"We will definitely be going back-nice enough for a birthday or celebratory meal, casual enough for a relaxed night out with friends. Servers were very attentive and the menu is expansive enough to reach most diners."

"The Easter Brunch menu at Buck and Honey's was varied and interesting. The prime rib was incredibly tender and the cheesy hash browns (usually available on Friday nights) were soooo good you could just keep eating them forever, but there were plenty of other tempting items. The stuffed chicken breast, in particular, was excellent.

My only caveat was the automatic 18% gratuity on our party of 2 on a buffet, a policy I've never experienced before although I travel and dine out often for business. Our server was friendly, brought drink refills and cleared our plates quite promptly, but I believe the chief value to serving is taking and ensuring the proper fulfillment of the order, not in clearing plates, so 18% on a buffet seems high."

"Excellent pan fried tilapia special. Excellent pizza. The deep fried fish fry was also very good, but a little pricey. The same quality fish fry can be found in the area for a couple of dollars less. Those that had the hashbrowns said they were good, but too much like mashed potatoes. We will definitely be back, but most likely on a night other than Friday to save a few bucks.

Service is top notch!"

"I had only been to Buck and Honey's for the Friday fish fry before, but it was so good I decided it would be a good place to try for my mom's birthday on a Saturday. Everyone in our group was thrilled with their meal and the Honey Martini's were outstanding. The live music was also awesome and we wished we could stay longer to listen to them. We will definitely be going back!"

"Friendly hostesses and wait staff. Very tasty and good value fish fry. Rapid delivery of ordered items. Fairly priced fine wines. We were passing through Madison, and chose Buck & Honey's from Internet reviews. We will not disappointed and will return again when in the area."

"Very good food and service. We eat on a Friday night and of course it's fish fry night in Wisconsin. They were very busy and a little late (10 minutes) to seat us. The food was very good. A great value. Very nice wine selection from low to high end wines (Silver Oaks)."

"My husband and I both had the filet with crab cakes and grilled asparagus. I had mushrooms and onions and hubby had the Mac and cheese as our 2nd side. Everything was cooked to perfection! The filets (medium rare) melted in your mouth, the crab cakes and the sauce with a little kick were some of the best we've had. Our server was a little much with enthusiasm but would rather have that than disinterest or disappearance! we'll go back for sure in the Summer to see how the outdoor fire pit and seating is. Sort of a new sterile neighborhood but example of Sun Prairie growth that will age well over the years."
