Brûlée, the Brigantine is a favorite among locals for consistently fresh seafood, succulent steaks and grilled meats. Perched between the spectacular Pacific Ocean and the hills of Rancho Santa Fe, the Del Mar Brigantine sits high above the action of the Del Mar racetrack. A lushly landscaped garden offers an unparalleled setting for weddings and outdoor-themed events. Indoors, a formal dining room looks out to the garden through floor-to-ceiling french doors. For more casual dining, the glass-enclosed deck is a year-round favorite. The Del Mar Brigantine serves dinner 7 nights a week, lunch Monday-Saturday, and brunch each Sunday. Had a great lunch with two coworkers at the Brig Del Mar. We all thought the food was fantastic. We had the fish tacos on the lunch menu. Even better was the service from the valet park, quick seating by host and best of all our server was friendly and on top of everything. Price was a value for what you get.

Good spot for a nice evening out with the family and kids. Quick service, nice and friendly staff from the hostess, to the manager and waiter. They handled our request to change seats to avoid a draft quickly and without a fuss. The food was good and there was something that appealed to all ages and tastes.

I had a price fixed dinner. I was supposed to get cherry crumb cake for desert. I asked for it to go. When I got it in a closed box, I opened it, to find a dried brownie. I asked the wait person what happened and she said it was stuffed with cherries. It was not. It tasted the way it looked, a dried brownie.

The service was great. Tate was our waiter. Skip the calimari it was chewy. Fish n chips were good. Shrimp snd crabmeat wrapped in bacon was over cooked. Sides were good though.

LOVE this restaurant and come here every time I have work related business in San Diego. The food is always good and the service is immpecable. Had a lovely table inside by the open door to the fire pit outside. So beautiful and calming. Yes, the train does go by below but it's not overly annoying. All in all, A GREAT time!
And Damon, our waiter, was AMAZING!!!!!
