But at Buca di Beppo on Mothers day was the best service I have ever seen in years. Our waiter was the best!. She was very friendly and helpful.
I booked the reservations about 4 days in advance, and we were able to have a table right when we got there!! Yes, there were people waiting for tables too. They've changed their menu significantly since the last time we were there -- it seems as though the Buca Singles didn't make it very well. Seriously speaking, the only problem that I have with Buca is that they don't make it easy for just a couple to go for dinner when one is vegetarian and one isn't. We ended up with two Buca Small-size entrees and took a LOT of leftovers. The ambiance is usually very loud, so don't plan on having a nice intimate meal there. Server told us that blender was not working. Strawberry Daiquiri (Virgin) and Mandarin Vodka drink tasted bad. Pasta was reasonable-sauce was too liquidy. Appetizers were very good. Food is served family-style, so be really hungry or go with a group. Lots of menu items to choose from, and for us, the food has always been delicious!! Great staff too. My wife & I shared 3 different varieties of lasagna (veggie, chicken and traditional), each of which was very good.
