  • "Broad Street Grille's Low Country Boil was amazing. It is the 2nd time my wife and I have gone to it. It is the last Friday of the month and if you can go, do it. The crab legs and shrimp were fantastic and the service is always friendly and proficient."

  • "I made a reservation for a breakfast work meeting with my whole department. I had called ahead to check the menu, because several in our party have special diets. I was told there was a huge variety of food selections. However we were very disappointed with the selections when we arrived. There was very little food out, hardly any fruit, and a long wait if you wanted a waffle, or omelet. I am not sure if it was the time of day we arrived, but the food was very limited. The waitress was nice and friendly, and what food we had was good. We were just disappointed at the limited amount of food available."

  • "Friends took me to show me the "best brunch spot in Chattanooga." Beautifully decorated, very contemporary, and open space. Brunch buffet was great! Huge variety and everything was delicious! Service was very subpar. Waited 10 minutes to get drinks and had to ask several times for a refill because server would forget. My group was on dessert when our dirty salad plates were finally picked up. They were short staffed for the crowd in the restaurant. Like I said, the buffet was great, but the set up (like a U-Shape) was a little difficult to maneuver through. Buffet was also not clean or very well kept. Items were consistently low or out for long periods of time and it literally looked a mess. Great food, but needs improvements."

  • "I made a Saturday lunch reservation for 8 plus a high chair. We arrived-they had a table for 6 set up; they scrambled to combine 2 tables for us in the nearby empty restaurant. Once we were seated a server came to ask for our drink orders. But we hadn't been given menus yet. She took several minutes to get menus; we had to ask twice for a kid's menu. Serving us seemed an imposition on her. She never greeted us or introduced herself. The menu had fewer options than I had seen online. The buffet didn't look like anything special so we ordered from the menu. It was all very awkward and off-putting, but finally our food arrived & was quite good. Will I go back? Most likely not. Other places in Chattanooga have better food & much better service"

  • "I booked BSG for our 12th wedding anniversary and was very disappointed. I booked BSG because it had a formal gluten-free menu for my wife who has celiac's disease. On arriving, I was told that there was not an alternative menu, but that the waiter would work with the kitchen to accommodate. The server claimed to me knowledgeable about celiac's and gluten, but he brought out the first appetizer for my wife with crusty bread on the plate. This was compounded when he asked about whether she could have cheesecake and then brought out a trifle with brownie in it. Beyond GF issues, my wife's entree (steak) tasted awful. Management was defensive about it. They offered to replace the entree, but we had a show to make. No return planned."

  • "Broad Street Grill had an amazing food bar that evening. It was low country night and I had wonderful crab legs, shrimp, potatoes and seafood gumbo. The salad and desserts were fantastic as well. Our waiter could not be more helpful and attentive. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant."

  • "Our server (Robert) was fabulous and took wonderful care of us during our meal. We had the low country boil buffet. It was good but not quite up to their normal standards. The shrimp and crab seemed too over cooked. Otherwise the rest of the meal was excellent. We also have enjoyed the Sunday brunch buffet and found it to be outstanding. It is a very nice place to dine and enjoy a great meal."

  • "Food was good. No one was there. Hotel dining room, which was not clear to us from reviews. Wine we chose was unavailable and waiter didn't know price of three others he brought out. Soup was not what it was billed to be. Just a very weird experience and it felt strange eating in a restuarant with three other people. Food was good, but definitely not inexpensive."

  • "We went to Broad Street Grille for our anniversary. It was very quiet and romantic. The Saturday Date Night menu was very reasonable for a large amount of food and a bottle of wine. Our favorite was the blue crab dip appetizer! The service was excellent. We will certainly come again. It is a Chattanooga gem!"

  • "Very good food, Robert provided A++++ service! An unexpected fire alarm (no fault of BSG) ended my Wife's 60 Birthday dinner abruptly. We will return but we were disappointed that we did not get to finish the night as planned... "

  • "My husband & I went there the other evening to celebrate our anniversary, & it was probably one of the best nights out in quite a while. Our server, Robert Henry, was super fantastic! Very friendly & helpful, there when we needed him but not over-bearing. Awesome experience!! Thank you BSG!"

  • "While the two servers for our party of 13 were friendly, they also had several other tables which meant waiting for service as they helped their other custormers. The line to the buffet was so long that half of our party did not receive an entree. Instead, they were able to reach the salad and dessert bars only. The food on the entre was okay, but not great. The gnocche tasted like glue balls and the baked asparagus label was misleading as it was only broccoli. It was very disappointing for me as we were celebrating a college graduation."

  • "4 courses of beautifully balanced food. 1. Spring pea soup 2. Beet & greens salad 3. Roasted quail 4. Lamp chops. Portions were sized just perfectly to give you enough to satisfy, yet not so much that you're too full to enjoy the next course. Being at a reunion, our group of 6 enjoyed a table in the back so that we could be as loud as we wanted to without disturbing other diners. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for older people wanting an elegant dinner without breaking the bank. $ 29.00 tasting menu - worth every penny. The decor (carpeting, drapes and fabric) offer a sound absorbing environment making it easy to hear."

  • "I was very disappointed, too many people at the buffet, very loud and the food was mediocre at best. Cracker barrel would have been a much better choice. "

  • "The Two Stars shouldn't be viewed as a failure, but rather a note that this wasn't the place for us. We chose to leave based on the environment and perceived atmosphere rather than food quality or service over the course of a meal. This is a hotel establishment. When we arrived we realized there was no need for a reservation. There were only a few tables seated in an area that had dozens of tables. We got the menu which was not what we had seen on-line as it was "Steak Night". Steak is a dish I eat at few restaurants because seldom do they meet my standards. They did offer to bring us other menus. We sat there for a minute and my wife and I both knew it wasn't the place for us. Too Big. Too Empty. Too Quiet."

  • "Food & service was very good - we were the only ones in a restaurant that could hold a hundred- atmosphere could be improved by turning lights down and pulling shades to and are that didn'tt really have a view of anything!"

  • "My husband and I went to celebrate our 24th anniversary at BSG and it was amazing. Our server, Glenn, was on top of everything and very informative! Loved it and will be back."

  • "My boyfriend and I were in Chattanooga visiting my family and chose Broad Street Grille for a late dinner. The restaurant was quiet as it was nearly 9:30 when we arrived, and I was worried the staff may not be excited to see us... that was absolutely not the case! Our server was very personable and prompt. The food was wonderful - honestly the best chicken dish I have had in a restaurant! The "duck fat roasted potatoes" were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The chef stepped out to our table to say hello and we were more than happy to provide compliments to the chef. Anyone living in or visiting Chattanooga should definitely add Broad Street Grille to their list of places to go!"

  • "My wife and I had to celebrate Valentine's on Saturday, and the date night menu did not disappoint. The blue crab dip and cheeseboard were great appetizers. My wife had baked chicken w/lobster Mac & cheese, and I had the braised ribs w/cauliflower purée. Both were outstanding! Braised rib was melt in your mouth good. Great red wine with the meal too. An excellent meal for the money."

  • "The seated us on a Friday night which wasn't even busy. We sat there for 20 minutes and didn't even have someone get our drink order. We got up and left. NEVER going back here again."

  • "On our visit, it happened to be a "date night" menu. There was a decent food selection, however the quality was not what I would have expected for the cost. We were happy that we had a gift certificate to cover part of the cost. Service was friendly, but a little slow. This could be a great place if the food was better. We most likely will not return."

  • "This was the 3rd visit to BSG. Typically the service and food has been very good. This past visit was a little noisy for our planned romantic dinner, and the server was a little overwhelmed with the amount of tables he was given. However, this was an isolated incident of our three visits, and we have already made reservations again."

  • "Hats off to the Chef the choices and food were excellent. Our server was always in a hurry, didn't know the menu choices well, left our champagne glasses empty, and we felt rushed. Overall an enjoyable dinner."

  • "I was disappointed in the choices that were given for our special Valentine evening. My husband got the scallops which he enjoyed. I ordered the bison because it was the only other choice besides chicken and I can eat chicken at home. After I got the bison, I wished that I had ordered the chicken. I could not eat the bison. It was tough and almost sour. But, since our waiter never came to check on us after we were served, I did not have the opportunity to change my meal. He seemed more interested in tables around us who were evidently his regulars. He finally returned to bring us our dessert choice. My chocolate bread pudding was inedible and hard as a rock. Not a good choice for a special evening...AND, "Prix fixe" was $90 a couple"

  • "The food: taste was extraordinary and presentation delightful. Service was outstanding. I don't care so much for the open air ambiance, but there is sufficient "distance" between tables."

  • "The Broad St. Grille offers a special meaning to "living the good life" occasionally. The five-course menu on Valentine Day, with complimentary champagne, was special. The food and service has always been exceptional each time we visited."

  • "Searching for a new place to dine before going to a play, and looked the Broad Street Grille. Very pleasantly surprised. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, clean and everyone appeared very professional. The table was ready at the requested time and the servers were on top of every need. They were well versed in the menu offerings and provided the detail necessary to make our choices. The food was presented very nicely and tasted as great as it looked. Ingredients were fresh and paired well with the menu offerings. Will definitely return, and bring others with us."

  • "First time at BSG. Went on steak night (Fridays). Three of us ordered the prime rib which said it had been marinated for 3 days - didn't taste any marinade. The prime rib had an unusually high amount of fat. Fourth diner had the ribeye. None appeared to be high grades of beef. Description of ribeye was that it was served with oven roasted potatoes, but came with mashed potatoes. They were out of the first wine ordered."
