Brindle RoomFun neighborhood late night dinnera friend and I went here for dinner on saturday night. We were about 20 minutes late for our reservation and they had given our table away (our bad), but we sat at the bar and enjoyed some of their great cocktails: she had the sparkling sangria and I had the normal red sangria, both were delicious perfect for summer drinks. For dinner we had the salmon, kale, sauteed mushrooms and chickpeas- everything was delicious and the portions are HUGE- definitely be prepared to be taking home leftovers.
The ambience of the restaurant is really great- its very small with only about 10~ tables. The braised kale was a little overcooked for my taste, but overall, I thought the meal was really good. Space is a little small, but not sure how crowded it gets on the weekends. We had a reservation and we were able to get our table quickly, but it looked like the brunch rush was over. We ordered the donuts, burger, shakshuka, and shrimp and grits. All very good and tasty. The burger was really juicy and charred on the outside, so it had a nice flavor. The grits were exceptionally creamy and cheesy, and my friend (from the South) practically licked the bowl he loved it so much. The shakshuka was great.
