First time in this location - Summerlin, is a little bit quiter than the other locations I've been to, then again it was a tuesday night (not complaining). Service was great; very attentive and I don't have to wait to ask for anything. The food was ok, they overcooked the calamari, and one of the pasta we've ordered was lacking some sauce. Other than that everything else was good. Again, Buca di Beppo is one of the best place to bring the family or a group for a dinner. We ordered the large short ribs which were tender and great however, the Chianti sauce was too overpowering. The fettuccine was awesome. We also ordered the chocolate chip canolis which weren't my favorite. Hubby enjoyed them though. Would definitely go again with a group.
My husband didn't care for the Ala carte menu. Other than that all was well we had a OK booth were by two couples with children who had to discipline them a lot and during the end of our dinner a large group came in and was loud, but we were leaving soon so enjoy.5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMWe go here quite often. As it happens, they were out of the gorganzola, which was a disappointment, but they substituted feta and saved the day for us. The way the restaurant rose to the moment cements in our minds why we love this place.
