Ambiance, food, and great service made for a memorable evening. All the pictures on the walls brought back some wonderful memories and generated lots of conversation. We have always experienced great food and service at Bucca. Everyone has a great attitude and it shows in the servers enthusiasm. You sure can tell when a restaurant has trained thier employees properly. Our favorites are the chicken limone and the baked ziti but we have had other menu items and were very happy as well. Portions are large even for the bucca small entrees. We normally have one large and one small for four people with a small salad. Service was very good, hot bread w/olive oil & balsamic vinegar was very good. My only complaint was the room temperature, the air conditioning was too cold for me and they do not have outdoor seating. The food is down home family style and always great. Portions are huge, and beer is cold. The chicken Marsala and Lasagna are our favorites. Book the Pope's Room for parties of 12 or more. The food is served family style, so our group of 7 shared 4 large meals - everything was incredible. It's not a huge open floor plan, so you feel like you're in a quaint Italian restaurant all to yourself. Our waitress was knowledgable, nice and extremely attentive.
