Buck & HoneysWe visited on a Friday night.We visited on a Friday night. The fish fry includes cod, haddock and walleye. They can be fried or baked. Each comes with 2 sides. They honored our request that we had to leave by a certain time. Service was friendly, prompt and efficient. The food was very good. The ambience was pleasing. Went for Friday night fish fry and was not disappointed. I would definitely not recommended showing up without a reservation on the weekend as the place was packed. It was quite loud and crowded so I would not recommend it for an intimate dinner. I had the pan fried walleye and clam chowder, both were incredible. My dinner companion had the baked cod and french onion soup which were both great as well. The food is always great and the menu changes several times a year, however the standard dishes that are a hit stay on. There are weekly specials nights like wine night, martini night and several nights have live entertainment. During the warm months the outdoor deck with music and fire pit is GREAT. The staff and owners are wonderful. They have also introduced a "Life Balance" menu for healthier options which I love. The holiday brunch for Easter and Mothers day is great.
