  • "I go to this restaurant often. This visit was for a work lunch. Several of us came at different times and as each person arrived, they immediately took the order and delivered the drinks. They always have amazing food, excellent service and wine list. It is great when you want to be able to have a conversation without raising your voice and be able to hear across the table. The outside seating is fabulous, you can sit on the deck with all the flowering trees and shrubs."

  • "Great food and service in a wonderful setting. This is our new go to place for a special dinner or a lunch. So glad we found it. Wait staff is knowledgable and welcoming, owner chats with the guests, The setting is awesome and the food spectacular."

  • "Good location but parking somewhat tight. Seated promptly. Service slow by US standards but this is an Italian restaurant so we didn't mind, makes it more of an event as opposed to an activity. Wine list needs work. They are in wine country and have few wines by the glass and limited bottle selection. Polenta appetizer very good. Wanted arugula salad but they "didn't get their delivery (how about going to the local store?). Pear and gorgonzola salad was good. Chicken Marsala average, tasted like maple syrup. Pappardella with lamb very good. Would try again."

  • "We had a very delightful evening at a truly Italian restaurant on our visit to Sonoma County. This place really had the look and feel of Italy, and our meals were terrific. We would love to return to Ca Bianca on our next trip to Sonoma!"

  • "Ca Bianca restaurant is set in a beautiful victorian house. It is very romantic with good food and and excellent service. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who is celebrating a special occasion or just wants to spend a little more money for wonderful evening. It was my husband's birthday and I had informed the restaurant when I made the reservation on line. After dinner he was served a chocolate cake dessert with a candle in it. I was surprised because I forgot to remind my waiter about my husband's birthday when we first showed up."

  • "Selected the restaurant at random as this was our first visit and it was one of the few restaurants open for lunch on a Monday that appeared to have some panache. We were not disappointed. We ate on the porch surrounded by a beautiful garden of this old Victorian mansion. Food was very good and the service was superb. Restaurant is open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner. Some items were not on the menu but the server helped us to similar other items resulting in all four people in our party being very pleased. We will return."

  • "Comfortable but elegant, good classic italian food with a lighter touch. I loved the mussels and clams appetizer and the tagliatelle with lamb sauce; my husband has enjoyed the seafood linguini and the fettucini with an angus beef sauce. The risotto with salmon from Sonoma restaurant week menu was perfectly cooked but a little salty for my taste. The Caesar is authentic and delicious. Good wine selection with plenty of Italian wines. Very friendly and competent service. This was my second visit. It's in an old white house with murals and chandeliers, wooden floors, an inviting bar and outdoor dining that looks like it would be nice on a summer night or after work some day. I'll no doubt be back. My family and friends all enjoyed it."

  • "We loved the ambiance and the Victorian home setting. Our service was outstanding, very attentive and friendly. We tried two of the entree options for restaurant week, the Pollo Ca'Bianca and the Fettuccine Al Ragu Genovese, both were delicious! The vanil;a bean panna cotta with fresh berries for dessert was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal."

  • "Great food, great service, ambience, what more could we ask for?"

  • "It's my favorite place for an inexpensive, luxurious little meal. The food is always very good. But the ambience….that beautiful white victorian with cozy spaces….is what really sets it apart. Like dining at your elegant grandmother's house. Marco and Karen are terrific owners who don't cave in to fads."

  • "ONce again we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Ca'Bianca. The food was lovely, the portions reasonable, the staff attentive, and the noise level allows you to enjoy your company there too. A favorite for special occasions for us all year long."

  • "We have eaten at Ca Bianca five times now which is no where near enough as it is a terrific dining experience in every respect: ambiance, service, menu selection, food preparation/presentation, wine selection (AND pricing), and value. Our only regret is that we live too far away to become regulars, but whenever we're remotely close to Santa Rosa, Ca Bianca for dinner is a must. Indeed, anyone who lives in or near Santa Rosa is making a huge mistake if they do not go -- whether for special occasions or for no particular reason other than to enjoy a fabulous dining experience."

  • "Simply said....every time we go to Ca Bianca we are reminded about what it's one of our favorites."

  • "Had a very enjoyable meal! Food was very good, service was complete and the wines by the glass were very good! The only reason I couldn't go for to excellent was we had a problem with the person who ran our credit card as they didn't run it correctly and the amount was more than the meal should have been. It was quickly corrected but other than that mistake, everything was very enjoyable."

  • "The food, the drinks, the service... all stellar. Traditional Italian with lovely specials. Will return soon for my Italian fix!"

  • "It was a lovely way to mark my birthday. Food was delicious. Service was impeccable. My husband had the lamb shanks and I had the special -- a dover sole stuffed with spinach. A bit salty for my taste. We'll go back for another special occasion."

  • "Absolutely the best in Santa Rosa. Ingredients were clearly fresh and top notch and preparation and presentation excellent. The service was very good as well."

  • "While our Valentine's Day visit was not our first time at Ca' Bianca, we find every time to be a special occasion. The owners are more often present than not...Marco and Karen. They are wonderful hosts. The food, to say the least, is always excellent and presented by a seasoned and attentive wait staff...most of them have been there for years. If you have not been to Ca' Bianca, your life is incomplete!"

  • "Over the years we have found Ca Bianca to be great and sometimes just so-so. This last trip on a Sunday night was both. The service was slow and inattentive and the lamb shank was cooked almost to the point of jerky (and it was early in the evening). The rest of the meal, including cocktails, was fabulous.....their panna cotta is out of this world. It's a very comfy place and worth trying again and again. I do miss the antipasta di mare, no longer on the menu."

  • "Very good northern Italian food, very good service, even on a busy night like Valentine's day. Situated in an old home, it has ambience and class. Prices are moderate--good for a restaurant like this. Wine list is quite complete and reasonably priced, offering choices for all palates and pocketbooks. We go often when we have time to dine leisurely and appreciate the food and setting."

  • "My wife and I went to Ca Bianca for a Valentine's Day meal. We are from Texas and don't get up to N.Cali that often, so this was a special treat! We had gone years ago and remembered the gnocchi like it was yesterday, and it was just as (maybe better?) than we remembered! Our waiter, Gerado was wonderful and gave us outstanding food and wine recommendations. We ate until our eyes were heavy, then finished our meals with a sweet limoncello digestif. Truly one of the best Italian food experiences we have had. All the pasta was handmade, the wines of course were top notch, and the charm of the old Victorian house was the cherry on top. We WILL be back."

  • "Starting with the spinach salad, full of great flavor and texture. For dinner had the delicious special of local rabbit with homemade pasta. Oh so good and mouth watering. The standards of this great place have been going on for over the 5 years that my wife and I have been going."

  • "The dinner and overall experience was excellent, but I will say my wife and I were half the age of everyone dining there. We did go on Valentines Day and even for as busy as they were, the service was excellent, my water was always full and the cocktails were excellent. Hopefully open table can bring a younger crowd there before the regulars die off."

  • "I took my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner. We enjoyed the food although his prawns were a little overcooked. the baked polenta and the gnocchi were fantastic. The restaurant was initially very loud and it was to talk to each other without having to repeat ourselves or talk louder. About midway through dinner it did quiet down. The service was great. Our waiter was very attentive and seemed knowledgable about the menu."

  • "What I imagined to be a good restaurant turned out to be a great restaurant. Prior to celebrating out 2 year anniversary with my girlfriend at Ca Bianca just one week ago, I was advised to take my money elsewhere, due to an allegedly pricy menu. Though I am a college student, I managed to keep the bill low without having to sacrifice taste, presentation, and overall experience. I especially understood this when I delved into the flavorful morsel that was the pork tenderloin on my plate. For the experience that my girlfriend and I shared, which included 2 appetizers, our main course, and dessert, I must recommend Ca Bianca to all who are curious."

  • "I've been going to Ca Bianca for some time. I did go on N.Y. Eve and the food/service was mediocre. Our server was not interested in being there that evening. As a matter of fact, we had a bet between the 3 of us to see who could make him smile first. We did succeed in making him smile. As far as the food, the 3 of us each ordered the ceasar salad and each was a different size. My friends did enjoy their entrees. I did not enjoy my sea bass, which was described as Branzino on the menu. It was on a bed of, I think, forbidden rice. with a cauliflower puree. The rice and the overall dish was salty. The fish was cooked correctly. I will go back again as it was N.Y. Eve and sometimes expect this. I hope I won't be disappointed next time."

  • "Our reservation was at 5:15 New Years Eve. The place was about half full when we arrived and were given a quiet table in a side dining room. The Taster Menu included four courses and a free glass of sparkling wine for $75 a person. Food is consistently good, with the veal chop being done perfectly. Wines by the glass were ample enough to find a good paring with each course. By the time we left at about 7:30 it was full and still quiet enough to carry on a conversation. We've dined there at least two times a year since it opened several years ago and never been disappointed. Nice friendly and relaxed atmosphere with attentive service."
