Diner Reviews
  • "The food is good and the space is great, so if you find yourself in the neighborhood -- it's a good please to enjoy some dinner. Lots of space so you don't feel too crowded. It was perfect for what we wanted."

  • "They easily accommodated our party of ten at a perfect rectangular table. It was 2 people on each end and 3 people on each side which made it so easy to chat with everyone. The food was delicious! I had scallops for starter and the ahi tuna for my main. We also shared a app of bacon- why not! The staff was so attentive and the manager was knowledgable and accommodating. I will definitely return!"

  • "Just a great overall experience. Excellent food, service and ambience."

  • "Food and decor were great. I'd definitely recommend trying the soft serve cheesecake dessert. The restaurant was nearly empty on a Friday night around 9:00pm/9:30pm and the service was a little slow. Would return for the food and ambiance, not for the service."

  • "service was less than attentive, chicken lacked flovor and burger was overcooked"

  • "We were treated just like any other customer which was excellent given how some restaurants treat voucher users poorly. Their small bites and appetizers had a much better variety than their entrees, but everything did taste delicious. The ribs were our favorite, as they gave you a lot and were very good."

  • "The food was good, nothing spectacular. The service however was outstanding. While Enduro is not at the top of my restaurant list, it is still worth a re-visit."

  • "My meal was really disappointing - the Caesar Salad lacked flavor and the lettuce wasn't green; my steak was dry and lacked flavor, also. Service was good, but no dice on the food."

  • "Went for the Valentine's Day prix fixe menu, which was an incredible amount of food and included a bottle of champagne. Food was excellent but service wasn't great and less than friendly."

  • "Went with the girlfriend and has the chefs special valentine menu. Came with complimentary champagne. Everything was amazing. Highly recommend."

  • "While the space is huge, and I suspect may present a problem long term, as small cramped places always seem to be busy, this was a wonderful dinner. We sat right away, and very much enjoyed our dinner. The sides were awesome, and we definitely over-ordered but wanted to try everything. Ribs were great, as was chicken and Tuna Tartare. Finally, our server, Sarah, was wonderful also. Highly recommend and will return often!!!!"

  • "We had a delicious Saturday morning brunch. We were horribly late for our reservation but they sat us down straight away. We shared a jumbo crab cake for our appetizer. It was so large and tasty and perfectly cooked. My friend had the burger and a side of sausage. He wanted to lick the plate clean! I had the challah French toast with baked apple, ricotta. If there is a French toast heaven...I had arrived. The baked apple was sweet and tender. The French toast was made with a super thick piece of bread, soft and almost with the consistency of a soufflé. We used a Gilt voucher and they were kind enough to swap cocktails for some juice. I'd say it was a perfect brunch and we'll be back again."

  • "The food and wine were terrific, but the desserts really stole the show. Overall, good service and food, though for the price you might expect a bit more ambiance."

  • "The location and physical setup/layout of this place is great. Owners spared NO EXPENSE (why sound system so poor?) on this place. The food and service, if improved, would make this place AMAZING. Why don't these guys do IT? The menu sounded great and some dishes were good, others just OK. The service sb more professional. Wine list was interesting."

  • "Though new, I've gone back to Enduro many times. I've taken my mother, I've interviewed a writer, I've met a date and, this week, I reunited with a group of former colleagues. The space is great -- it's big but cozy with all the exposed brick. It has nice lighting and very good acoustics. From appetizers (love the pork croquettes) to salads (adore the kale salad) to steaks (ribeye!) to seafood (love the lobster/crab/shrimp dishes), the menu suits any palate. And, the staff is amazing - very friendly and devoted to ensuring that you have a lovely time. There is a great bar, plus an excellent social area. It also has an outdoor area that i can't wait to try once the weather is warmer! I'm so happy Enduro moved into the neighborhood!"

  • "We are very pleased with this new-ish restaurant. The menu is creative without being crazy, the food is attractively presented and delicious, and the service is very friendly but not intrusive. We have been 4 times now and never less than pleased. It is too bad that the entrance on 56th Street is not more prominent to attract passers-by because we want Enduro to stick around for a very long time."

  • "We had a great meal here on New Year's Eve. Food and Service were excellent. We had a numbe rof small children in our party and chef made a point to make it special for them, even giving them a view of the kitchen. Would definitely return."

  • "Actually, everything was excellent - the pretzel balls were a little too salty and the mustard on the burger was hotter than expected but everything was delicious and the service was superior. I received the accommodations I requested and everything went very well. It was a very enjoyable luncheon and we'll definitely be back!"

  • "I've been here's few times with groups of 6-10 people. It's a big restaurant so we never feel cramped or like we're sitting on top of other tables. Not noisy. Lovely modern decor. Service is friendly, food is very good. Really great outdoor dining space separate from the sidewalk. This place is a keeper!!"

  • "When near 3rd Ave and 55th St this is a good place to eat at a fair price. Good is good and service competent. Nice restaurant lay out and very clean. Nice bar if you want a cocktail. Also, outdoor dinning during the warmer months. Recommend this restauarnt for a business luch or dinner if you don't want to break the bank."

  • "The area is nice and overpriced but the food here is remarkable. You will not regret ordering the steak which is dry aged and served to perfection. The margaritas are strong and use other liquor besides just tequilla. Ask for Lindsey for your waiting experience because she is a server who wont disappoint. Attentive, smart and funny she will make your meal the best meal you have had in NYC."

  • "It was not a very busy night when we where there so noise was not a problem. Great background music playing. Decor is beautiful. Really well done! Food was great too. Had several apps and they were very good. Meatballs were delicious. We had the burger and the chicken for dinner. Both were just right. Will definitely go again."

  • "We tried Enduro again recently after an unimpressive first meal right after they opened. This time the food was all very good. The service and atmopshere were excellent both times. Definitely worth checking out!"

  • "I liked my time at Enduro. My burger was very tasty and the waiter was extremely polite to me. I felt the cheesecake sundae lacked flavor and I was disappointed in the dessert especially since it received such good reviews."

  • "This is our 3rd time eating at Enduro. Each time consistently good on all levels. Well keep coming back and bring friends and family. We recommended to lots of people"

  • "We were looking for a place for a large group for brunch. The menu had variety and value for Midtown. Brunch cocktail included with each entree (try the French 75). The service was very accommodating. We had a great time and were not rushed."

  • "I enjoyed this place, I came here for dinner and brunch. I must admit its a huge spot with a nice ambiance. The food for both dinner and brunch was very good and they seem to give healthy servings. My only issue was the service. Both times I had excellent service until I received my meal and then the service would drop. I understand more people came in which would slow down service, but it almost felt as if the waiters both times forgot that I and my date were done eating. Im giving them the benefit of the doubt because this place is fairly new and you may expect some issues with service. But dont leave your customers waiting forever for the check."

  • "Went at 6:45 on a Sat. night as needed a casual place near theater on E 59th street. Some families but not disruptive or high nose level. Basic comfort food that was tasty with some unusual side dishes. Grilled options were cooked as requested. Portions decent size. French fries terrific! Desserts, ordered by table next to us, looked great too."

  • "Enduro has a wide menu selection of delicious food and offers a respite from the usual noisy and cramped neighborhood spots. Very high ceiling, booths, room between tables...all welcoming to conversation between friends and family. The management is eagerly watching and obviously trying hard to build a following in the the neighborhood. The Caesar salad is excellent, as is the scallop appetizer. Rotisserie chicken also a nice choice. We have enjoyed all that we have ordered! We hear brunch is very good too, Yhat's next on our list."

  • "We were there shortly after it opened, so it is still unknown. Not many people in this huge restaurant which takes away from the atmosphere but the food we had was delicious. Wonderful clam chowder with clams in their shells, diced potatoes and crispy pieces of salt pork in a tangy, creamy broth. Scallops, grilled perfectly, siting atop first a bed of pureed spinach, over which was a bed of pureed sweet potato, and several sweet potato crisps on top - terrific; oxtail tortellini - unusual and good. Service was friendly and attentive. A bit hard to find as the address is set back from the corner - you have to seek it out, but restaurant is planning to install a more prominent sign. Give this restaurant a little time - it will be worthwhile."

  • "I specifically went to Enduro with friends for the Korean BBQ Salad because it was very good a month ago. What arrived was a pile of chopped raw radicchio and cabbage with slivers of beef strips buried among the salad. There was no hint of the ginger salad dressing and the rice balls were cold and soggy. My husband ordered Pork Loin and what he got instead was a fatty pork chop. Never again!"
