  • "We recently celebrated our anniversary there and would come back again. We were treated well and enjoyed good food and service."

  • "After too much hot dogs and brats the day before, it was great to have a nice sit down meal. Wait Evan was fantastic, hustling in a very positive way. From wine to dessert, everything was fab!"

  • "Being in the restaurant business myself, I was excited to try a new place and Brio came with very high recommendations. We started with a bottle of wine at the bar and had very friendly service from Kathy and Jay. Later, we sat down for dinner, but unfortunately that is where the disappointment began. We were all impressed with the embiance and food of the restaurant, but felt very rushed when it came to ordering. In addition, our server told us (with a smile), before we were done with our coffee and paying, that SHE WAS LEAVING and would have someone watch the table. I found this a bit unacceptable since we were at the table for less than an hour and a half. We will be back, but this might be a point to bring up to your servers."

  • "Loved the authentic taste of Tuscany hidden right in Lombard. The wine menu was extensive and impressive - the Wente Riesling was the BEST I have ever had! The food menu was great as well, in that those who are more health-conscious have just as delicious options as those who are not. There really is something fantastic for everyone. Jay, our server, was personable, knowledgeable, and enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant was comfortable, classy and upscale. Will definitely recommend and return!"

  • "Perhaps it was the holiday weekend that was the reason for the less than attentive service. The restaurant was not full (we had 5:00PM reservation), but our server was not to be found except to take our order and to present the bill. Unfortunately, that does set the tone for the experience. Food, however, was as always, very good."

  • "We have been to this location twice, both while in town for a martial arts tournament. It is a great place to have a good meal the day before competing. This night it was not too busy and we had nice time."

  • "Celebrated a 50th Wedding Anniversary for lunch on a Sunday. Restaurant was gracious and helped us make the day for the "bride and groom" very special."

  • "Food was very good and plenty of variety. Very loud though. You can still have a conversation as long as you are close but not without noticing the amount of background noise, from voices of others, that almost echoed. I believe this has to do with the somewhat open design of the dining room and the number of hard surfaces. Needs to add either more loose fabrics and/or more natural elements - water, plants, etc. to absorb the sounds. A few more touches to cozy the spaces up might also limit the travel of the sound."

  • "Had an early dinner in the outdoor patio area. Food was very good and the service match the food. Selections were varied and all sounded good. Nice outdoor patio on the north side of the building and therefore the sun is not an issue."

  • "We had a great lunch outside however the waitress was not attentive to our needs. Perhaps she was having a bad day"

  • "We enjoy going to Brio to celebrate birthdays. We are 4 ladies who worked together and they let us sit and talk. It is so nice not to feel that you have to leave....and besides that the food and service are great."

  • "We've been going to Brio for years. My 7 year old twins love it, as do the adults. We've have special occasions there as well as impromptu lunch/dinner. Consistently great food and ambiance."

  • "We had a very enjoyable evening at Brio on Saturday night with friends. Their outdoor venue is very comfortable, and both the food and quality of service received added to the positive experience."

  • "We went for a late dinner and the place was pretty empty. Started out with a really good Peach Palmer drink. The appetizer we had, Crab & Shrimp Fonduta, was really good except for the crisps they included for dipping. They tasted stale to me. Service was very attentive. We would go back again."

  • "This was our first time at Brio and it will not be the last. The dining hall was bright and cheerful; elegant and sophisticated. The menu included a number of gluten free items. My husband ate from the regular menu, I ate from the gluten free menu and both were delicious. The service was responsive and attentive at the right time. The manager made sure to stop at each table."

  • "Not a great service. Had to wait a lot once order is placed"

  • "Our service was ok, never came back to check for 2 nd drinks . Peach belkini great, sangria and mojito not that fresh. Had to wait for outdoor dining, reservations don't matter. Prices really high for small portions . But ambiance better than other things . "

  • "Brio is a great spot for lunch (or dinner). The food is great and the ambiance is nice. We have always had nice service as well. In the summer it is fun to sit outside on the patio. "

  • "I've been to Brio several times and am never disappointed. The servers are friendly and attentive but not "in your face", the food is fresh and delicious and the restaurant is stylish and sizable, yet cozy. Prices are very reasonable when the food quality and portion sizes are taken into account. "

  • "I made a reservation on OpenTable and we arrived on time. We sat outside on the nice patio and ordered drinks, an appetizer and 2 entrees. Our waitress Brittany was friendly but we hardly saw her. We waited awhile for our drinks, appetizer and entrees and then later the check. The food, as always is great. The Tuscan Harvest salad is wonderful. But drinks were not refilled and she finally came back to check on us after we were done. Then we waited awhile for the check. We were ready to leave for awhile and kept looking for her. The restaurant was not full so I'm not sure why we weren't given more attention. Also the hostess never checked us in on OpenTable so I received emails that we were a no-show. Usually my experience is better at Brio."

  • "We had a party of six on a Saturday night. We were seated promptly at a large round table. Our waitress, Mary, was very friendly and efficient. The veal dishes were excellent as were the other entrees. Prices are reasonable based on the quality and quantity of the portions. Desserts are great."

  • "If you are looking for a great indoor/outdoor place for a get together with a few friends, date night, or large group, this is the place. The food is fresh and outstanding. The service equally good."

  • "We met friends at Brio for a graduation celebration dinner. Our server, Jameson, was prompt and attentive, but not overbearing. The food delicious and a good value. "

  • "First experience, a midweek lunch, was really good and I will definitely be back. The only disappointment was the Lobster Bisque, specifically called out by the waiter, but presented as a half-filled container of puréed orange liquid. When I asked about the lack of any shellfish and compared their rendition to that of Capital Grille 300ft away, it was politely removed and taken off my bill. The Bruschetta Quattro was fantastic as was the outdoor sitting. Later, we retired back to the lounge area where we relaxed with coffee and the fireplace. Highly recommended."

  • "I've been to Brio several times and each time was great. The Tuscan Chicken Salad is delicious as are the pastas. Also a nice wine selection. Enjoyed the ambience also - restaraunt, bar and outside dining. Wish there was one on the northwest suburbs!"

  • "Having a reservation did not stop a 35 minute wait during which we had to inquire twice about its status. A free appetizer was offered for the wait . We were quite hungry and ordered as soon as we were seated and had to ask, after 20 minutes, where our salads were. Unfortunately, this is the second time this reservation system was not well administered. "

  • "my dinner had too much spice in it. it was overpowering and couldn't eat it. the server offered something else but by then i didn't want to sit there and wait considering my husband was almost done. we will not go again. server was very nice"

  • "Dined with a group of six for Brunch on Mother's Day with a 10:15 a.m. reservation. Other breakfast restaurants in the area had lines out the door. Brio's large space was only half-filled; this was to our advantage. It wasn't loud and we didn't feel like others were listening to our conversations. Our server Diane was very attentive and very professional. Brunch entrees averaged around $10 - a great value. We had a mix of breakfast and lunch items including Stuffed French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Pasta Ala Vodka and an Omelette. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The White Peach Sangria was wonderful as was the Berry Lemonade. We spent must less than the typical Mother's Day Brunch Buffet and enjoyed it much more."

  • "I took my mother to Brio on the Saturday before Mother's Day. We had 5:00 pm reservations. Check-in was a bit unorganized, but I'm sure it was due to the holiday. Once seated, our bread was still in the oven and were given crackers. Once our order was taken, it took about 25 minutes for our choices to be served. Again, I attribute this to a busy holiday. All in all, our food was very good and our server was friendly. This is a good family restaurant . The noise level is high, so I wouldn't recommend Brio for a romantic dinner."

  • "The available tables for Easter brunch were scarce the day of so we thought we'd give Brio a try. We had eaten dinner there before and liked it but were not thinking that it would be a great brunch spot. We were very pleasantly surprised. There was something for all of us, and the veggie omelet was excellent. "
