Bryant Park Grill
Great but can be noisyI love this place for the food, service, ambiance, views. But it gets so crowded during the dinner rush that you can't hear the person next to you. Better off hours.5/14/2013 12:00:00 AMLovely Mother'sDayIt was a bit too chilly to dine outside, however, dining inside was quite nice, too. The room overlooking the park was very pretty and the service, if not elegant, was very pleasant and efficient. The food was generally good, but the ravioli should be in a tastier broth...it was a little bland. All in all it was a nice place to eat...probably great for lunch.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMA lovely place to dine!Came here by recommendation with my mother and grandmother who were visiting from out of town. Not only was I pleased my the delicious food, ambiance and service...so were they! That's hard to beat!! I recommend sitting outside if weather permits. The park is beautiful, and the surroundings are still quiet without missing the hustle and bustle of the city.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMLunch wasgreatTook some employees here for a team lunch and it was a nice break from day to day work. I always enjoy the outdoor seating, added bonus.

At my last visit (with 4 friends), most of us ordered from the appetizer menu The Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and Mushroom Soup were excellent. The service was superb as usual. However, the noise level was quite high. Its really one of our favorite places to go for a special treat. We especially enjoy Celsius during the Christmas holidays. its beautiful.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMEven though I usually enjoyEven though I usually enjoy a small cozy restaurant, I did love the feel of this place with it's beautiful large windows overlooking Bryant Park. It was quite noisy at lunch time when the room was full but we started later and lingered longer so it did quiet down. The hostess found us a lovely corner table by a window which was perfect. I would definitely recommend a late mid-afternoon lunch to anyone who has the time and prefers the quiet.4/22/2013 12:00:00 AMThe pork chops are the bestThe pork chops are the best I have ever eaten anywhere.4/21/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious, delectable and devine. We had a very enjoyable and delicious brunch/lunch. The Bloody Mary was excellent and the food not only tasted wonderful but beautifully presented. Would definitely return. The malbec wine by the glass was also super.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMI've eaten lunch here a numberI've eaten lunch here a number of times and on this occasion it was the best. We had a wonderful waiter, and we weren't rushed even though it was a reunion of four friends and we spent two hours catching up. We all enjoyed the food and wine as well as the service and found that some appetizer portions were enough for lunch for a few of us.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMA very enjoyable experience.A very enjoyable experience. It was warm though, the heat really did not need to be on so high. the table was very tight, although it worked out fine in the end.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMEnjoyed our dinner there.Enjoyed our dinner there. Good food and great service.4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were here for an earlyWe were here for an early dinner on Easter Sunday before heading downtown for a jazz show. The restaurant is lovely with a great view out to Bryant Park. The food was quite good with nice choices for vegetarians. Our waiter was very helpful. I also liked the small but interesting selection of exotic teas. This will definitely be one of my "go to' places in mid town Manhatten. Plus the prices are reasonable. We were here early so it wasn't too noisy but when the bar fills up it gets quite lively.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMHad a great experiance, food,Had a great experiance, food, service and atmosphere was outstanding3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThis place was really good. This place was really good. The service was very professional and the food was better than I expected. I will return.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous location, views & foodThe restaurant overlooks Bryant Park and big glass windows allow a good view from just about every table. The kitchen turns out delicious and innovative dishes and the desserts are super good and attractively presented. Our family was celebrating an event and we wanted an upbeat place where the tables were sufficiently far apart that we could talk and have a great dinner - this was perfect. Prices were reasonable considering the venue and you can certainly pay much more in Manhattan and get a lot less! Really no reservations about recommending this place.3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent service; excellentExcellent service; excellent reasonably priced (for NYC) spot. My go-to place when friends visit NY. Even better in good weather when you can sit outside!3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMMy husband and I have nowMy husband and I have now dined at Bryant Park Grill six times. It has become one of our favourite NYC destinations. Dining there again on March 23rd was a treat as we sat by the windows overlooking the park, and had a wonderful waitress named Betsy who was delightful. I now recommend this restaurant to all of my Canadian friends heading down to Manhattan.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMBeautiful location. Very reasonableBeautiful location. Very reasonable. We were a group of 6 and lucky for us we got a table way in the back where the noise level was better. As an appetizer the fried calamari was great. I had the filet mignon - a big chunk - it was like butter and cooked to medium-rare perfection. Perhaps there could have been a few more fingerling potatoes on the plate but it's easy to get totally distracted by the large meat portion. My husband ordered the 3-flavor sorbet selection and gave me the chocolate and it was to die for. The service was very good, too. We'll be back.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMA Great DestinationA very beautiful, well appointed & open restaurant. A great "scene" with a lot of energy.Outstanding service. Dependable for a good meal. Bring your earplugs though, very loud when it's busy.3/20/2013 12:00:00 AMBryant is great for special ocasionThe food was excellent and the place is awesome!! I had the ravioli with artichoke and was more than satisfied. A fantastic meal. We also had the monk fish appetizer: again, outstanding. The restaurant view, of course, is lovely, looking out at Bryant Park. Service was good but the real draw here is the food. Wow-3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMTerrific menu, The parsnipTerrific menu, The parsnip soup was to die for and love the monkfish (which is hard to find on menus).
