  • "Service was good and friendly. Roast beef had a funny taste. St. Louis ribs were overcooked. The chocolate cake was the best."

  • "If you are a foodie and you like seafood, the brunch is where you want to be. You can select items from the buffet, which includes a wide range of seafood options, or you can have the chef prepare omelets, eggs benedict or whatever you like. There is a carving station for ham, roast beef or turkey, and a station for pancakes with or without chocolate chips or blueberries. Definitely recommend a visit."

  • "Was great to sit on the patio and listen to music. Had a great meal for family of 8. Was still quiet enough with the music to have a conversation."

  • "Fulfilled a special seating request. Music was great."

  • "A goup of friends and I came to see the Treetop Flyers concert and had a real nice meal! The folks at the restaurant were very helpful, pleasant and friendly. A nice start to a great night of food and music!"

  • "We do not live in this area, and were curious that our GPS was taking us through a (quite attractive) neighborhood of condos. The restaurant is in the town square of this community. The brunch buffet was outstanding, with made-to-order Eggs Benedict, fresh oysters, clam, and shrimp, and numerous other selections."

  • "Always good. Brickside is nice for a snack, brunch or meal. They are accommodating and easy when children are present. The quality of the food is very good, good presentation, and very good service. Love the oyster selection. It is a little off the beaten path for some but still has a lively crowd and good live music."

  • "We attended the Brickside Grille for my brother's graduation celebration. It was a fabulous evening! We have eaten at the Brickside many times in the past and we love a few of their dishes so much that we eat them on every occasion: 1. Nachos - these are amazing. Get the half order though! 2. Salmon - Perfectly cooked and wonderful combination of maple flavor with mashed sweet potatoes 3. Onion Rings - the spicy dipping sauce that accompanies these is fantastic Overall, we loved our meal and the servers were very attentive and wonderful!"

  • "We love this restaurant! We love the atmosphere, service, quality of the food and the monthly changing menu options. The inside of the restaurant can get noisy at times, but there is a side room that is open at times that is very quiet and feels like a private dining room. That being said we enjoy eating in the regular restaurant area, as the noise level is usually moderate. We absolutely love the outdoor seating area. We only wish they could find a way to squeeze in more tables, as it is hard to get an outside table on a nice evening without an additonal hour or so wait! Awesome place overall."

  • "We visit Brickside Grille often because of the relaxed setting and great service....and the food is pretty good also. The menu changes monthly and there is something for everyone- sandwiches to entree's.... If you enjoy outside dining, you can enjoy dinner with some great music as well. They also have a great selection of craft beers as well as the usual roster of favorites. I can't say enough about the service and the wait staff- always willing to help, make suggestions, and with a positive attitude. Always something for the kids as well including their great pizzas....affordable prices, great staff, good food, and a nice neighborhood spot to relax and enjoy some great conversation. Would recommend you give Brickside a try! "

  • "I loved the ambience, surprised that this place was hidden back there. I liked that there was a band but you could not hear them unless you were out on the patio. The table split nachos which were very good so I got an app of Buffalo shrimp. There were only 4 or 5 shrimp for $12. Thought for the money I should have gotten a little more. It took the waitress awhile to come back to the table and when she did she grabbed my glass and started walking away, I asked if she was getting me another beer and she said "oh, did you want one?" Of course I did I'm eating buffalo shrimp. My bill was $22 for 2 beers and buffalo shrimp and 1 of the beers was happy hour price. "

  • "My in-laws and out-laws were in town, and we took a group of 10. Great service, mixed reviews on individual meals. We'd go again, and try something different though. "

  • "The food is always good. Don't drink the clear alcohol, its watered down."

  • "My recent visit to Brickside was my second disappointing experience. My first time, the waitress dropped a tray of drinks on me and my companion. She never offered us anything to make up for it. She also never asked us if we wanted coffee and dessert. I waited several months and gave them another chance this week. My friend and I ordered the same sandwich, based on my recommendation. The toasted bread was limp and hard to handle and the bacon was undercooked. We had to ask other waitstaff for help because our waitress was nowhere to be found. After years of enjoying Brickside, I think that may have been my last visit."

  • "The food was great as always and the comfortable spring evening made it great for dining outside. My wife had a special and I order off the menu and both meals were very good. Surprisingly, the service was very slow for a Tuesday evening with a normal crowd; however, it wasn't enough to keep us from not coming back for another evening."

  • "Mother's Day dinner with the family. Had the gumbo which was good but found myself wishing for a little more spice in the dish. The rest of the family enjoyed their selections which included salmon, ravioli and steak. We will be back! "

  • "We had Mother's Day dinner and everyone was happy with the good and beverage variety!"

  • "Went for Dinner on Mother's Day. We have been there before and always enjoyed the food and service. Have had both lunch/dinner, indoors/outdoors. We were seated promptly but thats where the promptness ended. We waited for some time for drink orders, and again waited to order food. since we had a 7:15 reservation, most parties were winding down, and initially thought servers were just busy wrapping up tables. then we thought maybe the kitchen was slow. ultimately, i think the restaurant and staff were just out of steam by 7pm from a long and busy day. If this had been my first experience, i doubt i would return."

  • "We had a party of 7 for mothers day dinner. Service was generally slow, but food was excellent. Portion size on most appetizers was pretty small. Generally an OK experience, on an admittedly very busy day."
    Dined on 5/11/2014
  • "We had a very nice dinner for 10. Service was slow. But since it was Mother's Day I was pleased overall. Took about 2hrs and 40 min to finish dinner. It is a very nice spot for outside dining."

  • "Always enjoy. Love the oysters and great choices. That said, they need to address the carpenter bees on the patio. They were out of control Saturday afternoon. "

  • "Food was very fresh and delicious. Many choices for everyone to enjoy."

  • "Service was exceptional. I don't remember our servers first name, but her last name is Maloney. Pinot Noir by the glass was definitely a light pour. The Lobster Bisque tasted like it was out of a can, but the prime rib that was tender and flavorful. My dining companion enjoyed an assortment of raw oysters, as well as the Shellfish Fra Diablo. The noise level was almost obnoxious. There is a nice patio for al fresco dining, but unfortunately it was a bit too chilly to sit outside the evening we dined there. Pricing was reasonable, ample portions. "

  • "Overall I found the service good, waitress was very pleasant and willing to serve. Food was good. I had the tequila lime chicken which was very flavorful. The seasoning was just right. Portions size was good for the price."

  • "This restaurant is about an hour from my home but a good place to meet a friend who lives an hour in the other direction. The food is interesting, tasty and well served. We sat for a few hours in a restaurant that was not busy at the time, and the wait staff filled our drinks and checked in from time to time. I will go there again for sure. The location is a bit out of the way from Route 100 but is well worth the jaunt."

  • "My prime rib was excellent, the bake potato was overcooked, as it was small. Wife had a large salad which she enjoyed until she realized that the lettuce contained heavy dirt. Carrot Cake for desert was great. "

  • "Stopped in a few times for drinks after work and a great place for that. Love sitting outside and having a drink with friends here. Ate dinner here for the first time a couple of nights ago. Very nice experience overall. The salmon dish was fantastic and the recommended wine was spot on. We will be back. Love knowing there is a great restaurant close to my neighborhood."

  • "Everything that we ate was delicious. Although the restaurant was slow, our server still seemed to be a bit overwhelmed and less attentive than we would have liked."
    Dined on 4/8/2014
  • "We made an early dinner reservation in hopes of having the best selection of a relative quiet spot to catch up with other. So many times we can't even hear our own conversations. This worked out well for the most part. It did get a little noisy at one point but wasn't too bad. It was a beautiful evening and lots of customers were taking advantage of dining outdoors. We took 3 1/2 hours for dinner and never felt rushed by our waitress. Everyone was very happy with the food. Their portions are good and prices are reasonable."

  • "Brickside is one of our regular favorites! We went to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and as always, we were not disappointed!! Our waiter, Michael, was very attentive even though he was quite busy with tables both inside and outside (beautiful day). The food is always consistently good -- prociutto shrimp appetizer is my wife's favorite. Very pleasant surprise at the bar with an excellent selection of beers (Ithaca Flower Power was today's choice!) and a great Scotch in the Highland Park 15. We'll be back soon!!"

  • "We went for brunch, which is always good. Nice selection. Brickside does have the best prime rib. It is one of the items on the brunch menu as well as on their dinner menu. For the oyster lover, they have several selections."

  • "Brickside Grille is very predictable. Food is good, atmosphere is very nice, service is about the best in the area and a great point of relaxation. We always enjoy our meal and we always note that the manager and staff never stop moving. Definitely a place to keep on our "go back to" list."

  • "We often go to Brickside Grille and have always enjoyed it. This time was not the best! The nachos were a it dry, not really moorish. The steak was so fatty and marled, really disappointed. Our children ate this and 1/2 of their meal on the plate was fat. The wine and drinks (good selection) were great. We usually have pizza and salad which is delicious. Will forget entrees next time Nd stick with what they do best - pizza and salad!"
