They said they would be able to seat us before 7:30 and then 7:45 comes around before we were finally seated (although there were plenty of open tables). We we're sat in the very back 2 feet from the waiters station and the entrance to the kitchen. I asked,the hostess if we could have a booth by the window and we would wait. Got drinks at the bar and saw the hostess tell the manager we were from our of town and there restaurant was one of the nights we picked for our NYC trip. The manager immediately whipped into action and was able to secure us an awesome table and then the waitress was awesome, the food exactly as billed-awesome, and the manager checked on us to make sure all was ok. So unfortunately, we were limited to the Lunch menu. For appetizer, we got Rock Shrimp Hush Puppies, which were AMAZING-Definitely as good an app as have had anywhere. Then we had burgers. I don't think it would be possible to understate just how good this burger is. Got the Bash Burger, my wife the Classic burger. In presentation as well as taste, an absolute masterful work of art. Also, we both concurred that the French Fries were also really good.
For dessert, I got the Warm Chocolate Toffee cake w/ Bourbon Sauce & Bacon Ice Cream..This as well, was so good!

The food was incredible and the desserts were delicious. If you decide to try it out, you HAVE to get a burger. It was cooked perfectly with crispy, crunch onion rings on top. While I've only had a limited sampling of the foods they have to offer, I've been there three times so far and everything I've eaten is great. At lunch, it's quiet (if a little bit expensive), at at night it's vibrant and chic. The decor is nice, mixing a seemingly industrial space with what would appear to be a mid-century den or parlour. There is a breadth of options and after trying the tacos, beet salad, and squash ravioli, I have to say that I was definitely pleased by each! The food was good...we liked it a lot, but the bash burger wasn't as delicious or unique as anticipated. It was tasty, but I doubt that I'd ever go there again if I weren't in the neighborhood. I would totally recommend BB; the menu offers something for everyone. We had a really nice server, and she really enhanced our experience.
Two of us arrived early, so we sat at the bar, which was delightful. I was anxious to try the wine on tap, and the bartender gave me tastes beforehand, which was much appreciated.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMWe really appreciate the casualWe really appreciate the casual atmosphere while munching on a tasty $22 2 course lunch prix-fixe. Burgers are cooked perfection and came with delicious onion rings and fries. Buns are fluffy and meat was juicy. Only recommendation is maybe not to have your burger sliced in half as the juice runs into the buns before it makes it to your table.
