Brix Restaurant and Wine BarFirst Stop Back in FlagstaffIn summer we not only escape from Phoenix, but TO Brix. We love the creative menu and casual elegance. Our server also happened to be the bar tender, yet she managed to be available for questions, and even chit chat, despite bar duties. Our meal was superb. We shared one entree (risotto), an appetizer (summer squash soup), salad (a perfect Caesar - a compromise - I wanted the beet), and desserts (orange blossom brulee), and had left overs for lunch. For once I ignored the amazing wine list in favor of a martini, and wasn't sorry. We'll make it back again before we leave town, if only because I need to try one of their super creative signature cocktails.5/19/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat RestaurantA neighborhood gem. Our first visit and we were not dissapointed. Great food and drinks.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMReally Good FoodKinda cramped inside eating area, wished we would have chosen outside. Our first time so not sure of a consistent menu, however there was a limited number of entrées. The duck breast and plolenta was excellent. The trout was small but very good. Dessert with Flourless chocolate cake hit the spot. Not kid type of foods...unless adventurous. We'll go back when in town.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMBrix delivers again!Brix is our favorite restaurant in Flagstaff and we make it a point to eat there every time we're in town. The menu is interesting, albeit somewhat limited, and every dish is well prepared and delicious. My only wish is that Brix had a few more appetizers/starters on the menu that people can share. But that's a minor flaw compared to the overall experience. So if you're up for a memorable meal, this is the place to go.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMFantasticEating at Brix is an entire experience! There is ambience, great service, off the richter scale food, and a fantastic wine list. I couldn't recommend it any higher.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMOutstanding experience everythingOutstanding experience everything was great although slow at being seated5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMDelightful GemFlagstaff is blessed to have such a quaint spot to enjoy such fine dining. The service is impeccable and the food is outstanding.5/6/2013 12:00:00 AMvery enjoyable meal; and wellvery enjoyable meal; and well worth the price. Flagstaff's best restaurant.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMWe had a great meal and theWe had a great meal and the service was terrific. Unfortunately there was a very loud, nerdy engineer that we had to listen to. My husband has been a software engineer at a large tech company for 30 years and he wasn't impressed. However, we would go back.4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFlag is luckyBeing from Napa and accustomed to superb restaurants and wine, we are rarely blown away by restaurants in small towns. This was outstanding from the wine list to the cuisine. They even attempted to make short espresso drinks for us, which were nearly perfect aside from the fact that they had recently downgraded from Illy Brand to a local Sedona espresso, which while not up to Illy standards was nevertheless decent. The service was friendly and attentive. Flagstaff is lucky to have such an outstanding restaurant, and we regard this much more favorably than the namesake here in Yountville.4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMVisiting "Brix" is addictive!!!Dining First Class in Flagstaff?
No problem: "Brix" exceeds all expectations.
Over the past six years I've come to Brix every time I was in Flagstaff.
And I was never disappointed: the creativity of the kitchen, the performance of the bar and the relaxed friendliness of the service was top notch every time I was there.
It even improved over the years.
It's worth every dollar!3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMLimited Space. Be preparedLimited Space. Be prepared to be dinning with company.
Great food, good presentation. Out of stock on certain wines? Wine prices were high in my opinion.3/24/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful dining experienceThe obviously take great pride in the quality of their dishes and the satisfaction of their customers.
