A word from Ca' Momi
We were born and raised in Italy, and believe that when it comes to Italian food in the U.S., a lot has been lost in translation. We created Ca' Momi to pursue our passion for the true flavors of life. Italian cuisine began with dishes made with few, simple ingredients that were strong enough to stand on their own. In effort to capture them, we use select local organic, and Italian ingredients and prepare our dishes in strict accord with traditional regional recipes.

Our name, Ca’ Momi, means “House of Momi” in Italian. Our name a tribute to “Momi dea Bionda”, a man who is legendary in the Veneto region of Italy for his fiery obsession with safeguarding his home. We believe Momi’s protective spirit watches over us in the kitchen!

I had dinner at Ca' Momi with my girlfriend on Saturday night of our Napa trip and the food was amazing ! we had the carpaccio alla cipriani , insalata spinaci & fragola, tagliatelle al ragu and margherita pizza and all were delicious one after the other . We were in Italian heaven . I have eaten margherita pizzas in Italy and Ca' Momi's was as good or better ! They import all the ingredients from Italy . We will definitely go back to Ca' Momi on our next Napa trip .

We always visit Ca'Momi when we visit Napa. They have an unusual menu and the food is very good. They are located in OxBow Market. Our server was new and needed to be better informed about the menu if you wanted to make some changes to a specific. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

We dined there on 9/5/14...National Cheese Pizza Day. The pizza was outstanding & the Neapolitan Margarita was very close in taste & texture to pizza I've eaten in Italy. We were seated inside, and, as our table was on a main aisle of the Oxbow Market, there was lots of foot traffic and noise. The outside patio was closed for a private party. Unfortunately, service was not up to par. Our waiter never got back to our table to check on us and I actually had to get up out of my chair to find someone to order another round of drinks from. It was nice that the manager comped those drinks, but service could be better. The food, however, was fantastic. We will return in the future and request seating on the outside patio.

Since discovering Ca' Momi last fall, it has quickly become our go-to spot when visiting Napa. Not only do you get to spend time at the lovely Oxbow Market, but the food and service at Ca' Momi are always flawless! Definitely don't miss their pizzas... their Margherita is a masterpiece, and I will forever dream of the Bianco, Rosso & Verde pie. Divine. For those who like bottarga, the Spaghetti alla Bottarga is DELICIOUS. Salty, fishy (in a good way), and the pasta was perfectly al dente. It's delicious with a kick of their homemade chili oil. Super spicy, but it really makes the bottarga shine. They also have their own wines, which are great. Highly recommend starting with the sparking... Buon appetito!

This was rare occasion where excellent service makes up for a disappointing dish. Please note, it was only the fried sweetbread that was heavy handed with salt. Once we told our awesome and attentive server, he immediately apologized and removed it from our bill. The Arancini (rice balls) were AMAZEBALLS!!! The Enferno pizza (gorgonzola/olives/some spicy cured meat) was delicious. The Gorgonzola was surprisingly mild and not over powering. The spaghetti in tomato/basil/capers sauce was slightly heavy on the salt, but didn't overwhelm the fresh ingredients from the sauce. Perhaps the chef used SUPER salty water to cook the pasta...or the chef smokes (chefs who smoke ruin the pallet and compensate by over salting foods).

Ca'Momi is just a very good overall, casual, affordable (for Napa) dining spot. It is located in the Oxbow Market (South End) and has grown over the years to take over the old Pica Pica central location. Everything on the menu really is done very well, you can't really go wrong with anything you select. The pizza's are outstanding (please don't try to change them, per policy) and if you see something you wish was different, just keep looking over the list, they have a ton of choices. Beer and wine menu is pretty good, plenty of choices. The seating is a bit different, being a part of Oxbow and all, but it's still a very nice atmosphere for a date, or a quick bite to eat if you are a tourist on the go.

As we don't eat cheese or meat, the true quality of a pizza gets the chance to shine through, for better or worse. I enjoyed the softer crust - it reminded me more of pita bread - but it's a shame when that's the only good thing on a pizza. The red sauce was very bland and didn't taste fresh. Worse, though, were the mushrooms. We ordered the Funghi pizza, and I have no problem with a single-topping pizza, but when your single topping tastes like it came from a can and is covered in condensation, that's a sign of a deeper issue. Don't let the meat and cheese fool you, real quality starts from the bottom up! Top cheeseless pizza on my list in Napa: Bistro Don Giovanni or Redd Wood. Best all around in wine country: Glen Ellen Star!

This may not be the most Romantic Restaurant in Napa since it is located in the Oxbow Complex, but it is reliably good, and we dine there frequently. The schiaciatta al lardo is exceptional and the lardo comes from Colonnata, near Cararra. The recipies are authentic. Our server was very good and notified us the kitchen was behind, very attentive and pleasant. The staff is excellent and everything is both authentic and delicious.

Ca' Momi is real Italian. The name means "house of Momi" and it's a California version of its counterpart in Italy. The food is perfectly prepared and elegantly served. The wine list combines the best of Italy and of the surrounding Napa Valley. It's an oasis in the bustling Oxbow Public Market where you can stop by for a perfectly made espresso or have a leisurely and delicious meal. You can also take home a package of their homemade pasta, a bottle of wine or olive oil or some Italian sweets. We'll be back!

This is part of a large market which makes indoor dining very noisy but we sat on the patio. The food is very good but they have this very strange rule about not allowing any condiments to be added to their dishes, citing "authenticity". My friend ask for parmesan cheese for her pasta and was told no. I come from the world where the customer is always right and feel this policy is obnoxious. Otherwise, food was good, fresh, and it was moderately priced for Napa.

This is NOT fine dining. Their web site doesn't come close to showing how you eat in front of hundreds of people strolling through a mall-like shopping area or outside in a limited area where you need outdoor heaters in the middle of July. The menu (they called authentic italian) was anything but...it include beef tounge, ox tails and liver & onions. We've eaten at some great restaurants in Napa Valley, but this wasn't one of them!

Food was very "different." Good Different. Much more authentic than most Italian joints. A great chance to try new dishes. Excellent authentic wood fired pizza. Portions were smaller than I expected. Not a bad thing though. Not an intimate location. Set inside a busy mercantile. Kids were running around and literally screaming two feet away from our table. (Rude parents who did not care....) I suggest eating out on patio instead of inside. Our server was very amateur. She did not seem trained. She did not know the menu very well. The House wine was great. A great value for $19/bottle. I recommend Ca' Momi as a place for a light small plate meal with good wine and good friends.

Another great meal at Ca'Momi - If you do not mind having your pizza their way then you are in for a treat. No substitutions but there are enough choices on the pizza menu that you should not have a problem. The goal is that you try it the way it was meant to be and it is well worth it. You will get lost in the flavor and it should bring you right to Italy…

Good food but not great. Helpful staff, however the kitchen sent out one of the pasta dishes that was ordered as an entree when others were having soup and salad. Also, the pizza menu is very strict. One person on our group asked for fresh tomatoes to be added to the mushroom and pancetta pizza. The manager came over to the table to inform us that that any of the toppings for pizzas shown on the menu can be deleted, however in no uncertain terms can you add a topping to one of the pizzas.

Ca' Momi serves the best pizza! We have dined there several times, traveling 25 miles to do so, and always look forward to our next visit. Their thin crust is extraordinary with a wide variety of complimentary toppings. They present an extensive menu with something to please everyone's taste. My favorite pizza is the Funghi, whereas my husband's is the Capricciosa. Their wines are also quite good! The service has always been excellent, the servers being friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Love Ca' Momi!

We had dinner and then had lunch here. It is located as part of the Oxbow market, which has a variety of food and gift stores, thus isn't necessarily a typical restaurant atmosphere. It does has outdoor and indoor seating, bar area as well, casual atmosphere and you may want to reserve depending on preference. Food was great! Bruschetta was fantastic, desserts were good, pizza as well. I had the oxtail for a main which was tasty. The wine was reasonable priced. We had a bottle of Cabernet for $28. Would definitely come back.

Our party of 6, including a small child and a teen, were all welcome and well fed at Ca' Momi. We shared a couple of antipasti, the prosciutto wrapped melon and the carpaccio, both delicious, although I was surprised that the carpaccio was not served with any bread as I have usually had it. We had pastas and pizzas. Authentic flavor. The pizza was some of the best I have had outside of Naples. I was a tiny bit disappointed that they did not allow me to order the Arrabiatta substituting spaghetti for the penne. My only significant caveat, however, is that outdoor seating was very hot. Fans would be appreciated.

Decided to try this place out after seeing the reviews. Glad we did! Everything was great! We decided to share a small pizza which was perfect for 2. We got the porchetta with arugula, and it was a perfect blend of flavor. Would def get that again. Our server suggested a sparkling wine and that was also great. The only con, which wasn't really anyone's fault, was that a man sitting at the table to the left of us was preaching a little too hard to his family. It started interfering with the chill vibe, but wasn't really anyone's fault. Overall great service.

My wife asked for a side of arugula. They would not give it to her. They said their policy is that the flavors are not to be tampered with so even though they have arugula they refused to give her a little. Extremely pretentious and poor customer service by any measure! We will not be back after being treated this way. You'd think when two people spend $150 on lunch they could treat you better. I wrote to the owners via their website about our experience but have not had a reply. Our server was great otherwise.. The bad policy wasn't her fault.
