Brunos has become our favorite Italian, though we make the drive from Corona. The food is well prepared, the service is generally top notch, and the desserts are to die for! Yes, we close out our meal with some of the best dessert around. Though they have plenty of promotions and discounts all the time, we seem to never take advantage of that as it is for days we're busy or working, but if you can hop over on one of those days, you will be pleasantly surprised. Arancini, steak, pork chops and desserts are top notch! Glad to see as they have become more popular, the quality of their food or service has not suffered!

Our dining experience was excellent with one significant drawback.....the noise and hyper-stimulation. The dining and conversation would have been thoroughly enhanced if the televisions were eliminated, the music turned off, and the whole ambience dialed way down. The food, however, was just outstanding and left me wanting what I had again and again. Unfortunately, my wife and I won't return until we learn that the tone is turned way, way down.

We really enjoy the food, service, ambience and location. It is great that they take reservations. However, it is just too loud. I had to always lean way forward to hear my companion and then both of us had to talk very loud and repeat ourselves in order to be heard. It is a shame you can't find some way to reduce the noise level. Otherwise, we love the place.

My taste buds are always content with the meals at Brunos. My favorite dish is the salmon, which I repeatedly order, along with the spinach as a side dish. The carpaccio is superb. It is delicately cut and seasoned to perfection. My dinning experience is always topped off with a selection of red wine from their wine list. This is conclusion makes me evening at Brunos superb.

This was our 1st time at Bruno's. It has been difficult to find good Italian food in the area and this one was very good. We had the tri colore salad, scallops and the branzino. The entrees tasted very good and the sides with them complemented the dishes. Everything that we had will entice us to return soon. The server was very good and the pacing of the meal was relaxed as we like it. We did have to hunt someone down for a second cup of coffee, but that did not affect the enjoyment of our meal. We look forward to trying other dishes. Bruno's prepares food with flavor and manages to keep it healthy.

I'd read about this restaurant in several different publications & expected a pretty yummy meal. All dishes were just Ok, and the bruschetta, a sampler of 3 types, had 2 of the types downright bland. I had the pasta w/mushrooms. My husband had the pasta w/wild boar sausage - and we were both disappointed. We took our in-laws, who said it was all good because they'd feel rude complaining. However, our server, Daniella, was absolutely wonderful! Sweet, friendly, attentive - even gave us a free dessert so we'd be sure to taste their specialty. Maybe Sunday night is not their best work??

This is my second time going to Brunos and the consistency of the quality of food is fantastic. I haven't been disappointed with anyone's meals. The only thing I would comment on is the delay of condiments and utensils. We had to search for it on the supply table ourselves. Staff was friendly except for 1 person who didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Otherwise I would definitely come back next time.

Much better than your typical Italian food that you find at places such as BJ's, Yard House, etc. The shrimp/calamari appetizer was excellent as were the pasta dishes we've ordered. For desert, we didn't go with the famous carmel pudding, instead we had the peach cake with vanilla gelato, which was very good.

We dined early on a Sunday, so we're able to snag an outside table where it's quieter than inside. Our waiter was attentive, my lasagna was perfect and the glass of Montepulciano I ordered paired perfectly with it. I shared some of my friend's ravioli which was tasty, but a bit too al dente for me. I also tasted the brussel sprouts that were ordered for the table and while they'd be perfect with just a bit more crispness on the outside, the flavor was really good...and this coming from someone who never orders brussel sprouts! Oh! I can't forget the chocolate bread pudding that my husband ordered...wow! It had cherries inside and was to die for! Moist and packed with flavor, it was a winner! Altogether, a satisfying meal with good friends!

This is a great place for Italian food. Their pick-your-combo $30 dinner including a glass of wine and dessert was a great deal if one of the entrees available suits your taste and appetite. All but one of our party of 5 took advantage of it. Pastas are made right here, as are the desserts. Our waiter was amazing and friendly, service was prompt but not pushy, as we were catching up with family from out of town and took our time. Street parking can be iffy in downtown Brea, but parking structures are convenient and (so far) free!

We arrived and the place seemed nice, then we were seated and the food took some time to prepare. The food was ok, some plates were too salty (I am giving 2 starts because of the risotto) so we had to order something else, then we had to keep asking several time the waitress for bread, vinegar, oils, etc. Also we told three times the waitress that we have a birthday person and she said they will do something with dessert, well we didn't get anything, on top of that when we left I told her that they forgot the birthday treatment and her reaction was rude by saying if we want to take the dessert to go, no apology for forgetting the whole thing. I will skip this place

Three of us dined at Bruno's after going to a movie. We all ordered the tri-color salad and it was outstanding .... one of the best "just greens" salad I've ever had. My husband ordered lasagna, my girlfriend had roast chicken, and I ordered bucatini with wild boar sausage. The three of us sampled each other's dishes and agreed that all were wonderful. My friend's chicken was nice and moist, my husband's lasagna was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the bucatini. For dessert my husband had chocolate gelato, and my girlfriend and I shared a peach tart with vanilla bean gelato. We will definitely return to Bruno's when we are in the area.

I had no idea what type of Italian restaurant this was. The menu was rather small, which did not have much of a choice. Actually, it was not what I expected, and I was rather disappointed. I am a wine snob, and enjoy a nice glass of wine. However, the wine was served in a small fruit juice glass that the water was served in as well .

This was my second time taking my family here for dinner. We love the food and its in a great location. Like last time, we asked for the specials and were lucky to find that they had a duck with mushroom risotto that was right up my wife's alley. It was great although the $28 seemed a bit too much. At our prior visit I had a pasta with lobster and it was outstanding. We recommend getting pasta dishes here as we believe most are made on premises and we've found them to be delicious. Both my daughter and I had the raviolis and we were highly satisfied. The frutti de mare appetizer is our go to and its a real hit with the kids.

Good food and wine, very nice ambiance for local neighborhood restaurant. What made our experience special was the exceptional service. We prefer sitting side by side, only table for two was across from each other. We decided not to wait and sat down. Sophia our waitress was fantastic and the food service was very fast. Amanda however, continued to work on pleasing us and offered to switch our table after about 10 mins. We declined since Sophia had already taken our drink order. Later Amanda came by and changed the table next to us to make our table larger and switched my husbands seat next to mine. It was so unexpected but greatly appreciated. We felt very special and overall couldn't stop talking about the exceptional service.
