A word from Ca' Momi
We were born and raised in Italy and believe that when it comes to Italian food in the U.S., a lot has been lost in translation. We created our winery and our restaurant to pursue our passion for the true flavors of life. We believe the true flavors of authentic Italian cuisine are beautiful. Italian cuisine began with dishes made with few, simple ingredients (flavors) that were strong enough to stand on their own. In effort to capture them, we use select local organic, and Italian ingredients and prepare our dishes in strict accord with traditional regional recipes. Ca’ Momi is Italian for “House of Momi”, Stefano and co-owner Valentina’s family home in Veneto, Italy. The house was named in honor of “Momi dea Bionda”, who is legendary in the Veneto region for his fiery obsession with safeguarding his home. We believe Momi’s protective spirit is still watching our property. Our food, like our wine, is a celebration of his passions and his quest for the simple pleasures of life. Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "Food was very "different." Good Different. Much more authentic than most Italian joints. A great chance to try new dishes. Excellent authentic wood fired pizza. Portions were smaller than I expected. Not a bad thing though. Not an intimate location. Set inside a busy mercantile. Kids were running around and literally screaming two feet away from our table. (Rude parents who did not care....) I suggest eating out on patio instead of inside. Our server was very amateur. She did not seem trained. She did not know the menu very well. The House wine was great. A great value for $19/bottle. I recommend Ca' Momi as a place for a light small plate meal with good wine and good friends."

  • "Good food but not great. Helpful staff, however the kitchen sent out one of the pasta dishes that was ordered as an entree when others were having soup and salad. Also, the pizza menu is very strict. One person on our group asked for fresh tomatoes to be added to the mushroom and pancetta pizza. The manager came over to the table to inform us that that any of the toppings for pizzas shown on the menu can be deleted, however in no uncertain terms can you add a topping to one of the pizzas."

  • "Another great meal at Ca'Momi - If you do not mind having your pizza their way then you are in for a treat. No substitutions but there are enough choices on the pizza menu that you should not have a problem. The goal is that you try it the way it was meant to be and it is well worth it. You will get lost in the flavor and it should bring you right to Italy…"

  • "If you can't make it to Italy, make it to Ca'Momi."

  • "Servers at Ca'Momi really have a lot to memorize. They know their stuff too! The rigatoni with oxtail was sensational and a must-have meal. The Ca'Momi Pinot Noir was outstanding as well. WE will definitely be back to try more things and have that oxtail."

  • "Can't say enough about the food. The prosciutto & melon and the arancini appetizers was so good we had it again 2 nights later. Tried the spaghetti w/bottarga for the first time, looks like a simple dish but the flavor was amazing. Wish the portion sizes were bigger!!"

  • "Ca' Momi serves the best pizza! We have dined there several times, traveling 25 miles to do so, and always look forward to our next visit. Their thin crust is extraordinary with a wide variety of complimentary toppings. They present an extensive menu with something to please everyone's taste. My favorite pizza is the Funghi, whereas my husband's is the Capricciosa. Their wines are also quite good! The service has always been excellent, the servers being friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. Love Ca' Momi!"

  • "This restuarant is located inside a vibrant marketplace! It is fun to walk around before or after dinner. The food is amazing. It is prepared with fresh ingredients and is different from every other Italian/pizza place. The outdoor patio offers a great view."

  • "Excellent service, especially with a toddler. Provided plastic plate, cup and silverware as well as a cup of crayons."

  • "We had dinner and then had lunch here. It is located as part of the Oxbow market, which has a variety of food and gift stores, thus isn't necessarily a typical restaurant atmosphere. It does has outdoor and indoor seating, bar area as well, casual atmosphere and you may want to reserve depending on preference. Food was great! Bruschetta was fantastic, desserts were good, pizza as well. I had the oxtail for a main which was tasty. The wine was reasonable priced. We had a bottle of Cabernet for $28. Would definitely come back."

  • "Our party of 6, including a small child and a teen, were all welcome and well fed at Ca' Momi. We shared a couple of antipasti, the prosciutto wrapped melon and the carpaccio, both delicious, although I was surprised that the carpaccio was not served with any bread as I have usually had it. We had pastas and pizzas. Authentic flavor. The pizza was some of the best I have had outside of Naples. I was a tiny bit disappointed that they did not allow me to order the Arrabiatta substituting spaghetti for the penne. My only significant caveat, however, is that outdoor seating was very hot. Fans would be appreciated."

  • "Decided to try this place out after seeing the reviews. Glad we did! Everything was great! We decided to share a small pizza which was perfect for 2. We got the porchetta with arugula, and it was a perfect blend of flavor. Would def get that again. Our server suggested a sparkling wine and that was also great. The only con, which wasn't really anyone's fault, was that a man sitting at the table to the left of us was preaching a little too hard to his family. It started interfering with the chill vibe, but wasn't really anyone's fault. Overall great service. "

  • "We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Ca'Momi out on the patio. The night was beautiful, the wine, service and food was too. Especially loved the Cacio de Pepe the table enjoyed as an appetizer. The menu is full of delicious vegetarian options which I really appreciate. Pizzas were perfect. Service is attentive and quick. All in all an A+ experience, followed by a very reasonable bill. One of our very favorite neighborhood spots. Reservations are highly recommended for dinner."

  • "I'm normally someone that needs to add additional seasoning to my food. Not here, everything was packed with flavor! I had a salad, Olive oil flatbread and pasta puttanesca and all were outstanding. The staff is friendly and attentive. Pizza is next!"

  • "Fun, casual restaurant with amazing pizzas and pastas; super-nice staff too. The insalata Bianca is THE best salad ever -- so unique with clean, crisp flavors and great textures."

  • "Excellent Italian food! Servers and staff are wonderful."

  • "My wife asked for a side of arugula. They would not give it to her. They said their policy is that the flavors are not to be tampered with so even though they have arugula they refused to give her a little. Extremely pretentious and poor customer service by any measure! We will not be back after being treated this way. You'd think when two people spend $150 on lunch they could treat you better. I wrote to the owners via their website about our experience but have not had a reply. Our server was great otherwise.. The bad policy wasn't her fault."

  • "No Parm, no pepper flakes, no substitutions. Great crust. Pancetta cut too thickly and chewy, however. The but rats and roasted veggies are to die for. And if you like sweetbreads, don't miss these."

  • "It is deceiving because it is located inside a Public Market. The food is so good and so authentic that it will fit in as a very high end authentic Italian dining."

  • "I have wanted to eat here for a long time, but each time I have come the wait has been long. This time Iwe arrived early and we each had a delicious and creative salad and shared some pizzas. I have never had pizzas that tasted so fresh. The food was exceptional. Now we see why it has been so crowded. Everyone loves the food!"

  • "We are regular diners at Ca' Momi's as it is one of our favorites! Good quality ingredients and consistently good authentic Italian food. The pizza is the best! The Gnudi is delicious! Everything we've tried has been great... including the fabulous pastries! The people are friendly and the service is good too."

  • "What a find. We never explore that side of Napa & were so happy to find this restaurant. The food was freshly prepared & I loved the variety of items on the menu. The nose to tail slow cooked items were amazing! This restaurant has to be a stop on your next trip to Napa!"

  • "We had just traveled across the US to get to Napa Valley and needed a relaxing environment for dinner. Only a 5 minute walk from our hotel (River Terrace Inn), this place was perfect. Great food, great service, relaxed environment. The Carbonara pizza was perfect and for Napa had one of the better craft beer lists."

  • "Always good pie, visit about twice a month. Service good, but not spectacular. Outdoor seating nice and quiet - inside can get quite loud."

  • "I had the porcini pizza which was awesome and my friend had the pepper spaghetti....which was also awesome. And I completely understand about no changes or substitutions for the pizza, we sat next to a couple who were 80+ and wanted to share a pizza...one part cheese and one part with ham. I felt for them as they said they were on a budget, and really just wanted to share. The server was very nice and explained however I feel sometimes there should be an exception. Just a thought...."

  • "Loved the pizza. Wine list is meh, but the food is delicious. We've been a few times, and service is usually stellar, but this last time I can only assume they were short staffed. Our server seemed rushed and forgot a couple things. I would still have no problem recommending this to anyone. Good pie!"

  • "The wife and I stumbled into this restaurant and was blown away by the service and the staff at Co-Momi, we were walked to a table that was prepped for us after we booked our reservation on-line, The staff was ready with water as we sat and took our drink and appetizer order right away, The young lady was very knowledgeable in selecting a wine for us, the meal was spectacular and the patio was nice and warm as they sat us near the fire as we requested KUDOS to all"

  • "Surprisingly good authentic Italian wood-fired pizza, excellent green salad, wonderful pastries. Very well-trained and attentive servers. Ambiance is fine for groups, business meetings, friends, and families, but not at all romantic unless you sit outside, and then you're looking at a parking lot."

  • "Awesome gluten free/vegetarian pizzas! Was so excited to see GF/V on several menu items! Our group of five had great service and the pizzasa came out fast and all together! Delicious gluten free profiterales as well! Yum"

  • "Excited to go with all the accolades for authentic Italian food, however the food was bland. Had the sweetbreads, nothing particularly sweetbreadly about them. Also had the fried rice balls, no particular standout note(s) flavor-wise, just crunchy. For entrees had the prosciutto and mushroom pizza and the creamy spatzel with speck. The speck was gristly to the point we picked it out of the dish because it was so hard. The mushroom prosciutto pizza needed more sauce to balance out the saltiness of the prosciutto. There didn't seem to be much attention to putting the pizza together as there were portions with no mushrooms other areas were piled high. Sorry to say we would not recommend nor return, unfortunately a great disappointment."

  • "Really liked the Napa woodfired pizza! Had to see what an authentic one tasted like, and it was fantastic! The bakery also had fabulous cannolis (the chocolate-dipped one with ricotta, chocolate chips, and orange filling was phenomenal)."
