Brigantine La MesaExcellent !!!We were so impressed by the service and for the food recommendation by our server, he suggested the Alaskan Halibut since it has such a short season, 2 months. We all ordered it and we all agreed it was fabulous. The portion was very generous! We noted that we were celebrating 2 anniversaries and the server wished us a happy anniversary. That itself impressed us and then we both were offered a free dessert! You can almost always count on the "Brig' for outstanding fish dinners, as well as other delicious entrees and deserts. They have a fairly nice wine list, but a limited "by the glass' selection. Service is usually very good, but can be a bit slow when busy. We usually only go to the Brig on special occasions, since they can be somewhat pricy, over $100 dollars for two. Since this is one of my wife's favorite restaurants I took her there for our 3rd wedding anniversary. The food is always delicious and reasonably priced. The $3 bottomless mimosas at brunch cannot be beat. The best part about the restaurant is not the food or prices, though-- it's the service! Everyone is super friendly and professional. Our server, Denay, was very accommodating and sweet! The manager at the time, Alex, also came over to make sure that everything was to our liking! He was great!

New to us was the raspberry tea which was wonderful--not sweetened and with no lingering after-taste. We moved all over the country been married 20 years now and decided to come back for my wifes birthday. I aksed for a quiet corner and even though it was packed, they found a wonderful table for us. The food was excellent. We got amazing service from Sophia as well. What a wonderful day. All of them have been overall good experiences. The food has always been excellent and service has always been great. It is sometimes a little loud and hard to have a serious conversation with guests but since it is family friendly (and bar friendly), that is understandable.

We went on a Wednesday night and it was packed. Glad we had made a reservation. 1/2 price wine bottle Wednesdays. Great idea.
