BrindisiBrindisiWhat a charming restaurant. Brindisi reminded me of my travels in Italy. My friend and I shared the ahi tuna tartare appetizer and it was a generous serving. Flavors were fresh and bright. I had the spaghetti with wild boar sausage with porchini mushrooms in a light cream sauce, it was delicious. My friend had a perfectly prepared fish .... it was succulent, light and delicious with the side of spinach.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMFun outdoor place in SF downtown! This restaurant is one of several along a small alley in downtown San Francisco. There are heaters available for chilly nights, which helps enjoyment of the ambiance. On a recent Wednesday evening, we enjoyed delicious food, with several excellent vegetarian options and some great wine! Highly recommend the eggplant pizza with goat cheese and the mushrooms sauteed in Marsala. Service seemed abit indifferent at times, but perhaps that is part of the charm!5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGood Food & Nice PlaceSmall, attractive restaurant with good food at reasonable prices for SF.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMReminded me of ItalyThe pizza was as delicious as those I've had in Rome. The crab salad crostini was also delectable.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWe loved it. Wish the near-byWe loved it. Wish the near-by parking garage had stayed open beyond 9 PM. Brindisi is a small and very cute restaurant that reminded us of Europe. Our waiter was attentive, patient and knowledgeable. The food was very good -- even by SF standards.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went there for a familyWe went there for a family dinner and it was perfect. My Cioppino was a little on the bland side with the sauce more flavored towards meat rather than fish but every one else commented on how good their meals were so I was very happy I took them there.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AM
