"Brunello is a true mixed bag.

The man who seated us and took our credit card at the end was very unwelcoming and unpleasant -- we were stunned and would never go back. Meanwhile, our waiter was excellent.

We presented a dining certificate when we arrived, and our waiter took it. But later when we got the check, there was no reference to the certificate and the man who accepted our payment gave no inkling that he was aware of it, although he took our word for it.

As for the food, the Caesar salad was good, the spaghetti and meatballs were good, and the chicken Marsala was excellent. But that entree was plated with roasted potatoes that were not a bit warm (and there were only two tables of customers)."

"I WAS LOOKING FOR VEAL,SINCE MOST ITALIAN RESTAURANTS IN THE SEATTLE AREA AVOID IT IN THEIR REGULAR MENUS, SO I DROVE OVER 30 MILES TO CHECK IT OUT.

THE DISH WAS EXCELLENT AND THE VEGGIES WERE GREAT AS WELL, AND I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED THE ENTIRE MEAL.

WHAT I FOUND A BIT LACKING WAS THE WAITER'S ATTITUDE. I'M NOT SURE IF HE JUST DISLIKED THE IDEA THAT WE WERE USING A 'COUPON' BUT MOST PLACES THAT OFFER COUPONS THINK NOTHING ABOUT MAKING SURE WE ARE ENCOURAGED TO RETURN SOON AND TELL OTHERS ABOUT THEIR FOOD AND SERVICE.

THIS WAITER MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE OWNER TOO, WAS JUST NOT INTO IT PERHAPS --- AND THUS HE PAID LIMITED ATTENTION TO US OR AT LEAST HE COULD NOT SHOW MUCH INTEREST IN OUR BEING THERE AT ALL.

"We sat in the cold outside for 20 minutes because the table was not ready and there is no room inside the restaurant. They completely ignore our note that we were celebrating a birthday. The owner spent lots of time with his regulars and no time with new customers like us."

"We made a reservation for a special anniversary dinner on a Friday night. We wanted to like this placed. The food was just okay. We were made to feel very rushed to turn our table due to a long line forming at the door. Was not an enjoyable meal. We will not be back."
