Brick and Bottle has consistently presented five-star meals in a comfortable venue. On several occasions we have found the service, ambience, and particularly the friendly attention of the staff of the highest level. Highly recommended.

Nice looking venue (used to be Izzy's - which I miss desperately). But the food was bland. My group ordered several dishes and they all lacked flavor. Wait staff was amateurish. Won't go back

Brick and Bottle is solid. Good but not great food. They made excellent before dinner drinks. We had oysters and chicken wing appetizers. The oysters were great but one of the dips was very bland, not as good as we're accustomed to. The chicken wing appetizers were cooked in an orange sauce with a blue cheese dip that was very bland, almost like milk. Again, disappointing. The main courses were very good, with generous portions. We had a nice bottle of wine, although much of the list seemed pricy. Some small corrections could make this a much better restaurant. We'll be back though.

First time here, but absolutely loved it. The chicken is really, really good. Excellent waitress, very attentive, cannot say one bad thing about it. Good menu. Will absolutely go back. On Fridays, you can bring your own wine and have no corkage fee, which we did, but then way over-tipped our waitress because of that and because she was really attentive to us.

We went on-line one hour before we arrived (15 minutes late) and were told that you could not take a party of 12 on short notice. We placed two reservations for 6. Upon arrival we asked that the tables be close together as possible. The manager did better than that and cleared a table that handled our entire party of 12. The service was excellent and your entire staff was very friendly. There were no mix-ups on the orders. Each meal was placed in front of the person who ordered it, which usually doesn't happen with large parties. Everyone one in our party was pleased with the dining experience.

We got a reservation and asked for a special quiet spot for a romantic birthday celebration and we got wedged between a large private party and butt up to the waitstaff's side bar with people zooming past us all night long and an extremely noisy spot. We were very disappointed to say the least. They were understaffed and so we didn't get the attention we desired either. The food was OK but not great for the price. Could have gone to a world class restaurant in SF for the price we paid. I would not go back there for a romantic or quiet evening but would go to the energetic bar in the evening or to lunch for a burger and scalloped potatoes!!!

My wife and I dining here for the first time and were disappointed. Items the sounded really good on the menu simply had little or no flavor, or the flavor they had was not that great. For example the fried green tomatoes tasted entirely of breading and grease, the aioli did nothing. And the chile relleno's tasted...well...strange. We eat out often, so we may try here again since any place can have one bad night, but as of this visit we would not recommend Brick and Bottle.

Service was good at the start of our evening, but not as attentive as past visits. My husband ordered the skirt steak and it was so stringy he literally couldn't cut it. My arugula salad was delicious but the salmon topping it was not the best. Would think twice before attending again.

We went for our daughters birthday, our favorite go to restaurant where we know the food will be outstanding and the service will be awesome. We started with the gnocchi and risotto which was melt in your mouth, I had the Duck Confit which was excellent, my eldest and husband had Petrole Sole, and the birthday girl always has the truffle Mac and Cheese. The waiter surprised the birthday girl with a piece of cake and candle but we still had to order their amazing derserts as well! Thank you Brick and Bottle for such a enjoyable evening!!

Best Rotisserie Chicken I have ever eaten. This is definitely not your grocery store Rotisserie Chicken. Skin crisp, crackly and full of flavor and the meat, even the white meat, still moist. I was in love at first bite. My wife had the Duck Confit, completely boned, and she declared it top notch. The half chicken was the daily special and at $25 including a Caesar salad and dessert a great buy.

We had a very nice evening recently at the Brick and Bottle. The menu has a nice selection. The tuna tartare was terrific and the gazpacho was very flavourful. I ordered a beef dish that came with creamy polenta as a side dish and that was the best polenta I think I've ever had! My dinner date selected the sole that was in a cream sauce and it was lovely. My only complaints are the deserts. The selection was just a little too sweet/rich for both our tastes and I wish they would have an item or two that was a little lighter, more delicate. Other than that the food was great, the prices are very reasonable and our server was top notch.

Better than expected for a neighborhood restaurant which serves lots of pizza, beer and wine. Great heirloom-tomato salad with crunchy cucumber and onion along with feta cheese. Solid halibut main course with tasty sides. Wine list selections are ample and fairly priced. Reserve the back room to stay away from the noise.

An inpromptu visit after some time, menu choices were good as was the service ::: With starters, we had a chili relleno which was over-the-top delicious - less traditional, more hip, full of flavor with roasted corn, goat's cheese, and queso fresco - Awesome! ::: The roasted Mary's chicken was perfectly done, and our Pizza with prosciutto, goat's cheese and arugula had more of the toppings then most trendy pizzeria's give you ::: All in all, a well-done meal...

Our waiter seemed rushed and distracted. Instead of introducing himself and asking for drinks orders he seemed to want to rush us into ordering everything as soon as we sat down. He then didn't write anything down and forgot two appetizers. One glass of wine arrived ten minutes after the others. Entrees arrived in haphazard order. The food itself seemed fine, it just wasn't possible to enjoy the experience given the quality of the service. A shame really, since the lace looked quite nice. I daresay we'll give it another chance in the future.

In the past couple of months, I have met a couple of friends for a drink and a light meal. The Ahi Tuna appetizer is the best and always consistent. We weren't happy with the chicken salad--rather bland. However, I have had good meals in the past and would recommend it. The atmosphere is good, casual, and you can have a good conversation.

Enjoyed my dinner at Brick and Bottle. We went with a party of 10 . Had a nice large table in the back of the restaurant. I was very pleased with the food and wine choices we made. My only complaint was the noise. It really was too loud! I could not even hear my husband and he was sitting next to me. I would not recommend for intimate dinner where you want to have conversation.

It's a little pricey for a weekly go to kind of place but that makes it a bit more special. Everything this visit was great. The best is the kids menu steak offering. For 9 dollars your little one gets a healthy sized portion OF the 26 dollar steak dinner. Incredible value and if order it myself if I had a fake ID.

My husband and I were on the way to SF from Santa Rosa and we were getting too hungry to wait to get to the city. I googled restaurants in Corte Madera and found Brick and Bottle. We booked our reservation via open table and 20 minutes later were seated at a lovely corner booth. Excellent service, excellent food and wine. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant for future date nights away from the kiddos. :-)

I didn't want to comment abt this restaurant openly but wanted to speak to the GM first who never returned my call even after leaving a detailed message wanting to give him my negative comments and not on Open Table for all to see. The Romaine Hearts Salad was too salty/thick with ordinary romaine, and in contrast to the original artisan baby romaine salad they had served before. B and B previously obtained their baby romaine from a local artisan farm which had a light & tasteful dressing. The Skirt Steak was so tough that we literally gave up in struggling to cut the "leather-like" meat. The Pot Roast was so-so---a small portion and not delectable. The mash potatoes were warm. In contrast, the Sweet Corn Succotash was delicious.

This location has seen several restaurants come and go across the past twenty some years. This one, hopefully, will be around for awhile. My wife and I entertained four out of town guests at dinner and each remarked at the fine quality of their meal. Our server was okay but was lacking in the polish that I would have expected from the mature woman she was. Entrees varied from grilled salmon with succotash (yes succotash!) to hamburger and fries. Friday night featured corkage without charge and our bottle of Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc was a nice addition to the meal. Desserts were fabulous including my my lemon tart - yum!
