you sit outside, and then you're looking at a parking lot."

  • "Awesome gluten free/vegetarian pizzas! Was so excited to see GF/V on several menu items! Our group of five had great service and the pizzasa came out fast and all together! Delicious gluten free profiterales as well! Yum"

  • "Excited to go with all the accolades for authentic Italian food, however the food was bland. Had the sweetbreads, nothing particularly sweetbreadly about them. Also had the fried rice balls, no particular standout note(s) flavor-wise, just crunchy. For entrees had the prosciutto and mushroom pizza and the creamy spatzel with speck. The speck was gristly to the point we picked it out of the dish because it was so hard. The mushroom prosciutto pizza needed more sauce to balance out the saltiness of the prosciutto. There didn't seem to be much attention to putting the pizza together as there were portions with no mushrooms other areas were piled high. Sorry to say we would not recommend nor return, unfortunately a great disappointment."

  • "Really liked the Napa woodfired pizza! Had to see what an authentic one tasted like, and it was fantastic! The bakery also had fabulous cannolis (the chocolate-dipped one with ricotta, chocolate chips, and orange filling was phenomenal)."

  • "Love the food; the space, not so much. Fortunately came early to snag patio table which are bigger, because we ordered a lot of food and needed the room. One look at the menu convinced us Ca'Momi is the Real Thing: sweetbreads, baccala, liver! WOOHOO! Who needs another pizza when you have those beauties before you? But the oxtail penne was also a big winner. I'd skip the charcuterie/cheese plate, though, it was very skimpy/uninteresting. Crackerbread is killer, as are desserts. Would love to see Ca'Momi move to a better space. Sitting outside is best but an uninspiring view over the parking lot. Inside it's noisy with hundreds of people jostling by, ugh."

  • "Ca' Momi was our dinner choice last year after my wife and I were married. My wife is a napolitan pizza lover and loves this place. Service is excellent, what you would expect from a small town family restaurant. It is our anniversary spot for great pizza, amazing affogato and impeccable service."

  • "I think it's a bit lame and very un-customer service oriented to not allow the guests to customize their pizza. Really? It will ruin the authenticity of the recipe from Italy or wherever it came from. It's a pizza not your grandmother's 100 year-old lasagna recipe."

  • "We stumbled upon this restaurant on the internet based on the menu. We are so glad we did. Our party of 6 was seated promptly. The food was amazing any the ambiance was lively. Will eat here again the next time we are in Napa."

  • "The winter salad hard to beat, we all loved it, and also abundant. The gncchis were fisappoinging. The texture was too soft, not the redl thing for me. Seems like pizza is verh good there."

  • "The evening's Oxtail and Rigatoni melts in your mouth. Each bite followed a name of who would absolutely enjoy this dish. It's a little over one hour away from Sacramento and can hardly wait to return. The High School Jazz Band added the extra to this evening."

  • "We have become frequent diners at Ca Momi and the food is amazing....truly authentic Neopolitan cuisine. Wait staff is courteous and more than efficient. Food was amazing. One problem...though the outdoor heaters look really nice they are most ineffective. If the temperature drops it is like eating in an Ice Hotel. The outdoor space is certainly the most desirable but they need to evaluate and replace their heaters to uglier ones that actually generate and disperse heat! Our espressos we ordered literally cooled off within 2 minutes after arriving at the table and had to be replaced as well the pizzas cooled down significantly and the last 3 slices were cold by the time we got to them. Note: This will not stop us from going there again"

  • "My friends and I came to Napa for Truffle Fest and managed to snag a patio table at Ca' Momi by booking online with OpenTable. SO GREAT! We also happened to come during Napa Valley Restaurant Month, so when we were seated, our fantastic waiter told us about the Perigord Truffle Pizza special with a glass of Reserve Pinot Noir and tiramisu. Delicious and a great deal! We shared the pizza and also got the Insalata d'Inverno, which was delicious. I always stop by Ca' Momi when I'm in Oxbow."

  • "We tried several things on the menu because everything looked so good! And it all was! We loved the rigatoni with oxtail and of course the pizza was yummy. The wines by the carafe are simple but delicious. The service was super friendly and attentive. We are so happy to live so close because we will be back!"

  • "Not amazing but tasty, they have a big pizza selection to choose from. Wine list is their vineyard (which was pretty good) or Italian wines. Really like location in Oxbow market, great for people watching. Did not like that they do not have chili flakes for your pizza just really hot chili oil."

  • "A friend and I met for lunch and had reservations for 1:00.I have been here a few times and she had not. I had the Spätzle allo speck and it was soooo yummy, a little bit salty from the speck, but that was ok. My friend had the Rigatoni con coda alla vaccinara (oxtail) she said it was fall off the bone yummy! We tried the Arancini for an appetizer, it was ok, felt like it needed to be served with a dipping sauce, was kind of dry. For dessert, we each took home some Bignés, to die for!!"

  • "Resturant seriously lacked prompt service. Had to wait over ten minutes for initial service or acknowledgement from waiter even though there was only one other table occupied where we were sitting and had to ask twice for water. Menu was not clear, we thought we were ordering pasta and pizza was what arrived. Goood food tho, but lack of service overshadowed that."

  • "Food here is very very good. The menu has a few meat-free choices, but needs many more. Cooked mixed Greens are amazing, We bought another to take home! The roasted beet salad with orange, radicchio, and fennel knocked our socks off. The gluten-free pizza was very good and the veggie toppings we got were delicious too, but I would say it could have used a another minute in the high-heat pizza oven to get the gluten-free crust a bit more cooked. Ingredients are super fresh! Could use a little help with communication between the servers and the chefs, had to re-make several of our dishes because they kept coming out with meat or cheese on them. They gladly remade each dish quickly however. Hopefully they will be a bit more careful in future"

  • "A great authentic Italian Restaurant. Food was excellent and the outdoor ambiance was excellent. Cool evening but sitting near the fire one would never guess how chilly it was. Beyond the food, the service was excellent and very knowledgable about the menus. I travel for a living and eat out most of my days. Finding the sweet nice spots are a treasure and this is one treasure that I will visit on my next trip to Napa."

  • "What a great place to eat! The food is amazing. When they say that they are "Obsesively Italian" they are not lying, so do not ask for red pepper flakes, grated parm, or to modify a food item. This not Buger King. You do not get it you way. Instead you god it the way it was intended; authentic. So, grab the family, and go enjoy some truly great Italian good."

  • "My wife and I went for dinner and tried a little of everything (pasta, pizza, dessert, etc.). Everything was really good. If I lived in Napa I would go for lunch every day until I tried everything and then start again at the beginning."

  • "Came here for lunch after hearing how Oxbow Market has grown / improved over the past couple years. The reviews were definitely right! The marketplace was bustling, beautiful, and really popular. We followed our noses to the best smelling place and booked a reservation for lunch. Ca' Momi was great! Delicious food, lovely outdoor seating."

  • "It always is lame when the servers care more about gossiping than helping you, that's what we received for service. Some girl was helping us with nose ring and face piercing. That always gives me a big apatite , let me tell you. A few items we got were good but not excellent. The pasta my wife got was like home prego junk. The highlight really was the stand alone pastry stand. They did have excellent stuff."
