This is the first time we decided to bring our children, they are 5 and 8. They do not have a kids menu but will put a basic sauce (butter, tomato, meat) on any pasta they have. The food was exquisite, like always, and my daughter ordered off of the main menu. I recommend starting with their carpaccio appetizer and if they have their cheese and salami plate that is always amazing. The place was hopping on the night of Wine Festival, and the restaurant did not miss a beat. Service was great despite being packed. Food was great -- our table of four was all over the menu, and everything was great. Nice wine list made even better by great prices. We've been to Buona Tavola several times over the years and it has never disappointed. The varied menu provides a pleasant experience, service is professional and punctual and actually friendly!
This past Sunday (Mother's Day) they were swamped with an overflow crowd. All of the staff had to be on their "A" game and they were. Of particular note was the young lady who served as the hostess. She was seating guests, answering phones, refilling water glasses, bussing tables, etc., etc. It was impressive to watch!
Oh, the pasta was exceptional as it always is!

You can also buy a salami to take with you at the end of the evening. The grilled branzino special was perfectly prepared.
