specifically asked for. The wine selection, a pino noir, was very good that was suggested by the server. Everyone was attentive to our needs. It was a nice evening to sit outside for a change. Would recommend Brooklyn Cafe to friends and family. It seems to be filled with regulars that are comfortable in their own skin (they outta be, 'cause they all seem pretty successful). The crowd skews older, but fun. The food is always great, and the management is cordial and close-by should you need anything. The drinks are stiff, the wine list is updated and interesting enough. It's far enough away from the center of Atlanta to avoid the expense accounts, so it has a genuine neighborhood vibe (inasmuch as a strip mall in Sandy Springs can be called a neighborhood). The food is amazing, from appetizers to dessert. I have eaten there many times and it is consistently delicious and all dishes are well prepared. We were seated promptly, and greeted by a very efficient and well prepared server. Everyone in our party thought the food and service were excellent. The gaspacho, which had just returned to the menu, was cold crisp and delicious. Considered it more italian flare food. Was pleasantly surprised last weekend when I went with my husband. We both enjoyed the food. Prices reasonable. I enjoyed it so much I took my daughters back on Tuesday for my daughter's birthday treat. (By the way have not received my points for this)

Always very satisfied whether we go with friends or for a special occasion. We like the menu choices. Food and wines were outstanding, service was great - truly an upscale but comfortable ambience, at reasonable prices. Truly a "neighborhood gem", as we ran into several friends while dining! The only drawback was that the weather was rainy and chilly and sitting on the enclosed patio was uncomfortable and crowded. If you are going to spend that much money on food and beverage for a special occassion, you want it to be perfect.
