Flat Iron steak was perfectly done and very tasty. Discovered another good red wine there. Happens everytime I go there. Service was excellent, our waitress was friendly and helpful without being hovering. My only complaint was that the menu online did not reflect the actual menu available. The champagne cocktail in the face page online was no longer available nor was the chocolate desert I'd been hoping. Need to update their web page more frequently. Our waitress, Carrie, was very helpful and friendly. She had recommendations, when we asked for her opinion, and was just an overall gem. A glass of Sparkling champain was given to us as we selected our meal and the atmosphere was very nice. I liked that it wasn't to loud and thought everyone looked to be enjoying themselves. The arugula salad and tomato soup we had for appetizer's were very good. The main course was the double pork chop for me and the Boeuf Bourguignon for Liz. I thought hers was excellent, and mine was ok. I didn't care for the greens, to gritty. We had a nice little table tucked away in the corner waiting for us with two glasses of complimentary bubbly (after ID check of course). I would say attire should be in the range of cocktail and informal. All the staff that waited on us were very professional and friendly. The food was top notch as well, delicious and edgy. The attention to detail mixed with new spins on classic dishes makes for one decadent dining experience. 1 app, 2 entrees, 2 desserts, 1 coffee, 1 cosmo + tip = just under $100. I am proud to say Gig Harbor has got a new restaurant for those seeking an intimate and romantic night out. Will definitely be back.3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellence Revisited (Again)We've lost track of the number of times we have dined at Brix 25 on both special occasions and for no other reason than we wanted a great meal on a given day. As always the menu has some interesting and tasty twists to it using local ingredients. The service is always friendly and prompt without being obsequious, a nice plus when having a quiet conversation with the love of your life. Their wine list is extensive and can be a bit on the pricey side but then no one is making you buy a bottle or even a glass for that matter. The welcoming glass of bubbly always sets a nice tone for a great meal. Brought a cake that they not only cut but added lit candles! Food was amazing and well worth the price. Read previous reviews that the waitstaff could be snooty, but that was not our experience. Very attentive and pleasant staff, water and wine glasses were never allowed to be empty. The champagne was fantastic, we ordered a whole bottle. The service was fantastic and so was the mood of the restaurant.
