The service was very friendly and attentive, the appetizers (scallops and the shrimp salad) were to die for! My steak was great and my mom had the salmon which she LOVED! Food was excellent, waiter and staff were super and they brought two well-presented glasses of ice cream on a plate with happy anniversary written in chocolate, which I had mentioned on Open Table when I booked the reservation that day. Service was terrific and they never rushed us. I didn't care for my pasta dish but I think that was just my taste. The artichoke salad, bread, desserts and wine were all good.
They have a great happy hour 5 for $5 which I hope to enjoy some day. My favorite thing was this dessert drink with gelato, limoncello and prosecco blended like a smoothie and served in champagne glasses. I found this spot when I googled "Romantic Italian Restaurant Los Angeles". I made reservations to this place immediately after reading all the reviews and looking through photos. I made a little note on the reservation letting them know that my date and I wanted to go for happy hour first and then eat dinner. When we got there, its like they were expecting us! They knew exactly what we wanted and when we left the bar, they led us to a more secluded part of the restaurant. We were treated like royalty! They knew all their wine and were able to pair it up with our meal perfectly! Everything was delicious! He is head and shoulders above some of others and made this experience much better than the last. The manager is usually there and is also very attentive to any issues that arise. He is a true professional and has had years of experience. All the entrees sounded wonderful but we all ordered the Bronzino sea bass served over a bed of artichoke hearts with light lemon, white wine and olive oil. It was divine. Took my girlfriend here for her birthday and she enjoyed it so much. The variety in the menu is also noteworthy. Lots of Pasta, high quality meats and cheeses, and a lot of seafood. Portions arent massive which i personally appreciate in a restaurant. You get what you pay for, and what you pay for is quality.
