Our kids are school-age and they are welcomed and don't feel out of place. They'll make smaller portions of some of the dishes for them. The restaurant ambiance has a quaint feel in a neighborhood setting. It was great the first time, and it was great this time. My wife had the pecan crusted salmon. She loved it. I had a few bites of it and it was mouth-watering. I had the shrimp scampi. It was very delicious, very well seasoned. They have a great tiramisu. He spent time helping my friend order her meal by finding out what she most liked and tweaking one of his dishes on the menu for her. We ordered walleye cakes as an appetizer and they were delicious and crispy on the outside and loaded with wonderful flavor. The scrumptious sauce really brought it all together. I ordered the special, Surf and Turf, and was very disappointed with the steak. It was a very lackluster piece of meat with no flavor and overcooked. The three jumbo shrimp, scampi style, were tasty and pleasing as usual.

The portions were very generous and the service was friendly and helpful. If you haven't been there you are missing a very special place.
