Sat us at a table right next to a serving room where waitresses would go in and out of. Only thing separating us was a curtain that would not stay closed. Also the AC kept kicking in and it shouldn't have even been on. It made it uncomfortable to eat. The fried mozzarella was magnificent and the fresh bread was soft and delightful. We ordered a side order of fettuccine alfredo and the manicotti. The alfredo was superb, and my only not so good thing was the manicotti was a little dry and tough from sitting under the heat lamp in the kitchen for a bit to long. Everything else was great, and when my husband mentioned it they offered to give us a free dessert. However we were to full to eat anything, so we didn't order one. The food was excellent; our waitress was very nice. We were a little surprised that they automatically put an 18% gratuity on a party of 7 (we usually thought it was included on a party of 8 or more). Everyone enjoyed the food and you don't feel rushed. We all had time to reconnect and talk and absolutely loved the Linguine Frutti de Mare. First time for either one of them. The meal was great and my mother was even talking about the food the next day. The sever we had (Austin) was great, we had a group of 9 with three kids and never went without anything. She was a wonderful addition to our visit. Highly recommend this place to all. I have been going to Bucca di Beppo several times a year since I've been at school. The pricing seems high at first but isn't so bad when you realize how it works. As a broke college student, I cannot afford to go very often but more as a treat (getting through the quarter, finals week, birthday, Mother's day). The plates cost around twenty bucks each but I can get 3+ meals out of them and I am a growing young man. The service is always great and it is hard to choose off of the menu. It all sounds great. I suppose they had a good time, but what my wife and I had in mind was a quiet wedding anniversary dinner. the anniversary dinner was a lot like the marriage, with all the yelling and commotion - i suppose it was appropriate. They should also show the size the large and small bowls. Holy cow! Also, one of the servers dropped sauce onto a iphone of one of the people in our group. We got an apology, but a comped drink or dessert would have been nice. It was not just a drop either. The whole phone was covered. The phone was fine before we left, but u never know what happens a little while later.
