A word from Broadway Joe Steakhouse

In 1949, Joe Moreno opened the doors to his restaurant, temporarily calling it "Broadway Joe" - because his name was Joe and he was on block away from Broadway. In 1953 looking for a typical New York restaurant, a film crew shooting the "FBI Story" with Jimmy Stewart, choose to feature "Broadway… Joe" in an unforgettable scene.
In 1970, Joe Namath, famous quarterback of the New York Jets, acquired the nickname "Broadway Joe" and frequented the restaurant and brought sports legends, as well as stars from Broadway shows to dine here. Over the years, Broadway Joe Steakhouse has been immortalized in books and described as a famous New York landmark.Continued

"We have dined at Broadway Joe's several times and we are never disappointed. Whether ordering from the Prix Fixe menu, the specials or the regular menu, we are always pleased! Service is very attentive, yet not overbearing!"

"Ambiance was cozy. Seated us even though we were 15 minutes late. Restaurant was not crowded. I ordered prix fixe dinner. Ceasar salad was tastless, only flavor was grated cheese sprinkled on top. Entre, filet mignon medallions. There was only one medallion, it looked like a hamburger, flat and had little flavor itself but it was drowned in mushroom gravy. My friend order grilled salmon. That too had a bad taste.
I would not go back or recommend this restaurant."

"Although we had 6:30pm reservations, we arrived at 5pm and they graciously sat us. Our show got out earlier than we thought. We did order apple martinis and got something else, otherwise, the food was delicious and we would go back again."

"My wife & I were in NY to celebrate our first wedding anniversay. We had tickets to see "Wicked" and were looking for a great place to have lunch. I found Broadway Joe's Steakhouse online and we were both very pleased with the food & service. Great Job!"
