Byrsa BistroMasterful detailsMy family and I came here for Mother's Day brunch. The servers were attentive and the food was exquisite, especially in the little details. The side salads were dresses perfectly, the potatoes were prepared to perfection, and all of our main dishes we fresh and delicious. I hear dinner takes it to a whole other level. Food and service were both very good, and the restaurant has a charming ambience. There seems to be a lot of French influence in the foods, and they are very flavorful. Lamb chops, short ribs, and scallops were all delicious. My branzino was a little bland -- seemed to be broiled or baked without much if any seasoning -- but the fish was fresh and mild. The sides helped add spice and flavor to my plate. I love being able to get some interesting food combinations here in Chester County, and am anxious to try some of the other items on the menu. We all enjoyed the food, which was well prepared, fresh, and not run-of-the-mill. The prices were a bit high, but we felt it was worth it. My husband and I shared the sampler - the best warm dolmades I've ever had, heavenly baba ganoush and light and creamy hummus. The mushroom soup is to die for!! Grilled Salmon and Chicken Tagine entrees were delicious. Lovely presentation, fabulous vegetables. Fig crepe and baklava were perfect. The service was excellent, attentive and personable.
