After hearing about this restaurant from a friend, I thought my husband would enjoy their brunch for Father's Day as he loves a great brunch. Due to a recent surgery, however, he has been limited in what he is able to eat. I contacted the restaurant several days before to see if they could accommodate his special needs. When we arrived, not only were we greeted immediately by the manager but we were also informed by him that the kitchen would be able to prepare whatever was needed to accommodate him. What great service! Our waitress was fantastic and kept the table served with coffee and mimosas while we enjoyed the brunch buffet. They have great breakfast items and great lunch items. Standard stuff like eggs and french toast with some fantastic sausage gravy with biscuits. The more unusual are the grits, very good btw, and lunch items like Seafood Gumbo and Collard greens.

However, I was charged one price for a drink at the bar and when I received my bill at the table it was another price. This is unacceptable. The waiter was not very helpful when trying to fix the issue. He went as far as to say the only way he would be able to change the ticket, he would have to see the prior ticket. This is unacceptable. Now if I should visit again, I would not be so trusting or do you guys just make up prices as you go. It gets worse. Not at all what I expected them to be. I had the chicken fried chicken with a side of waffles. Let me tell you, the blueberry infused butter is mind blowing. My girlfriend had the Big Pappi Pollo and she absolutely loved it. Our waiter was Alias, you would have thought he had worked there for years. We found out later in the evening it was only his 5th day. He was personable, attentive, and just a happy kid. We made sure to talk to the Manager before we left to let him know how pleased we were with everything. My only complaint was that the band started early.
