Starting with the margarita; It was so sour I couldn't get past the first sip and the table agreed. The waiter kindly swapped it out for something more palatable. But that should have been our hint that the rest of the meal wasn't going to get any better. I had the macadamia nut crusted halibut, broccoli, and mac 'n cheese. The halibut was overcooked and dry. The broccoli was ice cold and mushy. The mac 'n cheese was bland and goopy. I pushed the food around the plate and tried not to make a scene, but quickly realized the rest of the table was doing the same. We sent plates back and the manager never even stopped by to apologize to our table.

Mt husband and I ate at Buzio's for our one year anniversary, the food was amazing and the hostess was super friendly but our waiter seemed to either hate his job or was having the worst day ever.

Very average meal. Service was attentive and prompt. Food was not bad and arrived quickly, however nothing was so good that it would make me want to try it again. Was convenient for the Penn and Teller later that night, plus 20% off the check with show tickets.

We went on the basis of other reviews which were in the four range and wanted seafood. The seafood was fresh, no heavy fishy smell or taste, not overcooked, very moist and flavorful. Sides are a bit ho hum, but were cooked well (not soggy or underdone). My husband had Halibut and I had the Chilean Sea Bass, but the other choices sounded very tasty (Red Snapper, Scallops). We went VERY early (5pm) so it wasn't very crowded, but I imagine with alot of people it could be very noisy. I would recommend it.

when we went to the restaurant to see if there was any availability, we were told it was a 1 hour wait andthe restaurant was 1/2 full. Then I got on to open table to see what was around and 15 min later there was a table at this restaurant. I didn't understand the logic, but Im glad we didn't have to wait an hour.

The special for the night was cod & oscar topping was terrible and 3 of us had it. The other lady had a tilapia with a parmesan crust on it that was too well done. The bottle of wine was great, you can't ruin that. Should've listened to the yelp reviews on this one, but we we're their to see Penn & Teller, not too many choices.

HI. Love this place in general but over $35 for the very mediocre/average piece of halibut filet very disappointing. Maybe next time, I'll make a meal of the appetizers, which are by and large good and (mostly) worth it.

Our experience at Buzio's was excellent. The food, wine, service, atmosphere, price, all perfect. However when we presented a visa gift card for $100, an anniversary gift supposedly good everywhere with no hidden fees, we were told by our very nice waiter that gift cards were "tricky" and our card was only good for $75. I certainly understand there can be processing fees. I own my own business and know about charge card fees, but 25%? That seems a bit stiff. If that is your policy, it should be listed somewhere. We could have used the visa card gift at Home Depot and spent another $25! So, nice restaurant, but on our anniversary we felt for our friend who had spent $100 of her hard earned money, a little bit disappointed.

Buzios has a good location inside the Rio, but the food & the service leave much to be desired. The wait time for our appetizer was at least 20 minutes. Once we were done, the waiter never returned to remove the appetizer plates. A different waiter delivered our entrée 30 minutes later, & it was at that time that the 2nd waiter removed the plates. Our waiter never checked on us, but the "water" server did keep our glasses full with water. We ordered clams casino for appetizer, & the clams were rubbery. I ordered the Grouper Oscar, which again was so tough that I could not cut it with my knife. We had to ask someone to get our waiter to get the check, which he delivered to the table & walked away again. We will never visit this place again!

My boyfriend and I ate dinner here for our 9 year anniversary, prior to seeing the Penn and Teller show. We started off with a Poke and Sashimi as our appetizer, we are from Hawaii and the fish was soo mouth watering. I ordered the Mahi stuffed with crab and that was great. My boyfriend ordered Shrimp fettuccini, more like prawn Fettuccini he loved it. For desert we had a good size Cheesecake, only ate half it was too big. Since we were celebrating our 9 year anniversary wish they would of gave of a complimentary dessert. It's the first restaurant we've celebrated our, where they did not decorate a dessert plate for us.

From the time you walk in everyone is friendly. The Clam Crowder is so yummy. The shrimp prepared just right. I always get it blackened. They have sides that you can't get anywhere else. Our Server Scott was Excellent. So friendly and efficient. We visit this restaurant every time we stay at The Rio.

Was staying at Rio and wanted a seafood night. We booked and went, is quiet and couple or family friendly. The kitchen only had half our order in so we had to wIt for them to re-fire the whole thing. Seemed like it was not worth the money for some of the big ticket items but was good food none the less. Would probably return. The staff was friendly and drinks were excellent. Had the sea bass and wife had catfish.

Buzios has a great selection of fish and all entrees come with 2 sides. The clam chowder was amazing. My snapper would have been better if it was a little less dry. I felt that server was also a little slow even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. The wine list was impressive and our fried from out of town really enjoyed the restaurant.

Decided on Buzio's for a pre-show dinner. We had been there before in 2008 and loved it. Have not had the chance to return until now, and it was as good as ever!. We are Vegas locals, and with so many dining options it is easy to let a time pass before realizing you haven't returned to that place you really enjoyed. We will make a concerted effort to not let 6 more years pass before returning. Food was fresh and the portions were more then filling. The Louie salad I had with Shrimp and lump crab was filled to the brim with seafood and not just a plate of lettuce. Same for all the entrees at the table. No one left hungry. Service was attentive and friendly. Hint--show your show tickets and you receive 20% discount on your meal!

Service (by Peggy) was exceptional. Drinks came quickly. We had a pool view table, which we enjoyed. The bread you're given at the table was tasty and fresh if you prefer bread with a thick, chewy crust. I like my break warm and a little softer. The fish tacos (my first!) were superb. I would order them again. My daughter had Atlantic Salmon with broccoli and steamed rice, and she loved it all. Hubby had swordfish with garlic mashed potatoes and glazed carrots, and he had only good things to say about all of it! I opted for the macadamia crusted halibut special, with garlic mashed potatoes and sauteed mushrooms. The halibut was tasty but fell apart too easily. The potatoes and mushrooms were awesome. Definitely will go back.

My wife and I were dining with friends who had a small child. They had asked for some apple juice and the waiter had gone out of his way to go to another restaurant to get a glass for them. That was just the beginning of a great dining experience. The food was great, the wine was excellent and the atmosphere was enjoyable. I would recommend dinning here to all my friends.
