Main course: shucked lobster with bearnaise sauce, filet mignon with red wine sauce,asparagus with garlic mashed potatoes which was amazing. My husband had prime rib with baked potato and green beans. He stated that prime rib was the best he has ever eaten. Wait staff were attentive without being intrusive. Overall a wonderful experience and will go again.
Ambience in dining room is classic New England with low background music that does not overwhelm ability to converse with companions.

The service was great. Our server checked in periodically without being interruptive. She noticed right away if we needed another drink or refill of water. The food was excellent. I ordered the blackened prime rib and it was perfect. My husband had sirloin and it too was delicious. We ordered 1/2 salads (one caesar and one house) which were both good size portions, that we could've got one 1/2 salad and shared it. But glad we didn't because they were so delicious. The food was amazing and perfectly prepared.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat Steak, but go off-peak hoursThis is our third visit to Buckley's and as before the steaks were outstanding, the sides creative, and everything was cooked perfectly. Also as usual they were very busy. While our waitress was attentive and did check in from time to time, the service was a bit slow and our waitress went missing on a few occasions. We ordered a pre-made desert to go, and it took 15 minutes to arrive after we paid our check. That said, the dessert was excellent.
Buckley's is well worth a visit. We were instantly greeted and after a short wait we were brought to our table. We had a extremely attentive waiter that had excellent knowledge of the menu. Our meal took a while to come from the kitchen but it was nice to not feel rushed and when the food came it was cooked perfectly and was delicious! The dessert was fantastic too! We found that the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and atmosphere. The occasion was for our 15th Wedding Anniversary, and thus I had requested a seat close to a fire several weeks in advance. However, due to the amount of people, we were seated where there was room, which unfortunately was next to a drafty window, as well as another couple who were obviously inebriated. This other couple had problems with volume control and my wife and I found out more about their personal life than we would have liked to. Definitely took away from the ambiance for us. As usual, the service was outstanding. Our server was timely, knowledgeable and polite. The food was excellent. The steak was very good, but not the best I've ever had, but then again it's hard to beat the beef in Texas!
