The service has always been excellent. I am gluten-free and I am pleased to report that every waiter that we have had at this Brigantine has been alert to ensuring that i do not select items that have "hidden" gluten.

From the moment we arrived, the hostess, waitress, bus boys and everyone we came in contact with were accommodating and provided that "service with a smile" that seems to be in short supply at most restaurants. The outdoor setting was quiet, festive, warm and inviting. Our food was cooked to perfection, delicious, attractively presented and I might add, more than a generous portion. Because of the birthday celebration, we were presented a complimentary dessert which was more than enough for the two of us and also perfectly delicious. The staff worked well together, the food was pleasant, atmosphere energetic and friendly. Great service and the hostesses actually read my request for a quiet booth away from the service areas due to the handicapped lady I was entertaining on a walker. We didn't feel we were 'in the way' and were able to conduct our business quietly without interruption. Unfortunately there was a 10-15 min wait to be seated, although there were plenty of open tables. We had made a reservation and showed up early, but did not get seated unil our reservation time. Obviously this is a favorite for lunch and was very busy with locals, always a good sign. We tried a sampler platter - which was very 'few' in items offered but good quality for what was presented. The offering of half salads was a plus as a half salad with some of the more prized ingredients like crab, lobster, chicken etc. was very reasonably priced and good tasting.
