The chocolate lava cake is excellent. The service was great. We had a very charming server who took very good care of us. There were 3 of us there for dinner and we all enjoyed it."

  • "The Broadway Grill was a very nice, attractive spot. The service was fast. The waitress was polite and competent. I thought the food was only average. My wife and I had prime rib which was ok but nothing special. The chocolate cake was very good. I plan on going back and trying something else for dinner. The live music was very nice."

  • "Lovely ambiance, reminiscent of the elegant 40's era. Amazing food and LOVE the music each evening. Lovely evening out for all ages!"

  • "After work weekday dinner: I had the caesar salad add shrimp. Good, the dressing was a bit lacklustre could have used a kick. My companion had the cobb salad and seemed to like it. We may want to try the brunch some weekend..."

  • "Food and service good. Priced right for brunch. The live music ruined our father's day adventure. So loud couldn't hear myself think, let alone carry on conversation. Requested and were reseated ion the second floor where the sound was a tad softer only to be all but forgotten by the wait-person. Did request they turn the sound down a tad. First told that it was loud to cover the din of diners, then told that their system wasn't working. Would have been alright if we were there for drinking and grooving to the music. For brunch it was a bust. Not do that again."

Dinner: Nightly entertainment makes BWG unique, offering something for everyone on any given night. Consistently great farm-to-table food with generous portions. Monday and Friday nights the BWG offers a truly fun, party like atmosphere with live music and amazing talent and sounds of Preston and Pure Ecstasy. Sunday Brunch: Simply the best in the area!"

  • "In my party of three, two of us were gluten free. We were given many options. We each ordered something different and sampled each other's. All of the food was heavenly! The shepherd's pie was the best I'd ever tasted! The prime rib was outstanding. The trout was delicious. The portions were humongous, but it all tasted so good we stuffed ourselves. We did manage to take home one small portion of shepherd's pie, but only because we were too stuffed to take another bite. Seriously good food. I'm glad I don't go often, only because my waistline would completely disappear. ... Also, the live music was lovely. All-in-all ... It was a wonderful dining experience!"

  • "I've been here a couple of times for dinner. Food is good, but not exotic. The first time I had Clam Chowder (very creamy) and the second time I had a burger and wedge salad. My friend has the chicken pot pie, which was ginormous. There's a decent drink list, too. The atmosphere is definitely energetic -- lots of big groups and private parties. I recommend getting a booth, if possible, to kept down the noise a bit. Great place for live jazz, too."

  • "Motown Monday is great! Wonderful live music by Pure Ecstasy!"

  • "We went to Motown Mondays and loved it! We were there to celebrate a few birthdays, graduations and new jobs. The menu prices are a bit high, but the food is good. The entertainment is always fun & the drinks are strong. I've been here years ago with a large party of friends and had a great time. This round I brought my grown kids and their significant others. We will be back!"

  • "It seems as though some things have changed at Broadway Grill. The food is still excellent as is the ambiance. Have you changed the food selection and omitted some things from the menu?"

  • "Friday night is an amazing experience. This is one of our favorite places. The staff is always great. They changed the menu do we were a little worried but then very pleased and delighted. We celebrated our granddaughter's 9th bday there on Friday and had the most amazing time. The band involves everyone and they are simply wonderful. Sound great. Not to loud. Play terrific music. We will definitely be back. Kudos to manager and all staff"

  • "We tried the Mother's Day Brunch and it was disappointing. Menu wasn't very exciting and the restaurant is too small to set up adequate brunch area where people aren't lined up next to people dining. The Jazz music and open windows with fresh air was wonderful. We would come back to order off the regular menu."

  • "Their service is great and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the night and were surprised to enjoy singing from a Dean Martin impersonator. Awesome night!"

  • "We happened to be there on Monday night and enjoyed the Monday Night Motown. We were from out of the area. We did not know there would be live entertainment, it was so much fun. Food was great, service top notch, and a friendly place to be. We had the flank steak, cooked perfectly! We would go again!"

  • "We use to dine at the Broadway grill once or twice a month. We stopped at the beginning of the year as they had drastically changed their menu and dramatically raised their prices. So, last Friday we decided to give them another try. We were surprised to see that the menu had changed drastically again this time offering a lot of burger choices beside grill and seafood. The prices were back to normal too. We had reservations at 6pm and there was no one there. Their menu changes obviously cost them. However, by 7:30 when we left, most of the tables were full. Our dinner was very good - old fashion meatloaf! If you had stopped dining there too, give them another try. They did listen to their customers!"

  • "Our family had a gift certificate for this restaurant, so reservations were made. We went for an early Sunday dinner, to allow for an early workday on Monday. We were surprised by the décor, lots of wood and wrought iron rails. Beautiful linen table settings. Everyone was working to prepare for the dinner crowd. I noticed that other family's came in and the booths were great for private seating. The before dinner drinks were excellent. The chopped salad was spectacular and the prime rib, steak and hamburger were all cooked as ordered. The vegetables and potatoes were fresh and excellently cooked as well. There was some musicians that came in to play Jazz for later diners, and we were able to catch a few tunes. Great ambiance. "

  • "We had a gift certificate so we tried it. We had the prime rib 9 oz dinner. We shared a Caeser. It was satisfactory. The meat was good perfect medium rare, but my piece was very fatty and gristly. I took all those pieces home to the dogs. They were delighted. The jazz combo was good, but too loud."

  • "Broadway Grill knows how to cook their food to perfection. My only suggestion is that the distance across the table between 2 people is too big; it's a little difficult to have an intimate talk with the table bring so long. "

  • "This was a very disappointing dinner. The food was mediocre at best. The salads were drenched in dressing and the short ribs and meat loaf were both very salty. Our teenage kids had the pasta and a steak which were better but nothing special. The service was also subpar. While plates were delivered and removed promptly our main server was very inattentive. We will not be going back."

  • "They really make an effort here. We had dinner with friends & didn't realize the band was playing so hard to hear conversation. The service was great & they made the salmon exactly as we wanted. Only problem - yes- wild salmon, but tasted a little mushy since must have been frozen. We should have realized. But everyone's food was good."

  • "A couple of 1st timers. Calamari with sliced peppers, as well as the prime rib dinner were equally tender & awesome!! We WILL be back!!"

  • "The website made everything look and sound so fabulous. It is really cute from the outside, but crowded and cramped on the inside. It's fixed up like an old style parlor. The food was okay, not very fresh. You could tell most of the items were frozen then cooked to order. Even the dessert cake had developed a hard coating like it had hung around a little too long, The mac & cheese was the best thing. Also, there was supposed to be live music but instead we got a C-List Dean Martin Impersonator. I had to send my mojito back because it wasn't made properly. Also, the lime garnish was so brown and slimy, it was obviously a few days old. The server did her best to accommodate us so I will give this place a few points for that."

  • "Nothing overdone...staff was very friendly..food was very good...it was just a solid night out and really good dinner...I had a rib eye which was done fine bit nothing over the top about it. If the choice is between fries and baked potato I would rather have my fries be crisp and be steak fries not mushy string type fries. And the music was better when motown was playing instead of in house singer...but all that said it was a solid night out and I would go back again but not out of my way to get there"

  • "The staff was very friendly and attentive. The complimentary garlic balls were amazing. The wedge salad, on the other hand, was pretty pitiful for $8. The lettuce was wilted and there was very little of it. The main course, however, was excellent. I had the 12-ounce prime rib. And although it was not the most tender and flavorful I have ever had, it was still very tasty. The baked potato was huge and came with generous amounts of both butter and sour cream. I'm not entirely sure what the vegetables were, but I enjoyed them. I was too full for dessert. The prices are definitely high. But I was really in the mood for prime rib."

  • "Our table was ready when we arrived, the service was great and the food was excellent. Portions were more than adequate and since we ordered 3 different entrees, we got to try each one. All dishes were amazing. Lovely room and friendly staff. Quick service and great coffee too. Staff was very attentive but not imposing, water glasses were filled promptly, orders were taken professionally and several staff members checked on us before, during and after the meal to see if everything was OK (it was) and if we wanted anything else (we did). Easy in and out for our mobility challenged guest also Great location and a fantastic place for a Saturday Lunch - forget going out for Sunday Brunch - you will enjoy the Saturday feast in leisure"

  • "This was our second trip to the Broadway Grill for Sunday brunch. While I noticed that they no longer advertize the Jazz Brunch, it was there all the same and we thoroughly enjoyed the music. We love the unique decor. It makes you feel as though you have stepped back in time and perhaps even traveled to the French Quarter. The food is delicious, the eggs/omelets are cooked to perfection, the bacon is crisp, and the waffle with sauteed strawberries and pecans will please anyone with a sweet-tooth. In both visits our waiters were attentive and made sure we got good value from our bottomless mimosas. Highly recommend to brunch lovers in range of this Bay Area gem."

  • "Given they have to pay entertainers, food prices are reasonable. Drinks are overpriced, $3.00 coffee, $8.00 Kahlua shot. All you can drink Mimosas for $12 are reasonable"

  • "We decided to try Broadway Grill since we heard a few good review. We usually go to the House of Prime Rib in San Francisco, but too hard to get reservation and you usually have to wait an hour to be seated, even when you have made a reservation. Broadway Grill was slow for a Saturday evening. We had the prime rib, but it didn't live up to all the reviews. The prime rib had too much salt on the outer edge. We could only eat the center section and left the otter edges alone, where usually that we're all the great flavors are... Our waitress offer us a bowl of au jus to mask the salt flavor. We were amazed that the restaurant didn't offer us a new slice instead. Maybe it was just a bad night for them, a new chef or a bad restaurant."

  • "I went to celebrate a friend's birthday one afternoon. The salads and sandwiches are great there. The garlic butter mini rolls are a must. I go there just for the chopped salad but am shocked that it's now $17 - for a salad? It used to have grilled corn and when I asked the waiter doesn't it have corn he said no. Instead of offering to add corn (they have it on other menu items) I had to ask if he would kindly have them add it to the my salad. Also commented in my original Open Table reservation that it was a friend's birthday. I also called the restaurant to ask for something special for her birthday. Dessert came and went and nothing was ever brought out. Big disappointment."
