"Great Food!!

As always, we really enjoyed our dining experience. The food is very good, especilaly the lasagne and the gigantic 1/2 pound meatballs! The Merlot was also excellent. The cheesecake is highly recommended to all! Wow .. . what a great place for dinner in Thousand Oaks!

"We made reservations for 7:30 p.m. Didn't get to seat til almost 8 p.m. I noticed that hostess was seating other parties. As the other host was seating us I asked why it took so long and he said cuz they were busy. I didn't buy that and I said it's our first time there and should we even bother making reservations next time. After a few minutes, the manager came with an appetizer, apologized and said that the other hostess had missed our name (which I already knew). The waiter was nice and the food was good. After the dinner, the host who lied to me earlier came and apologized for the confusion."

"Eaten here previously and have always had terrific experience. Service this time was worst ever at any establishment. Ordered wine, never got it. Ordered bread, never got it. Had to ask bus boy to get water because waiter unavailable. Had to get help from waiter of adjacent table twice because ours was non-existant. Explained we were celebrating my daughters birthday when initially seated, but had no birthday recognition upon completion of dinner. No dessert offer. Tracked down manager to check."

"For some reason the food seems to have changed. It is good but not great like it was in prior visits. I do not like the fact that the bread is pre cut and the salad dressing is different..not as good. The pizza crust had a different texture as well.

The service on the other hand was terrific.

The table next to us had four children who were terrible. They were running all over the booth, putting their stuffed animals on the walls and in general were loud and obnoxious parents and the parents just sat there drinking their wine. My four year old Granddaughter was quite. She colored and kept asking us why those kids were allowed to scream in the restaurant...I had no answer."
