  • "For a light lunch, I very much enjoyed the Achiote Fish Tacos. Perfect balance of flavors with the avocado and mango! I chose the slaw as the seasonal side and it was okay, but not very flavorful. Not a huge fan of Key Lime pie and trying a taste of my mom's dessert did not win me over. Seemed pretty standard/average. The crust looked and tasted store-bought not freshly prepared. Overall, I'm happy we chose Bristol Seafood for a birthday lunch with my family. "

  • "This restaurant does try to be a 4 star restaurant, but everything looks and tastes like something I did in Culinary School. It is not bad, it is always just OK. We had the same server twice, and it is like he is on speed, and not very professional. This place is like a kid you want to see do well, but just does not have the skills to do so. A+ for trying, but D- for the job."

  • "My wife and I went to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. This was our 6th visit to Bristol. I like the variety of seafood choices on the menu. This time I had the grilled salmon and my wife had a 6 oz. petite filet from the twilight menu. I like that they give you this option. It is a nice value ( salad, entree and dessert for $21-$27). My salmon could have used a touch more seasoning but was cooked perfectly, and my wife let me have a bite of her filet, and it was excellent. My wife had a glass of wine while I just had a glass of ice water. Our total bill came to $69 before gratuity. Overall, our experience was exactly we expected. A romantic dinner at a fairly reasonable price."

  • "This place is beautiful, has excellent service and outstanding food. The menu is substantial and the highlight is the daily seafood specials that are flown in twice a day. I didn't love the marlin I chose on my last visit, but it was prepared exactly as requested and the rest of the meal was wonderful. The mussels and calamari we ordered for appetizers were great. Highly recommended."

  • "We had special requests ( room for baby in car seat and birthday celebration) that were acknowledged perfectly. Our server was excellent . We were pleased with a Sunday wine special (bottles <$100 were half price). On previous visits we have always been very happy with food. On this visit the salads were over dressed, someone was heavy-handed with pepper on shrimp and green beans and fillet was ok but not as good has we have had before. Cookie box dessert was loaded with delicious cookies but creme brûlée was not a good consistency and disappointing. Our server offered to replace foods that were not to our liking but when you have a baby with you, time doesn't allow for do-overs and we had the expectation of first time successes."

We love fish and my husband and I agreed that the fresh grilled halibut we had on Saturday night was memorable. The waiter was very knowledgeable about each fish entrée and recommended it. We were delighted with the choice."

  • "I cannot believe I have lived here for twenty years and have just discovered Bristol Seafood Grill. I grew up in New England and have sadly missed an abundance of seafood restaurant choices. This was one of the best seafood meals I have had in my lifetime. From the rolls to the desserts and everything in between, just phenomenal, including the friendliness and service of the wait staff. It truly exceeded all our hopes and expectations. I enjoyed the mixed seafood grill which included their jumbo crab cakes, more crab than cake, served with a mango tartar sauce. Their pairings are so creative and so delicious - save room for the lava cake with hazelnut ice cream."

  • "The orange juice was warn, the hot tea was cold. The brunch selection was very very poor. The dessert table had what appeared to be a store bought carrot cake. Absolutely no danish available. Their version of sea food was a large bowl of shrimp with watered down cocktail sauce.I have been to brunch at Bristol's on several occasions, this was by far the worst. I have been coming to Bristol's for over 10 years, this was by far the worst dining experience. What happened did they change Management. Hilton Frontenac here I come."

  • "I had the $21 special before 5:30 p.m. - Birthday Celebration Meal. The food is always great and served "hot" on my many other visits. Unfortunately, on this special occassion, the food was not the best. The food was not hot, just warm; clam chowder was a little salty and was not hot enough. The steak was underseasoned, no garlic butter crust that adds flavor. ;( Overall, the waiter did his best. The guy going around serving biscuits kept passing me by when my plate was empty. ;("

  • "This was our second visit to Bristols. we went for the excellent seafood. however, this time our table was in a very noisy area, not relaxing. though the food was good, the high price for our meal made me think twice about frequenting this place. Also, I paid $12.50 for a glass of wine ( a good one,) but it did seem skimpy ( they said it was 6 oz !) and overpriced. The service on both occasions however, was excellent with knowledgeable and friendly staff."

  • "On the spur of the moment my husband and I decided to go to Bristols- it had been ages since we ate here. We both enjoyed our Caeser salads - loved the lacey parmesan cheese cracker on top. We both ordered Surf and Turf. My filet was cooked medium but was extremely dry, the crab cake was fine. My husband's filet was cooked rare and naturally was juicy with great scallops. I'm not sure what seasoning they use on the steak, but it wasn't my favorite. They had a great choice of vegetables which is unusual and much appreciated. We had an enjoyable dinner, nothing really bad, but nothing outstanding either. The service was perfect without being annoying."
